Evening all,

Meanbeans - Good luck & fingers crossed for you! Its sounds v promising, can't wait to hear more tomorrow!

sayanything - hope you get the wedding present you're wishing for and hope all goes perfectly for the big day! Its 3 years since I got married and I still wish I could just live the same day over and over agains so enjoy and try to memorise every second!

MrsR, the inlaws sound really bad, why are DH's so blind to it all??!! I really don't know what I would do if I were you...maybe subtly ask his mum what her inlaws were like when she was bringing up a baby and see if she gets it? Not very good at this sort of thing, I always bottle out of saying all the things I want to say to my FIL when he is being his delightful self. One day I'll say all the things I have planned to say!

Right, having a head ming! Since BFN on sunday I have been veering wildly between absolutely positive I am about to start my period any second to asking my DH to feel if my boobs feel bigger to him and allowing myself to get carried away with wishing that maybe just maybe. This is my first month of trying and I have turned from a perfectly sane person into a total obsessive crazy person. If this takes a couple of years to do then I will be (even more of) a blathering idiot. Not due to come on for another 2 days...might do another cheeky little FR 2mrw morning. Happy POAS to all those who are xxx

sweetkitty · 01/09/2009 22:15

meanbean - here is my tried and tested way to find out if you are pregnant using a ebay cheapie, collect and either get your other half to pee in other jug OR use water, dip two tests at the same time and compare ANY line on your test is a BFP IME

Remember I had 2 BFNs before I got a BFP last week

I am having a heart attack now, I swear I look about 4 months gone, usually I have a flat tummy wee bit wrinkly after 3 kids but flat but since last week I have looked so bloated and fat I feel like I have put on half a stone, it may be all the chocolate I am eating then tonight DP says "maybe it's twins" so so so not funny

Meanbeansmum · 01/09/2009 22:34

SK, you are a genius! Getting dh to poas now.....soooo funny! He's ressting but I'll get my way lol. I bet you look great ;)

Meanbeansmum · 01/09/2009 22:42

Well I am pleased to announce that Dh is NOT pg and that I am lol! His test is stark white! Yay!

Sending babydust to all still on the may bus.xxx

sayanything · 01/09/2009 22:52

Congratulations meanbeansmum (and lol at your DH POAS), that's fantastic news!

Thank you for all your kind wishes for my wedding, I can't believe it's less than two weeks away. My DP is on his knees praying I'm pregnant because he can't handle the thought of my raging PMS colliding with the stress of the final week before the wedding. I pity him too tbh.

Loujalou, I'm half Greek Cypriot and my DP is Greek but lived in the US all his life, so it's a double whammy of Big Fat Greek Wedding-ness. Amazing you got away with only having 80 guests, we're having 260 and there have been tears, tantrums, rending of garments, the works.

SnowBunny1 · 01/09/2009 23:00

meanbeansmum

Congratulations, I'm really excited for you and love that you managed to get your DH to test too If only we could get them to share the rest of the pain too

Ladylou83 · 02/09/2009 00:47

Meanbean defo looks like a line! Wow! Good luck with the next test. Massive fingers crossed that it gets loads darker!!!

Kaystar · 02/09/2009 06:27

Congratulations meanbeansmum - super news! Great to have another BFP - let's hope for many more this month! Bet your DH was pleased to see that he's not pregnant - lol!

Good luck with the wedding sayanything. I know it will be a fabulous day, despite all the tears and tantrums beforehand We got married at the end of May and it was just the best day - we both woke up the next morning and said we wanted to do it all over again Everything just comes together magically and it is great to be surrounded by friends and family - although we were only 60, so we weren't as surrounded as you will be

pigleychez · 02/09/2009 08:43

Meanbean- CONGRATULATIONS! Thats fab news.
How funny if DH got a line too! lol

Sayanything- I was so stressed in the final days but on the day everyone was so suprised how chilled I was... Despite the flowers being late, an Usher getting lost and having a massive hailstorm in the morning!
I overheard my mum asking my dad why I wasnt crying ( because on the rain) and my dad replying, Just go with it!
Just enjoy the day... It will go soooo quickly!

