CADMUM!! i meant - so sorry!!!! that'll teach me for not previewing

wendy11 · 23/06/2005 12:12

Cadmum - great to see you back with us. How are things with you? Is DH still working away at the moment? Praying that things will work out for you very soon.

Rom - how are things today? High rating on FF is excellent!! Hope this is the one for you

Munz - sorry your results have not come through yet. The waiting is the hardest part. Are you recording your temps on Fertility Friend. I think Rom is the expert on temping so she may be aboe to give you some help.

George - time has really flown by - 13 weeks - I am sure you are glad to be at this stage and a to see a good heartbeat is brilliant news.

romilly · 23/06/2005 12:20

hi there wendy how are you feeling today? meant to ask you - did you have any symptoms other than the cramps which you thought were AF? ie. sore boobs, peeing often??? i ask because i never got any first time i was pg. until about 5 weeks.

yes munz - i can hopefully help you out with temping questions, but i was confused when you said your temps were still high so you put O back until CD17 - temps should stay high once you have seen the shift after Ov for at least three days to confirm OV. so what do you mean?

wendy11 · 23/06/2005 12:32

Rom -
I woke during the night feeling a bit sicky a couple of days before I tested but I put that down to nerves and I think it probably was as I haven't really felt that way since.
Needing to go to the loo a little more often but nothing noticable and boobs only really tender when I take my bra off at night and I don't think they have changed in size - I am not particularly well endowed in that department so any change would be noticable very quickly, but they do feel a bit heavier.
The only thing I have noticed is that I have heartburn - no matter what I eat I get heartburn. I have also taken an aversion to bananas. I would normally have eaten at least 2 a day but can't bear the smell of them at the moment. I have also noticed that (sorry tmi) my wee is very yellow in colour - something I remember from the last time.
From my last pg I remember having sore boobs even before my missed af but not feeling sick until about week 7 so I suppose it just goes to prove that every pg and it symptoms are different

How many dpo are you now? You have no idea how much I am willing you to join me this month.

HI EVERYONE I AM NEW TO THIS THREAD.
me and dp have been ttc for just over a year, i have kind of given up at the moment as had a false alarm for the last couple of months, i have a dd of almost 5 and we would really like a child together, we are getting married this october and it would make our lives complete.i am not sure about all this cd stuff but i got af on monday so feeling a bit down can anyone help me with charting as i am completly useless lol.

munz · 23/06/2005 13:23

afternoon all,

right i'm hungry my feet hurt, i'm having mega hormones today and hayfever's bad, to top it all of my partner in crime at work (and v v good friend/drinking buddy) is leaving so her replacement's in today for training luckily it's not me doing the training! anyhow glad that's out.

AM - hiya and welcome on in hope you're not here for too long. and u ask away on the questions that's what we're all here for.

Rom - right ok then I've been temping this cycle from the start mainly cos I want a few minutes longer in bed (god i'm so lazy!) lol, anyhow started off at 36.6 and stayed roughkly there abouts btween there and 36.4 anyhow, (in fact i'll paste a link and let u see.) fertility friend have changed the OV date to the 17th Day - so god know's don't think I should temp cos it's confusing! and basically I can't be arsed with the hassle! (or maybe that's just the hormones!) god I don't know what's wrong with me today - (apart from the heat!!!!!!) it's TOOOOOOOOO HOTTTTTT!!! :O DH is being a better as I say so there's hope for him yet!

URGGGGGHHH the bloody phone keeps ringing!!!!!

munz · 23/06/2005 13:29

rom - could u have a look for me cos I'm really confused by it all.

munz chart

romilly · 23/06/2005 14:03

munz - can you try that link again - its not bringing your chart up.

hi charlee

welcome to the thread aali'smum - as munz said, ask anything you want and we will try and help.

wendy - i am 6dpo - so it seems like ages off[impatient disgruntled emoticon!] i would love to be on the ante-natal thread with you as well. (obviously!!) i think you are right, symptoms do vary i guess, and unfortunately with women's bodies we seem to always be having symptoms - pregnant or not. i can always conjure up the nausea symptom - but its more likely to be due to eating too much and as for the peeing one, well we are all downing so much water in this heat that i am not going to read too much into that one.

munz · 23/06/2005 14:27

rom - this is the bit form the top bar

ttc.fertilityfriend.com/ttc/index.php failing that my log on is tinks, and the p/w is 1a2b. (a1b2) can't remeber which way around

ta for looking hon. good luck for you this month.

