Welcome Norky loving the name. Hope this is a successful bus for a lot of us this month. A few of us have been sitting on here eating cake for too long.

Not even sure I ovulated as no EWCM but pos OPK so who knows. Anyways couldn't bring myself to have sex again even the vibrating toy didn't do the trick. Oh well hubby back tomorrow might have sex for funs sake tomorrow!

Must admit it crossed my mind this morn when I made appt for DH's flu jab... Made mental note to research on t'internet, then immediately forgot.

Huh.. (sharp intake of breath)... maybe I am up the duff already and placenta head started?! lol

NO MORE SYMPTOM STOPPING.... garrrr Is only day 17, driving myself mad

lifeistooshort you have a point - there was a news article today about a Scottish lady who was pregnant and has died with swine flu. Thing is, the NHS are giving out shots for pregnant women but I don't suppose they'd be interested in us TTC...

Informed dh that morning sperm were better last night and he nearly cried, bless him. Something along the lines of... Oh God, I'm just getting the hang of constant sex, i'm rattling with vitamins and now I have to do it in the mornings. (wail wail) I suspect he might be leaving the house rather earlier than usual.

Welcome to all the newbies, seems June bus has come to a stop has it?

mouse sorry you are off the July bus,stay with us a while, and probably keep me a seat on the August bus. I'm sure we simply haven't had enough sex this month.

Hi all, RE the swine flu thing, just wanted to add what I know.

Doc knows I am neurotic about swine flu lol... but I asked her about it (when I had the coil out). She said if she was me she would have the jab preferably before she was pregnant. She had no hesitation of adding me to the list because I am trying to conceive, she also added my children, after I requested it ( they get bad chests and have inhalers but have never been formally diagnosed).

Im sure if you ask for it you'll get it.

mouse save me a seat too, just in case! I'm pretty certain that as I really don't want a september baby (due to dd starting school next sept) it'll be the law of sod that I catch in December

I'm a bit in the dark about the swine flu jab - is it available now? Or is this just the normal flu jab? I think I'll ask when I go in for bloods on Monday....

WWSW did you use Zestica last time TTC or did you get it more recently. Am wondering if all the old lube we used to use is one of the reasons we have been struggling. Hubby is using steroid cream as has probs riding bare back but still work in progress so we have to use lube or there will be no baby

Right - possibly a TMI question but if I can't ask you guys, who can I ask?!?

DH and I had unprotected sex last night for the first time since TTC 2 years ago, and my nether regions are giving off a really weird smell now (sorry!).

I don't know if this is normal or if I've managed to develop thrush or something overnight. Have no itching or soreness - just a strange odour.

Any ideas?

Lifeistoshort I've been thinking about this today. I will have the jab if I get pg while it's being offered to pg women, I think. Sounds like a good idea to ask for it as a TTCer, but I don't imagine many nurses would be as nice as that.

lou we didn't do any ttc last time! I came off the pill and 4 wks later was up the duff cue dh and "super sperm" boasting etc. The first couple of months this time we used normal lube til I read that it's the wrong ph and also slows sperm down. A friend recommended Preseed and on looking at that found Zestica which was a new product. Tbh it was on special offer

norky ha that's a lovely pre-dinner question . Sounds normal to me, I also have a different odour post sex. Well, I hope it's normal anyway....! Any others with the same thing?

hello mummy369! Welcome to the mad house! Just to keep the stats tidy [not obesessed at all emoticon] can you let us know if you are trying for dc 1,2,3 or more and what your usual cycle length is? Also is this your first month of trying? We're a nosy bunch

evening latest so please divulge, what symptoms are you making up this month? I've got sharp stabbing pains in my lower left abdomen. Going to numb them with a naughty glass of red I pinched from the back seats

I'm 36, TTC No3 and this is month 3 of trying.

Day 15 of cycle. UCL 31 days.

DH has been away all week and I have been praying that ovulation wasn't going to be early this week. So far OPK's are all -ve luckily and I'm expecting to ov Fri or Sat. So DH will be getting some this weekend

What do you ladies have in your 'special drawer'

thanks for the welcomes - am not confident that this is the month.... hope it is for other passengers!
got pregnant on cycle one with DS1, then decided to try again when he turned one, got pregnant on cycle one again, but at my scan at 13 weeks, it showed a MMC at 12 weeks... first period after miscarriage was a bit short, and I don't seem to have had any usual ovulation signs this month... so a single night - ok 10 mins - of passion on what would "normally" be ovulation day would seem pretty unlikely to have been a bullseye!!! Hey ho! Here's to better luck next month !!!
