debbsy - good luck with gynae appt. tomorrow, hope all is well.

frizbe - vat return - eeeewww - hate the things, have a glass of wine while you're doing it, eases the boredom, but dont do a "hula" and spill it all over the forms

handbag - yep - im still on the choc. but am going for the most expensive chocolate i can find so that i dont eat too much of it - needless to say it doesnt work, i still tuck in like a stealth bulimic and then want more 5 mins later

wendy - interesting about those statistics (and you know how i love statistics, LOL). dare i ask how many dpo you are on now? i want this to be your month every bit as much as i want it to be mine, and i mean that sincerely.

munzie honey - is d/h behaving today? damn well hope so or send him on here and we'll have words...

charlee - glad gp was helpful and you are getting infection treated. so painful those things. dont feel guilty about being sad after 2 months, ttc is hard the whole way along the line i hate to say, time means nothing.

trix - cant find your dpo question but i temp if you want to ask anything i will try and help.

as for me, so horribly busy at work all day - only just got back - but the silver lining is that i have not had time to think about me AT ALL, so no stressing or obsessing for the past few days, maybe that will help as long as im not too knackered to actually do the deed

romilly · 15/06/2005 20:32

Hi Handbag House is now on market again, so waiting till we get back form holiday to worry again. We are off to France on Monday. Where in France are you going to?

Munz ? hope you are okay today. Take care.

Hello to everyone today. No news to report here; just gone into the 2ww.

sparkly · 15/06/2005 23:14

Hi everyone - have been away for a few days - so much to catch up with.

I've been really poorly since Saturday - finally went to the dr's today because not eaten since Sat and kept anything down and he didn't seem to care. I've lost my voice from all the throwing up - makes speaking on the phone at work somewhat challenging! Gave me some tablets for ulcers without really listening. Was annoyed and definitely won't be taking them. DP and I rowing, dd's dad and I rowing, so all around bad time here.

In the 2ww but no hope as didn't do any bd'ing over the weekend because dp away Fri/Sat and then I was poorly ... so roll on AF and next month I guess.

Charlee, sorry to hear about AF.

Hula - hope you enjoy your holiday - really envious, I need a break. Hope the flat sells quickly this time.

Good luck to anyone testing or waiting!

morning everyone, just want to say deb don't worry about today at our first gyno apt everyhting was mainly questions about our history and OV times etc i I knew then, the DR did an internal and took swobs or STI's, (standard pratice here) then had blood took and also she gave me an apt for a HSG scan. waited 2 weeks b4 having all the results, took about a hour half in total.

good luck.

Will add more later on once i've been for my scan myself, CP - which scan did u have for the DR to see u have an egg waiting to be realeased?

charleepeters · 16/06/2005 08:33

i just had a normal ultrasoud i think like the one you have when your pg with the gell on your stomach and that probe thinggy. she just said the ovary was enlarged and there were signs that an egg was waiting to be released. i couldnt see anything but i never can on those things.

munz · 16/06/2005 08:39

ooh thanks CP, that's what i'm having donw this morning and the bloomin MRI this afternoon (least that's in a poooosh private hospital! ) will ask the person this morning if she'll check my overy as well then whilst she's in the region. I'm expecting to hear everything has gone, but it woiuld be nice to know if the overy is ok and fully functional.

gtg now, will be on around 11 hopefully.

charleepeters · 16/06/2005 08:40

good luck x

Hi girls

So much for having my DH on standby. Things are VERY busy at work and he came in at 10pm last night and was too exhausted to do the deed and I felt I couldn't jump on him again so no BDing last night. I think I OVed on 14 June and did BD twice that day but you never know do you? Not terribly hopeful so we will see.

I hate being in a desperate rush every month around OV time - if only we had the time to spend trying to get pregnant I wouldn't be in such a state every month but hey ho. Couldn't start TTC earlier because I was on medication until Jan which could have been lethal for a baby. Was given the go ahead in March to start TTC but DH only agreed to give it a go in April. I wish I could have started much earlier.

Sorry for the moan but I did so want to have a March baby like my DD but not very hopeful now. Roll on the 2WW.

Will catch up with all of you later. Have to start work now or will be fired!!

Dana · 16/06/2005 09:48

Good luck with your appointments today, Debbsy and Munz.

Sparkly, sorry to hear you have had such a bad time. Sounds horrible with your sickness. Are you feeling any better now? Your dr sounds shocking - does he know for sure that you have an ulcer, otherwise don't take the tablets!!
Nothing worse than a doctor who appears not to care.

