well Itested today with FMU and FR and got a BFN so wait for stupid period to arrive slap bang on time on Saturday.

Am going looking for the June bus, is there one yet?

congrats beans good luck for a healthy 9 mths.

Good luck to everyone else waiting to test.

MrsRigby · 02/09/2009 21:59

liahgen I'm on the June bus.

First April, then May and now the June bus - SERIOUSLY .

HarryJoesMummy · 02/09/2009 22:05

Thanks snowbunny and mrsr - we'll wait and see.

snowbunny I think you are only one day behind me - we only tried three days this month as well - CD 11, 12 and 13 - but OPK showed my surge on CD12 which is a lot earlier than I thought (first month of using them). We were planning to BD on CD 14 and 15 as well but I fell asleep on CD 14 and then decided that we had missed the boat this month so didn't really push anything on CD15. So I didn't think we had a chance this month either (and mostly I still think I don't have a chance) but as DH says, it only takes one....

Aargh I am going slowly mad...

Beanmum · 02/09/2009 22:17

Yay for you meanbean

Just updating again to fill in a couple more minutes of the 4 DAYS before I can test.

Hope your cycle sorts itself out soon tobago - good luck to you.

Beanmum · 02/09/2009 22:35

Not at all, Mrs R - is 33 days loads longer than usual for you? Sorry you're having such a long wait, it's totally excruciating.

MrsRigby · 02/09/2009 22:44

Tell me about it beanmum, so far I've wasted 6 Clearblues waiting for my period .

The longest I've ever gone is 32 days.

Adoption will be easier than TTC and DH is happy to adopt. I'll give it 1 more cycle - if I get another cycle.

I can't complain not when sunshine15 is on CD53 - THATS LIKE 2 MONTHS. Have you run out of tampons/sanitary pads yet sunshine15.

They should be prescribed free on the NHS. It's not like we asked to be born women or have periods.

I'm going to bed, I've waited up long enough for DH.

sayanything · 03/09/2009 08:17

Good morning all and thanks again for your kind wishes. Since I'm the first poster today, I'll do the list honours, but I have a question:

I'm ridiculously spotty, quite like period spotting, but worse and I still have 10 days to go before I get my period. Could this be a sign or is it just my bloody luck a week before my wedding?

Ha, ha, ha - sayanything I took so long updating the list, you beat me to it .

Maybe your going to have a really lovely wedding present .

Loujalou · 03/09/2009 08:52

Have been nauseous and had funny taste in mouth so thought it might be a sign well its a sign I had a cold coming! Argh.

Oh well period not due til Tuesday so got a long way to go.

pigleychez · 03/09/2009 08:53

morning all.

CD23 for me today.
My list of symptoms\aliments :

Constant Backache for the past few days
Headaches
tummy grumbles
Tight feeling across my chest and top of boobs (had something similar with DD but not this intense)
Hot and light headed feelings.

Make of them what you will.. Im divided into two camps... First happy that "maybe" and the other of not getting excited only to be disappointed

May test at the weekend if im brave enough!

fingers crossed for everyone

Sayanything- Spots can be a sign. I remeber being abit spotty with DD and I never get spots. Actually do have a little one on my cheek Thankfully its hidden under all my freckles!

Also at sunshine. Id be going crazy by now!

bluesnowfalcon · 03/09/2009 09:20

Hi all - just wanted to drop in - now back at work so harder to make time to post!

I gave in this morning and did an ebay cheapy but got a BFN so guess I'll have to wait for the weekedn to come and see if AF arrives or not

Good luck to everyone else who is due to test soon we need some more graduates!

MrsRigby · 03/09/2009 11:49

Yeh, I dopn't know why, but I decided to use up the last Clearblue so that in future there was none left lying about to tempt me - BFN .

aideesmum · 03/09/2009 13:38

Hi all,

Congrats to all the BFP's.

I'm out for May as AF arrived last week - not been on here for a little while. I'll probably linger on the June bus.

Baby dust to all

Meanbeansmum · 03/09/2009 14:38

Mrs Rigby, my friend has 100 day cycles(PCOS), she lost loads of weight and took angus castus, she got a 33 day cycle and a bfp! Her little miss is two now! Miracles do happen! On the other hand my sister adopted and has a beautiful daughter. Whatever is right for you will happen. I beleive!!!! Hugs.x

Sorry to all who have had bfn and af, wishing you all the best on the June bus.xxx

Clearblue are sooooooo expensive! They must be raking it in with all of us, POAS addicts lol!

