Hi all,

I've just checked and if it happens this time I'd actually be due early July. Please feel free to join me on this bus:

Hi everyone, checked with BBC's pregnancy calendar and WHEN () I get pregnant this cycle I'll be due 1st August so have started an August Bus Thread for those who - sadly - may want to join me. Its this thread right here Tis a lucky thread - I feel it in my bones

I'm sorry to those who have been rudely forced to invite AF in for a coffee - no manners that witch has she??

Please please let August be a fruitful month for all, and July for those still waiting on this bus.

MonstrousMuser · 25/10/2009 21:04

I think we've got two August buses running! That's got to double everyone's chances, right?

KayloSpellmaker · 25/10/2009 21:16

Theres 2? I thought I checked - unless

Well, I did sort of create an August thread, then I somehow lost it So I created another one. But I still can't find the original one tho.

Anyone got the link? I'm curious now - I wanna check it out xx

MonstrousMuser · 25/10/2009 22:01

Other thread is here

It looks like yours was created first by about 5 mins, so that explains the not spotting it! I still say it's a good omen.

MonstrousMuser · 25/10/2009 23:29

God I'm dumb, just noticed you made both of them, so it must have been the losing thing you mentioned!

UmBongo · 26/10/2009 08:44

Sorry to here af got you lia, but pleased you will be hanging around here for a bit, I've just moved up the bus from the back, the cushions are really comfy and there is usually ice cream and cake and wine back there.

We are now onto day 12 and started the shagathon, although when DH was warned not to fall asleep last night he had to make a really strong coffee!! ( does that mean that cafeinated swimmers are more swimmey or doped up and lazy?!!

FactsAndFigures · 26/10/2009 08:52

Congratulations on becoming Mrs Nymph!!!

Sorry to those hit by AF at the weekend

Latest with me.... I'm on CD26 and usually have a 28 day cycle (last month was an abnormal 38 day cycle!) so in the hope that I'm back to 28 day cycle I did a FR early test yesterday and got a BFN I think that I'm more with myself as I kept telling myself not to even think about testing until Thursday when AF is due (if 28 days!) but caved in anyway

kkas · 26/10/2009 10:13

Morning -

Well, AF got me last night, despite being only on what I thought was Day 18! Came with the horrid cramps that I remembered from pre-pill days too . Either the bleed I had a couple weeks ago was not AF, or this was like the shortest cycle known to woman! I did think about taking a pg test to see whether maybe it was a CP, but really can't stand the disappointment. Don't want to put myself through the sadness of losing something I never knew I had (and tbh I'm pretty sure I was not pg as did not feel any symptoms). More likely that since it's only been a few months since I've come off the pill, so my cycle has not settled down yet. I checked due date calculator and if I have a regular cycle this month, it would still be due by the end of July, so will stick around.

But can someone please update me on the list?

kkas TTC#1 Cycle4 UCL? CD2

Thanks!

latestincarnation · 26/10/2009 10:14

Still no AF, was due on sat, so off to get some clear blue tests as the own brand gave me 2 bfns last week and I have no idea what's going on!

Congrats Mrs Nymph!

liahgen · 26/10/2009 10:20

latest keep us updated, we need some good news.

nymphadora · 26/10/2009 12:30

Hi everyone!

Posting from starbucks in York so if anyone is in the area HI!

Must have miscounted about my cycle cos am now on day 19 so when I get home it will be nearly time to test as long as I can hold off buying them this week

we both now have a fluey cold thing and left dd2 at jhome suffering poor thing missed most of the wedding as did my mam who took her home but she was a lot better when we left yesterday. I slept most of the way here & dh is suffering today. We have had breakfast at asda & been to hmv and are going back for hot tub & DVDs!

liahgen · 26/10/2009 12:36

Oops kkas have now added you to the list and taken you off it further up

mabh · 26/10/2009 13:58

Congratulations mrs lupin and didn't you know it's a well-known fact that there are no HPTs for sale in York - you will have to wait 'til you get home . I love York. I've got a long weekend there in early November to get Christmas shopping started!

Congratulations latest! Exellent! So how many days late were you when the BFP came up (am I thinking right? Or were you doing lots of early tests )?

Sorry about those caught by the bad witch. Bah!

I think I'm now about 7dpo so am starting to think I should be symptom spotting. But then, I thought I'd seen some for the last two months and - nada!

latestincarnation · 26/10/2009 14:40

I tested -4 and -2 and got bfns, bfp came 3d after AF due, but I've only had 3 AFs since they restarted after my DS was born, so my cycle must be a little unpredictable.

I still don't quite believe it, and probably won't until labour starts

sticky sticky sticky sticky sticky

mabh · 26/10/2009 15:12

sticky sticky sticky sticky!

I see, then, classic case of we really should wait until AF due. Strange conclusion from a woman who's just bought Clearblue early tests 'just in case'!!!

I keep thinking I have midriff throbbing, or it could be that my knickers are too tight . Or is it that I am bloated (she said, significantly... surely that's a symptom, too ).

STOP ME SOMEONE I've just been lurking on the JoJoMaman site looking up maternity wear...

Frejya · 26/10/2009 15:17

can I join please?

TTC#1 Cycle 10 UCL 27 CD13

I really want a baybee. Please let this be a lucky month for as many as possible.

Good Luck

mabh · 26/10/2009 15:29

Hi frejya nice to meet you. We are especially good on this bus if you are a mystical or mythical being (see earlier posts, or you will think I am a nutcase)... aren't you a Norse goddess?

SpookyTeaFan · 26/10/2009 16:04

Welcome Frejya

Mabh, can I join with your symptom spotting/trying desperately not to test? I am only 6/7 DPO but keep getting a dull ache and intermittent sharp twinges. My tummy feels 'hot' and my OV bloating hasn't gone down. Trying desperately not to get excited

I promise not to test until Saturday, when are you trying to hold off until?

mabh · 26/10/2009 16:14

Well spooks I have a 30/31 cycle and day 27 would be 31st. I've never bought the CB tests before (that's all your lot's fault, msnetters, that is!) and they say 4d prior is ok. Question is, will I have any willpower . I think the fact that I bought BD not Boots tells all...