Going on my holidays tomorrow. Hope to come back to lots of BFP's

munz · 16/06/2005 12:11

well girls,

today's not to bad really, the scan - well what scan! they did a test (BFN of course) and concluded from that I didn't need a scan as nothing was obviously left as I'd not had bleedin (apart form light spotting) and crampin g since last weekend. was a bit upset really, and feeling like no one cared in the hospital. anyhow MRI later on so hopefully they'll find my brain!

piff - did u test yet? fingers crossed for u still!

deb - how did u go today?

rom - well we're talking at least and being civil, managed to do the deed last night, it was really painful and uncomfortable but we'll take things slowly and see how we go, not fully ready for the trying lark, which is good as my POAS have come up with nothing again - may reset persona next month. DH is being a bit better than he was (think lack of sleep didn't help) ew'll see how we go after today's scan. althou i've decided today I don't want anymore internals of tests run after this one, i've had enough of being poked and prodded. apart from that things are picking up a bit. DB is visiting todya which will be nice.

friz - wanna come do our VAT? it's due end of July! please i'll give u choccy!

charleepeters · 16/06/2005 12:16

Glad to here it wasnt to bad munz - i know how you feel by the hospital not seeming to care, i had a horrible man as my gynocologist when he did an internal he could find and swabs so used scissors with cotton wool on the end! it was so uncomfortable! then when he finally declared a m/c he said - i bet your glad???? i was so angry i didt catch his name or i would have complained, he immediatly thought becasue i was young i was glad my baby had died

Anyway munz did you get them to check your ovarys??

OP posts:
munz · 16/06/2005 12:24

nope they didn't do anyhting apart from a test, was thinking of complaining actually after last weeks episode of leaving me sat on the bed (after taking 2 bottle of blood) with the needle still in my arm whilst saying oh just sit still cos we need another bottle (then promptly goin ouit of the room to fetch the bottle coming back 5 mins later) I nearly kicked the cowanne during the internal. and she didn't have a clue.

munz · 16/06/2005 12:25

not to mention hardly spoke english (and I know that doens't matter but it did to me last week) normally i'm not fussed.

wendy11 · 16/06/2005 12:32

Hello everyone

Have been feeling really low today. It is 2 weeks today since egg collection and I had the most terrible stomach cramps and backache last night and thought af would have arrived by this morning. After a sleepless night thankfully there is no sign of af although still not sure how to feel. Findin it very dificult to keep positive at the moment.

wendy11 · 16/06/2005 12:33

Sorry that was a bit moany will try to post more poitive thoughts later

munz · 16/06/2005 12:40

oh wend (((((hugs)))))))

as long as it doesn't come there's hope remember that. when do u go back to the hosp?

Diddle · 16/06/2005 13:05

charleepeters - had to comment on your useless doctor, can't believe he did that. Saying that i didn't even get and internal or a scan with my first m/c. Hospitals are naff sometimes.

Debbsy · 16/06/2005 13:32

wendy everything crossed for you hun try not to worry too much your in gods hands now.:.Munz how did you go on? Well we went on ok even though i was really scared he said i was ovulating everything normal with bloods,he said the cyst that i had an the appendics op wouldnt interfere with everything ive now got to go back to hospital on cd1 for a hysterosalpingogram to check my tubes and dh sperm tests well thats a different story,we explained we had been on the waiting list since april and heard nothing so he rang them up the reason being they have no embryologist at the clinic in stoke on trent and and have been waiting to recruit someone since march with no one as yet.But there is another private hospital in crewe where they do the test and it costs £88.00 so we are going for that save waiting as we dont know how long it will be and they are bound to have a back log of people. The guy was v nice though and knew his stuff. But i still feel v emotional today and dont know why!

Frizbe · 16/06/2005 13:33

Hi all

Dana have a nice hols

Munz glad things seemed to go okish this am, although I'm joining you in being a bit disgusted at their quick attitude.....oh and no thanks to the VAT!!! even with chocky bribary, got enuff going on here with that, yuk, yuk, yukkity, yuk...Hope the MRI is ok?

CP can't believe they said that what a cow of a doc...

Wendy keep on smiling thru girl, its horrible when you don't know whats happening in there {{Hugs}} only 3 days and you can test.

Well when I got out of bed this morning dh said to me, are you pregnant? I asked why and he said your boobs and body have changed? bloody 'ell thinks I, being a week off testing n all that, but I have to say and this may be me trying to convince myself, my boobs feel fuller, and when I brushed my teeth, my gums started bleeding, which they haven't done since I was pregnant with dd, so ? I now have a week of not knowing to get thru, ARGH!!!

Debbsy · 16/06/2005 13:34

wendy the ... was meant to be a smile so here you go

Frizbe · 16/06/2005 13:34

Oh debsey, that's good news then at least your on your way to finding out some answers {{{{Hugs}}}} I hope things work out for you soon.

munz · 16/06/2005 13:35

u had to wait for a sperm test since april? OMG how crappy is that? move to wales hon, here it's done at home and rushed to the hospital for analysis in 1/2 hour. then results take 2-3 days ish.

the HSG is nothing to worry about bit uncomfortable (feel like u need to pee and poo the tube going in is a bit odd but on the whole it's not too bad) take some pain killers b4 u have the x ray thou. I was lucky to have mine within 8 days of ringing them up.