Ladylou83 · 03/09/2009 16:37

WARNING

RANT TIME RANT TIME RANT TIME

Feeling bloody crap today! Took a HPT and got nothing other than a BFN. Been in such a bad mood today, do not know what has come over me. Went to well known DIY shop to get bathroom sealant and pretty much tore my DH a new whole with how badly I lost it at him. Poor bloke, all he asked was how I was feeling.

Other than the bad mood I have had no AF symptons, and no PG symptoms.

QUESTION TIME:

Does anybody else always get a cold when AF is due? This is second month in a row where I have come down with flu/cold crap just as AF is due.

Beanmum · 03/09/2009 18:51

Oh ladylou, sorry you're having a crap time. Fwiw, think losing it every so often when ttc and facing bfns is totally normal, think we've all been there. I haven't noticed getting colds with period, just generally feeling washed out and grumpy.

Another rant coming - am also in a terrible mood, as really unwisely folded and did an internet cheapie today, only to get a bfn. Have been totally convinced I was pg this month, as have literally ticked all the boxes - queasiness, very tingly and full boobs, tiredness, flutterings in tummy... I can't believe it's all in my head - it doesn't happen every month, as last time I knew I wasn't pg and didn't have any symptoms at all. Am only 9dpo so (I know, I know)might just be too early, although had got a bfp by this stage with ds. Feeling very very glum and trying to fight off the fear that something's not right. end of rant

Anyway, any more news today? Hope the rest of you are managing to resist POAS better than me...

Medee · 03/09/2009 19:46

I'm holding off POASing until beginning of next week. We go on holiday then, and if I am would like to know before I go, but lack of period isn't necessarily a sign, as last month I was 42 days.

lucylev · 03/09/2009 19:56

am re testing again at the weekend, am fed up and grumpy just want my period to hurry up if im not

30ish · 03/09/2009 20:06

Me too Beanmum - I think all my pregnancy symptoms are in my head too - back ache, snsitive to smells, nausea, bloated full feeling (I must be neurotic)! So unfair! Feel as though AF is on her way and have not been very nice to DH! By my calculations my period due on Wednesday although according to the mn ovulation calculator it's due on Tuesday! My cycle is 28 days and the first day of my cycle was 12th August. I am wrong or is the ovulation calculator wrong? Isn't the first day of your period the first day of your cycle?

Firerise · 03/09/2009 20:14

Hello,

Congratulations on the BFP Meanbeans!

I have resisted cracking open the FR so far this week.

I have had really bad cramps all week to the extent I keep nipping to the loo to see if I have come one but nothing (TMI?). I'm sure it is never like this normally before my period starts but am not sure whats in my head anymore.

DH wants us to do a test tomorrow morning as I will then be on day 30 of 30.

Beanmum & Ladylou - hope you both feel better and have good days tomorrow xx

Ladylou83 · 03/09/2009 20:55

Big Hugs Beanmum and lucylev

DH is making me apple pie to cheer me up, bless him. Surprised he is talking to me.

30ish I wondered if the mn calendar was correct too. I hope it is, there are enough of us following it . Feels like a bit of a guessing game really...

Good luck Firerise if you do test 2moro, fingers crossed for you.

The smell of the apple pie cooking is growing, yummy!!!! Lets hope it is laced with baby dust. (or if there is no baby dust, then let it trigger the fat woman in her red dress)

MrsRigby · 03/09/2009 20:59

Evening.

aideesmum see you on the June thread.

meanbeansmum 100 day cycles! I'll give it until CD50 and then I'm going to get the doctor to indue a period. If I'm not pregnant by the end of the year, I'm getting the gynaecologist to prescribe Clomid. One way or the other I will get pregnant again .

ladylou83 and beanmum I'm glad I'm not the only one in a mood today. You rant all you like, it's about time some one took over from me. ladylou83 if and when I get a period, I always notice that my bed is comfier than usual.

I POAS this morning and got a BFN. Not suprising really, I know I'm not pregnant - I just did it to get rid of the last Clearblue that was tempting me .

30ish yes, CD1 is the day your period starts.
