So...looks like it's lots of French red wine and dodgy cheese and pate for me next week then!! no bad thing really!! Positive that I have the start of AF today on CD26 - so I'm not sure what's going on as in the past 3 months I've had cycles of 31, 36 and 26 days respectively. Any clues anyone? A bit mad I know but since I always used to have 28 day cycles pre dd (now 21 months), I'm just a bit concerned that my hormones aren't quite right.

Going to the doctors on Friday morning to ask him about a strange rash I have on the palms of both my hands. Pretty convinced it's a allergy of some kind but getting it checked out all the same. I think i might also take the chance to see if he hcan shed any light on my irregular cycle lengths....

afternoon all,

well my temps have shot right up today (i'm giving it a whirl of temping whilst we're not TTC) althou I am feeling a tonne better about it all and have decided to try from next cycle and just relax hopefully it will happen.

the MRI was to check the goings on with my paturity (sp) gland which I had mega troubles (a tumour) on when I was small and they just want to make sure all's ok with it still. as of yet thou no results asre back so have to try next week.

munz · 22/06/2005 12:51

DH recon's they'll find out i'm a pyscho without a brain! lol.

dramaqueen72 · 22/06/2005 15:18

wendy11 · 22/06/2005 18:03

Hello All

Another beautiful day here so made the most of it and spent some time lounging around.

I got my scan date through today for the 8th July so just sitting tight and hoping and praying that everything will be OK.

Hope everyone is OK today. It has been quiet on here recently - you must all be on holiday or busy BD'ing . Take care everyone

BlueberryPie · 22/06/2005 19:08

Hi all,

Don't know if anyone remembers me from further down the thread - I've been busy for a while

BIG congratulations to Wendy and Frizbe Well done girls!

I'm testing this weekend - I'm kind of hopeful because there are lots of weird things going on with my body. I have this constant ache in my lower back, my gums bleed when I brush my teeth and I keep waking up at 5 in the morning which is VERY unlike me. And I didn't even know these were symptoms until I looked them up! But you never know, I suppose...I'll be keeping my fingers crossed all week!

Anyway, quick question: I want to get a pedicure this weekend - is this safe, if I happen to be pregnant? Does anyone know? I'm just worried about fumes and increased bloodflow I suppose.

Sorry for rambling on!

xxxx Pie

angelsfield · 22/06/2005 20:55

Hi Pie,

getting a pedicure should be fine and good luck with testing. When is af due? have you tested yet?

Congratulations to Wendy and Frizbe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am so happy for you

Trix1 · 22/06/2005 21:21

Hi Pie - Im testing with you then.

Is sore gums a sign of pregnancy as I have had sore gums today since brushing my teeth which I never had.

Excuse my ignorance but how is waking up at five a sign because I have been waking up erly like that but put it down to the birds and the heat.

Im getting excited.

charleepeters · 22/06/2005 21:38

Good Luck Pie and TRix

RachelRog · 22/06/2005 22:01

trix - think blueberrypie might be waking up to have a wee and getting up during the night to wee is a sign of pregnancy......think that is what she means!

Trix1 · 22/06/2005 22:15

Oh I am a dope

Doh yes I have been getting up to use the toilet. Oh I think I am just looking for symptons now.

Cadmum · 23/06/2005 05:58

Wendy: I am SO happy for you! CONGRATULATIONS!

Romilly: I am crushed that you are still waiting for your order. Sorry seems like a meaningless thing to say but I am genuinely sorry that you are still in the TTC game. I read through the entire orderyourbaby thread and I was really gutted when I read that you did not get the big BFP. I will pray that we end up on the same ante-natal thread. (Still no news and not many opportunites for us in that dept.)

Harizieb: Thanks for letting me know where to find you all. My ears must indeed have been ringing! (If I get a vote on the Canada issue, I would live in Vancouver for a million years over Toronto for a week! That is rather biased as I am not a big Ontario fan and Toronto is such a big city. I was born in B.C. lived there until I was 24 and I have been longing to move back ever since!)

Bella: Been thinking of you. Sorry that it has been rough lately.

