Hi all,

I've just checked and if it happens this time I'd actually be due early July. Please feel free to join me on this bus:

aideesmum TTC#2 UCL 30-34 CD2

OP posts:
Sherida · 14/10/2009 21:19

Hello ladies, room for one more? I've got one lovely DD (an accident so does that make me TTC1 or 2 as I didn't actually try the first time?).

WickedWitchSouthWest · 14/10/2009 21:39

lia I think I must already have a slight rattle! I've got my bloods on cd24 but the gp seemed unconcerned as to whether we got the blood on the right day or not!

welcome to the mad house sherida. Yes you are TTC#2 (your second child), Cycle is the number of months you've been trying, UCL is usual cycle length and CD is the number of days since the start of your last period. Let us know your numbers and you'll be added to the passenger list My dd was a surprise too - I was off the pill 4 weeks before getting a bfp! No such luck this time but I hope you have better luck!

liahgen · 14/10/2009 21:41

Welcome sheridan you are ttc#2 cos this will be your 2nd child regardless of accident or planned.

You need to tell us,

nickname ttc#,

how many months you have been trying - cycle ?

ucl - usual cycle length,

cd - which day of cycle you are on, (count day 1 as when bleeding started)

then stats bunny somone will add you to the list

good luck, we have brownies and wine doing the rounds, feel free to help yourself.

PollyPoo · 14/10/2009 21:53

Hello, can I hope on?

TTC #2
UCL 28 ish
CD 16

We've been ttc for 16 months which is v frustrating - have been spending time in the hut of doom when it all gets a bit much. I'm 38 now so clock is ticking v loudly

I'm feeling quite hopeful this month, its my first month of using a persona, I'm taking so many supplements that I rattle, and I'm having regular acupuncture too. Need a job to pay for it all . Oh and we had lots of sex and I held me legs in the air for AGES after, even did a bit of bicycling(sorry tmi!)

DD was conceived after 4 months of ttc - and the first month we tried opk's. Why oh why is it taking so farkin long this time?

Can anyone tell me what BESH stands for? I don't think they'll let me join as I already have DD but would just like to know. I'm nosy like that.

WickedWitchSouthWest · 14/10/2009 21:58

hi pollypoo cycle16! argh, not fun . I've added your stats to the bus - hope it's a lucky ride for you Can't help you with BESH tho, but would like to know!

Thanks WWSW. I agree - cycle 16 is... well, shit to be frank. And that is on a good day.

If there is one way to kill a sex life its having bubba sex for 16 months... I am having to get v inventive to keep DH interested, lol!

Those BESHies do seem to have a larf in there.... am intrigued to know what it stands for.

WickedWitchSouthWest · 14/10/2009 22:26

yes me too! nosiness abound! And I agree with the baby-making sex...actually starting to resent it. Tonight is really the last night of "we must do it tonight or I'll be cross" sex and I'm going to have to try very hard to keep dh interested!

randomimposter · 14/10/2009 22:28

have been a voyeur for a bit - but reckon I should join up and pay subs....
TTC#2 Cycle 1 (but after a MMC at end Of August) UCL 26-28 (buggered up by MMC I suspect) CD 19

is that present and correct...?

and yes what is this BESH stuff...?

PollyPoo · 14/10/2009 22:35

Welcome Jollster.

WWSW - this will make you laugh... Monday night was our last night of "we must do it tonight or I'll be cross" sex (as you put it) and poor DH had just about had enough

.... so I rooted around in my drawer a found a pair of nipple tassles from Ann Summers. I bought them ages ago, before I got pg with DD, and never used them. Just forgot they were there.

So there I was, prancing around upstairs - having glued them to self. Fluffed up hair, practised seductive moves in mirror.. you get the picture.

Anyway... DH farted around downstairs for so long I fell asleep (draped beautifully on pillow with duvet up to neck, lol).

Bless him, he managed to wake me up just enough to do the deed, but did not notice the nips until we got up in the morning. His face was rather , lol!

TMI?!!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 14/10/2009 22:39

gosh this is very exciting tonight espesh if you're stats bunny
Welcome on board jollster and welcome to the 2ww manic seats in the middle of the bus. We're starting to drive ourselves loopy, so feel free Sorry to see you've had an mmc, hope you're not waiting long for a sticky bfp now.

