SpookyAlice · 26/10/2009 19:13

Hello ladies, would you mind if i joined you?

Not sure what all the numbers are for, but we are ttc dc2, i am on day 10 of a 28day cycle. I ovulate early and Dh and i have been trying very hard this last week started getting strong period type cramps in the last 24hrs though, so a bit concerned that this isn't going to work this month.

SpookyAlice · 26/10/2009 19:16

I think it is day 10 (day 1 is first day of af isn't it?)

liahgen · 26/10/2009 19:56

~new is there something you need to tell us as you have omitted yourself from the list?

SpookyTeaFan · 26/10/2009 20:23

Everything ok new? Really had my fingers crossed for you this cycle

Welcome Alice, let us know how many cycles you have been TTC#2 and a stats bunny someone will add you to the list

Oh Mabh, don't know how you're going to resist those CB's I only have cheapy, 2 for £1.49, Wilko tests so am just going to keep telling myself there is no way anything would show up earlier than 12 DPO

After 6 cycles I really hope it will be my turn but sooo scared of being disappointed again Guess i'll just have to wait a few more days, try to do something at work instead of lurking on Mumsnet to keep busy and then just see...

clumsyspookybroomstick · 26/10/2009 21:49

Hi everyone. Well it is busy busy busy here (at home and work) so not much time to post but I have caught up on the news.

Congrats latest!! And sorry to all of those who haven't been so lucky.

Lots of BD in the Broomstick family. Let's hope that baby dust works. And I will not be symptom spotting and I will not be testing early and I WILL STAY SANE!

MonstrousMuser · 27/10/2009 07:50

Ok that is it. No more POAS for me unless AF fails to arrive. Did a FR today as it's in the time period and got a BFN. Must stop obsessing!

lucybrad · 27/10/2009 08:16

well everyone, not sure what is happening with me. Last month (first after coil removal) i had a 26 day cycle and ov'd (positive OPK) on day 12/13. This month I am on day 14 - have not had a poisitive OPK, and strangley have no EWCM (or for that matter no CM at all really) which is most unlike me. So now I am thinking that I have not OVd at all, which would be a real pain, and definately hindering me getting PG lol.

Also I have been using the OPK reading to tell me when it is safe to drink, so if I ovd early and missed the signs then I have just pickled my baby after numerous glasses of vino last night at an ann summers.

latestincarnation · 27/10/2009 08:27

July 2010 antenatal thread

Just dropping by to wish you all luck - come over and join us when you can!

Thanks for the congrats everyone - clumsy I hope all that BDing pays off!!

jumblequeen · 27/10/2009 08:57

Hello ladies,

Mind if I join? It'll be mid-july for me (all being well!)

TTC - number 1
UCL - 26
Cycle - 2
CD - 13

Hope I got that right...

JenAT · 27/10/2009 09:00

well. just started my period, so think i'm off to the August bus or would I still be at the back of the july bus? good luck to all, fingers crossed for lots of BFP!

mabh · 27/10/2009 09:19

hello folks any more tests at the front of the bus?

newmember come and have a chat.

spooky I wish I could buy HPTs that cheap - the under-reported downside of living in the middle of nowhere is that we don't have any Wilkinson's or other cheap shops! Can get any type of waterproof jacket in any horrible shade you like, tho' .

I'm trying not to symptom-spot too much, despite the jesting. I am so unused to my natural cycle after donkey's years on the pill that I am constantly surprised by what I presume are normal, cyclical changes!

Hello jumble nice to meet you. Sorry about the witch, jen, I will probably end up joining you soon enough...

SpookyTeaFan · 27/10/2009 09:28

Welcome SpookyAlice and jumblequeen pull up a pew and help yourself to ice cream JenAT have added you to the back of the bus and fingers crossed for this cycle

Hi All

On holiday and still logging on to MN how sad am I its become a strange addition!!!!

I'm on CD18 UCL 28 so was wondering when should I start testing am getting really anxious now.

nymphadora · 27/10/2009 10:04

Congrats latest

Lol at mrs lupin just had explain it to dh!

Irishfairy · 27/10/2009 10:17

Hi all! Can I hop onto the bus too please? This is my first ever post on MN!

TTC#1 Cycle1 UCL30-32 CD29

I have only a day or two before I am officially late so feeling excited and very tempted to test but don't want to be disappointed, it is only our first month trying so the odds are probably not going to be a BFP yet. Also have had absolutely no symtoms at all! Can't help hoping though, really want a baby!

Been following this thread for about a week now and finally worked up the courage to join in!

jumblequeen · 27/10/2009 10:36

This is one hell of a big bus! Hopefully we'll all be alighting come july and can make room for the august travelers...

x

mabh · 27/10/2009 12:06

Hello irishfairy nice to meet you. Despite our obsessive symptom spotting, you do hear that plenty of people get none, so anything could happen .

jumble I get the vision of one of those double-length buses with a bendy bit in the middle.

nymph hope you enjoyed York. Mrs Lupin didn't take long to produce, so hopefully neither will you...

sayanything · 27/10/2009 12:46

Just dropping in to say a quick hello and see how everyone is.

I'm on the 2ww - only 5dpo - and trying not to obsess too much.

As an aside, I usually take ibuprofen for headaches etc, but I know that it's a no-no during pregnacy. So I sent DH to the chemist's yesterday to get some paracetamol, but he was told that I shouldn't take ANY medication in the first trimester at all. Was anyone else given that advice? Are we meant to just suffer through migraines (ok, paracetamol is close to useless of migraines, but it takes the edge off)? I live in Belgium btw.

sayanything · 27/10/2009 12:46

Oh and congratulations Latest!!!

Frejya · 27/10/2009 12:48

Hi, just adding myself, hope its right?! On CD14 today, only 14 days to wait now...

sayanything paracetamol should be fine, stick to the recommended dose and do not take any cold/flu sachets etc as you can accidently go over the limit - and check it has no adrenaline/epinephrine in it.

Thanks for the congrats - hope to see more of you soon!

mabh · 27/10/2009 13:31

sayanything I think there was a thread on paracetamol in 'pregnancy' recently and it was very clear that everyone said it was fine. Just make sure it isn't one of those mega-paracetamols with codeine in it.

latest still but pleased