Munzie: Hello again. Keep your chin up and make me laugh again, will you? Please?

Forgive me for not doing more catch up but my eyes are burning from all of the reading and it is well past my bedtime.

Cadmum · 23/06/2005 06:13

This is maybe not the right place to voice my concern but I am worried about Hereshoping. Her last post was following a bleed in May.. Anyone know anything? DQ? Nemo? My heart is breaking for her.

Debbsy · 23/06/2005 08:33

blueberry trix best of luck for testing this weekend hi cadmum nice to hear from you again no sorry not heard from heres shopping in ages ill have a look to see if i can find her for you.Me on cd17 now so well and truly in 2 week wait dh and i bd a lot this mth and not alays at ov time (must be the sun) ha ha ooooh and i forgot to tell you all im going to live aid next sat my bessy mate won tickets

Debbsy · 23/06/2005 08:48

no cadmum sorry i cant find her her last post was 23rd may 05 on the due in dec thread.

george32 · 23/06/2005 09:10

Frizbe, don't think I have congratulated you yet. So pleased for you.
Welcome back Cadmum
Bella so good to see you posting too I hope that this sunshine is doing you good and you are feeling brighter. I miss having us all nattering away on the same thread. Hope you are making the most of your lovely new garden now.
Wendy, I'm glad to hear you are taking it easy.
Rom, hurrah!! A high rating on FF, that takes some doing. Must be all this sunshine
All fine with me, 13 weeks today and a lovely strong heartbeat still thumping away.

Cadmum, I haven't seen Hereshoping for a while either but I seem to remember that she did post quite infrequently sometimes. I hope that she is just having a break for a while. Maybe we should do a thread somewhere for her in case she is lurking still so she knows we are thinking of her.

StarryEyed · 23/06/2005 09:15

Morning girls

I am feeling a little better today. The weather helps. Isn't it glorious? Pity I have to be in work though!

I am on CD23, AF due between 28 and 30 June so we shall wait and see. I have a summer ball tomorrow which I am really looking forward to? Tell me do you think I should have a glass of wine. I have been very good with abstaining from alcohol but I did have a glass of champagne last Sat as we were at friends and they had opened a very special bottle. Didn't want to be a party pooper. What do you think?

I figure I might be waiting a long time and it is a shame not to be able to have one glass at a ball. Would welcome views.

munz · 23/06/2005 10:50

morning all

cad - great to see u back hon! (((hugs))) what's happening your end? will look for a joke or two for u hon.

well temp's are all over the place - with my peeing on a stick it says OV on CD14 with the temps it says first of I ove'd on CD 14 but now say's CD17 cos they're are still so high, not that it reall matters eitehr way as we're not BD'ing as we're too knackered to even think about it. still at least we're talking now which is good.

anyone have any ideas with temps?

romilly · 23/06/2005 12:11

dadmum - a massive warm welcome back to you! we missed you, as you can see you weren't forgotten. what is your news? how is d/h getting on with his job in NY? have you managed to find a few weekends to see each other? how is your mother? i hope she's doing well. so much to catch up on! yes, i'm afraid i am still here, much to my annoyance! i had planned to be on that thread with all our old friends: george, dqueen and nemo...still, - as a great pal of mine always says to me "tell god your plans and make him laugh" it is great news about wendy though, that cheered me up no end. look forward to chatting with you cadmum

wendy honey - 8th july is not so far off! how exciting (and nerve-racking at the same time!)
is d/h waiting on you hand and foot i hope so.

dqueen and george - lovely to hear from you guys, george - that is wonderful that you have reached the 2nd trimester and 13 weeks, fab!! seems to have gone quickly (probably not to you!)

munzie hunzie, so please d/h is now behaving himself knew he would come around.

debbsy - enjoy live aid next sat!

starryeyed - same dilemma as you myself, have to go to a big party this sat. i am going to do my utmost not to drink (and believe me that wont be easy ) but i soooooooooooooooooo soooooo want this to be my month that i am going to give it my best shot. fertility friend website advises not to.