Cadmum · 23/06/2005 14:29

Hello!
A few brief answers before RL sweeps me away again: DH is still in NY, NY. He has extended his contract for a further 90 days and it is a 95% certainty that he will be offered a permanent postition but in the mean time the money was too great for him to turn down the additional 90 days. I was gutted at first but, C'est la vie. At least I now have some adult contact via mumsnet, right?!
I am on CD 21 and was crushed that the only EWCM I had this month was the day before DH was home for the week-end. The only small glimmer of hope is that there was still some first thing in the morning on the day he got here at 11pm and so I continue to delude myself into thinking that all is not lost for this cycle. I have never been very good at the temping scene because I rarely get 3 hours of sleep in a row but I tried for the last three months and there was no temp rise following the EWCM so I just gave up because it was TOO discouraging.
DH will be home next week-end but I suspect that AF will be here as well! Now I just need to convince him to come 2 weeks after that as well... Shouldn't take much convincing I hope.

My mum is doing brillintly! She was here for 10 days in May and she has more energy than she has had for 20 or so years. She looked great and had a great time with my children.

Hereshoping's last post on the due in December thread made it sound as though she is having a rough go of it and feared for the worst... I am worried about her.

Cadmum · 23/06/2005 14:31

I wonder why they offer preview as an option?!!!? I shall give that a whirl next time; sorry for the typos!

romilly · 23/06/2005 14:44

hey cadmum - does anyone ever preview? lifes too short for previewing IMO, LOL! we dont mind the odd typo - or even loads of typos for that matter wonderful news about your mother. sounds like you might just be in with a chance this month, you never know. great to have you back anyhow.

munz - had a looksie at your chart, all looks fine, i know why ff has moved your line to CD17 -it seems to be because you have noted EWCM for a couple of days after CD14 - and it seems your two readings on those days were "circled" (ie. discarded - probably due to being taken at different times than usual, or drinking alcohol) therefore they have estimated your Ov on your CM readings and not your temps. have you been taking your temps at irregular times?

munz · 23/06/2005 14:46

nope always at 7.10-15 am, apart from on the w/e when it's about 8.30 ish I think but no later than that normally. what was confusing was persona said I OV'ed on CD14.

romilly · 23/06/2005 14:59

munz - i have just e-mailed you, i only just picked up your email from weeks ago! so sorry - thats how busy i have been, not even checking my emails.

re: your chart - the later times at weekends would be circled as inaccurate times so i wonder if that was the weekend. interesting that persona thought it was CD14 from your LH surge. did you register PEAK on monitor with ff? i will just go check back on your chart....

romilly · 23/06/2005 15:03

munz - yes it was a weekend! so your temps were definitely discarded because of your lie-in (LOL)
i reckon you may well have Ov'd earlier, ie CD14 or 15 - and they have just gone on your cervical mucus readings. did you enter the monitor details?

munz · 23/06/2005 15:08

nope (i'm not a VIP person!) lol, in 14 months of trying this is the second time i've done tempin and the first time I stopped after about 4 days thru shear laziness!

Cadmum · 23/06/2005 15:10

Rom: What CD are you on? Munz?

munz · 23/06/2005 15:16

i'm 20 althou this month we've baerly been talking and BD besdies which we decided to give it a rest from TTC for a while, I just want to be sure when we start next month I catch straight away!

romilly · 23/06/2005 17:28

cadmum - i'm CD16 and 6dpo (ovulated v. early this month) which i am pleased about as it means less of the heinous 2ww.

munz - thks for e-mail, i look on here more than in my e-mail - how sad is that! i am sure you Ov'd earlier than CD17, even if only by a day - when do you normally ovulate?

munz · 23/06/2005 17:40

rom - anywhere between CD12-14 but after the M/C wasn't sure if i'd even OV this month, looks like my body has decided it want's a beanie! not normally late thou, althou last month's must have been after CD14 as that's when I ran out of POAS's, and I managed to get my BFP - even thou it didn't stick.

Frizbe · 23/06/2005 19:25

Thanks again for the congrats girls.

Blueberry and Trix, things are sounding promising for you, I shall be checking avidly over the weekend for your results {{{Hugs}}}

Frizbe · 23/06/2005 19:26