UmBongo · 14/10/2009 23:28

Hi pollypoo, sorry to see that I am not the only one in the extreme marble loss section of the bus! TTC for such an extreme length of time is distinctly shitty and I think dh is wondering what he can do to help the complete blithering, weeping idiot he is now married to. Every time af shows up. Good luck with the tassles though, I've not tried that one yet!!!! Of course I know what dh can do to help - GET ME PREGNANT! Easy - especially as one of my mates with a ds the same age as mine declared today that she is pg after only one month of trying. I did manage to not blub tho, and say congratulations to her!

UmBongo · 14/10/2009 23:35

Isn't BESH just pissed-speak for best? I am back to day 1 so have broken out the red wine - help yourself liagen and anyone else that wants some, there is a bit left!

I do like the chocolate brownies, thanks.

nymphadora · 15/10/2009 07:25

I keep lurking in the BESH threads but it's all too 'best mates' and didn't feel icoukd butt in!

Am already on 3 conceptionthreads anyway so not sure I can keep up on another!

Sherida · 15/10/2009 08:07

Ohh brownies (Makes chomping emote)! TY for being welcoming.

Sherida TTC#2 Cycle1 UCL28 CD21.

Fingers crossed for everyone .

babyinacorner · 15/10/2009 08:59

Hi everyone can i join too?

babyinacorner TTC#2 cycle 2 (after chem preg 2 cycles ago and mmc in feb) UCL 26-30 CD20

Am using the CBFM so I know i ov'd on day 13 so will be testing next wed. if it's happened then already worked out baby wld be due 3rd July. Having acupuncture and got everything crossed for this month, don't think i can take the disappointment if af turns up!

Lifeistooshort · 15/10/2009 09:06

Morning all. I thought I would bring a crate of wine for all of us (especially the ones who had a very long cylce and a rollercoster ride). But perhaps 9am is a little early for wine so I brought some scones and clotted cream too

I am also doing stat bunny today because my stats haven't been updated....Beware WW I might be after your stat bunny job!!

Morning all

Never too early for the red wine.... crack one open Lifeistooshort

I'm on day 17... trying not to obsess already, sign spotting etc. I will not think about this month. Much. Grrr

UmBongo we seem to have been ttc no 2 for roughly same time - and it sounds like our DH's have similar things to put up with Apart from getting me pg, bloody DH could actually do the sperm test that the GP gave him - she said she will refer us to fertility clinic for further tests, but can't do it without testing us both first (me done already). And he refuses. Tis the source of much 'heated debate' in this house, especially around the time the red witch arrives, lol.

Anyway, must get arse off sofa and get dogs out for walk. Have a good day all.

babyinacorner · 15/10/2009 10:39

yes i'm 31

pollypoo, i know what u mean about sign spotting, am on day 20 and wishing the next week away so i can poas..

WickedWitchSouthWest · 15/10/2009 11:30

morning all!

polly loving the tassles! Well we didn't manage anything last night, neither of us were in the mood so decided on a morning perk up instead....dd had other ideas and got into bed with us at 4am grrr. Oh well, might give it a go tonight but seeing as I've hit the can't be bothered stage I'm guessing it's too late!

There's still no wine in the house, I'm such a good girl [gritted teeth emoticon]...might pop to the shops later!

Lizkin · 15/10/2009 11:46

Hello fellow bussers,

I've climbed, bleeding, off the June bus and would like to join you. Was really disappointed when AF came this time, I was pretty convinced we'd done all the right things (pillow under bum etc), even had weird bitter taste in my mouth for several days. Am wondering: can strenuous activity (i.e. digging) dislodge a fertilised egg? Cos bitter taste disappeared after I did some digging in the garden and AF came the next day.
Anyway, perhaps it's for the best, despite me now being Officially Past It (just turned 35).

But here are my stats (thank you bunny):
Lizkin TTC1 cycle 7 UCL 28-32 CD5

Yummy scones, thanks LifeisTooShort (hmm, scones, cake, hmm, what have we got in the house...)
