well I decided yesterday (rightly or wrongly) I don't care i'm about 8DPO as well acording to persona but I haven't had a drink in sooo long, and last month I did everything by the book literally everything early nights no lifting etc and looked what happened, so now if I'm gonna be PG I will be!

like the idea of an easter baby as well - hhhmmmmm I can nick the choc eggs!

Debbsy · 25/06/2005 13:13

im with you there munz ive avoided lots of drink etc etc and look what happened to me so now im just living my life as normal.Ange huggge congratulations

angedemarche · 25/06/2005 13:20

Thanks everyone.
Like I have already said, my head is in a spin. Really didn't think it would happen this quickly.
I still have another question though. Yesterday I was at the dentist and they took a Xray of one of my front teeth.... is that really really bad???????

I will continue to be thinking of you all.
Hope your stays here will be short.
Will it be ok for me to continue to pop in?
Much Love XxX

spacecadet · 25/06/2005 13:52

wow congrats angedemarche!!!..really pleased for you, I would not worry about the x-ray,as it was your head being x-rayed, if you are worried maybe you could post a question in the preg section and mears may see it and be able to give you better advice

wendy11 · 25/06/2005 14:56

Angedemarche - Congratulations!! Look after yourself and enjoy the next 8 or so months

Munz - hows the hangover and hows the dog! That has reminded me that mine are due their boosters this month. Vet usually sends a card to the house adressed to the dogs - thankfully posite sees the funny side of it

Rom - enjoy your night out. Sometimes we need something to lift our minds from this whole ttc thing and there have been many on here that have had a belly full of wine and gone on to get their BFP's, so don't worry too much

Hark at me telling you not to worry when all I seem to be doing is worring. Have had a dull ache in my womb area all day and of course think the worst. Actually went to town and bought a pg test just to check again. Bought a real cheapy - Numark variety....2 tests for £3.99 - and still +ve. The test line is almost as dark as the control line so I will just have to try and remain calm and keep thinking that this little one is going to stick around. Still have one test left so may just be forced to do it in a week....... you know just to see

Catch up later.

spacecadet · 25/06/2005 15:01

eldestgirl · 27/06/2005 13:15

Hi there
I have been looking at these threads but didn't know where I was until now...
I am 35, trying for No 3, have 2ds, 4 and 2. Only managed 1 BD on CD14 (DH travels A LOT on business)
Today am on CD32
My cycle is normally 32 days. DH made me test this morning and it was a BFN. Am a bit annoyed as the last two times it has taken AGES to get a BFP so I knew it was probably a waste of time. Am resolved not to test again until Friday. It's so HARD!! Being patient. I don't have many symptoms, although my boobs feel bigger and tender, and discharge may have changed. You just don't want to think you are imagining it all...

munz · 27/06/2005 13:40

you and me both MM - can't wait, DH is away next month from the 18th so I need AF to be on time or I'll miss next month!

munz · 27/06/2005 13:42

EG - hiya and welcome to the mad house,

rom - where r u???? I have the choccy u like ! < waves it high in the air to get rom's attention.> what's this temp lark mean? am I normal?

also rang the gyno todya - they have the xrays of my head, and the dr's looking at them, so will ring again at the end of the week - hopefully they'll find a brain!

Cadmum · 27/06/2005 16:08

Munz: Xrays of your head?!?! Explain please.

Why is it so quiet here?

Romilly: Did you get a BFP and are too shy/apprehensive to share?

I had a really horrible experience of Saturday that really rocked my world... DS2 swallowed a marble and didn't cough it up until he was blue and limp. I was on the line with 911 (equivalent of 999) fearing for the worst because I really didn't know what had happened to him until he threw up and a marble bounced accross the floor. All I could tell was that he was unable to breathe and I suspected that he might have swallowed something but he was playing with Action Man at the time so I lacked context...
Horrible nightmare really. I am still shaking as I type this.
Thankfully, he is 100% himself with the added bonus of knowing that nothing other than food and toothpaste on his toothbrush is safe to put in his mouth. (He has been sharing this information with anyone who will listen including the priest yesterday in church--Bless him.)
I hope that you all had great week-ends and that you will be on here shortly to tell us all about it.

Frizbe · 27/06/2005 16:44

Soz guys I was lurking checking in on you - Cadmum that must have been a horrible shock, I can only imagine how you must be feeling {{{{Big Hugs}}}}, lets hope now he's done it once, he's learnt his lesson and don't worry it wasn't your fault.

dramaqueen72 · 27/06/2005 16:48

omg cadmum! I'm so sorry you had to deal with that! Glad ds is fine now, what a scare for you!

munz · 27/06/2005 16:52

oh cad mum (((((hugs)))) how horrible is he OK now?

they're doing an MRI (brain scan) to check on my paturity gland to make sure the hormones are now ok as I had a tumour of female hormones on it when I was small.

rom - did u test? r u due to test? how was the girlie night out? do I have to find u???

wendy11 · 27/06/2005 17:06

Cadmum - Oh how awful for you. Hopefully he will know now not to try anything like that again. My little cousin who is 5 likes to put things in his ears - obviously not as dangerous as in his mouth but still requires trips to A&E every now and again.

Munz - where are you in your cycle? How far did you temp drop yesterday? Temps usually go up after ov and tend to stay relatively high until the day or so before af when they drop back to pre ov type temps. Rom may be able to help you more.

Rom - where are you? Hope all is OK with you and it is just mountains of work that is keeping you from chatting.

Well when the hospital tells you to drink at least 2 litres of water a day after egg collection they do so for a reason and unfortunately I found out the hard way what hapens with lack of fluid. I developed slight ovarian hyperstimulation over the weekend and was in complete agony on my left side - the only thing I can equate it to is appendicitis - I would hate to find out what severe hyperstimualation is like. DH made me drink almost 4 litres of water yesterday and so far today I have another 2 down me - I reckon you could float the titanic in my tummy but at least it seems to be doing the trick as most of the pain had now gone.

wendy11 · 27/06/2005 17:15

One other things where has Piffle gone to? Anyone know anything about her?