mummydemma · 02/09/2009 09:11

MeanBean Congratulations! and commiserations to your DH on his BFN

Mampam He can be, but I won't be telling him what you said , if he starts to believe it I will be in real trouble!

sweetkitty · 02/09/2009 10:49

meanbean - yey so glad my experiment worked I used to be a scientist you see, congratulations to you both (well not to your DH on his BFN )

sayanything - good luck with all the final wedding prep, Love the Big Fat Greek Wedding, now a little BFP would be a nice wedding present

firerise - you could be testing too early you impatient thing (wouldn't catch me doing that

Right who is for the next September BFP?

MrsRigby · 02/09/2009 11:11

Morning everyone

I estimate I'm now on CD33 and still no period . I'm not pregnant, I've finally accepted that, so give me my sodding period already. Aarghhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

snowbunny1 the last time DH and I went camping, we were woken up by the couple in the next tent having sex .

claireinthecommunity see you on the June bus.

loujalou and pigleychez DS has 4 teeth on top and 2 on the bottom and he's only 10 months. Thank christ I stopped breastfeeding him (ouch). Don't talk to me about sleepless nights, you'd think he was a newborn the way he is behaving and DS too for that matter!

immaterialgirl I want to be a stay-at-home mum more than anything. DH keeps telling me I have to go back for the money, but I just don't think it's worth it. Going back 3 days so thats about £600 month, but then DS nursery will be about £400 month and then there's travel to work of £60 month. I keep asking him if it's really worth going back for £100-£200 month. All I get from him is attitude and 'we get tax credits'. The thought of putting him in nursery makes me angry, resentful, pissed off and sad. I believe he's better off with me than some 16/17 year old girl. Maybe it's because so many children are going to nursery that society has gone the way it has. Not that the government gives a lot of women the choice.

sayanything my 3rd wedding anniversary is on the 17th September. I was going to say it was the 13th, but then I realised I was getting confused with DS birthday 13th November . I hope you have a wonderful day, enjoy every minute. I'm sure everyone will have told you that the day will go so quickly.

Congratulations meanbeansmum, a line is a line and you definately have one. I'm so happy for you, add yourself to the list of graduates if you haven't already .

sweetkitty I'll still be TTC#2 in September .

memorylapse · 02/09/2009 12:29

congratulations meanbeansmum

Meanbeansmum · 02/09/2009 13:01

Thankyou, you are all so kind and made me cry! Hoirmones lol!

I'm not sure dh was at all bothered by his BFN! What a nifty little trick though SK!

POAS this am, same colour test but my wee was dilute (I drink like a fish at night because I am so busy in the day with the kids I forget to drink so drink loads in the evening! I'm probably better testing mid afternoon lol! The line is still there though!

Sayanything, have a wonderful day, it will be amazing!

MrsRgby, I hope you get a definite answer one way or the other hugs.

Waving to everyone, kids running around, school on Monday lol!

mumabee · 02/09/2009 16:24

Congratulations on your BFP Meanbeansmum!Lovely to have another May bus graduate!

lucylev · 02/09/2009 17:44

thanks tobago04, hope to see you back on board soon

HarryJoesMummy · 02/09/2009 18:45

Hi all

Congrats to all the new graduates!

I'm in the middle of the 2WW now but it's not so bad this month for some reason. I think because I have just booked a holiday with friends/family for the last week of May 2010, so I am thinking that if I am not preg this month, it means I go on holiday in 9 months!

Having said that, had v strange experience last night. After going to loo discovered blood on paper (from front not back!). Can't possibly be p as not due for another week - has anyone else had this?

I thought it might be implantation bleed but with DS1 my implantation bleed was so much that I thought it was p and wasn't until 12 week scan that I found out that I was in fact 16 weeks 4 days gone that taught me for being so confident about my dates!

Ah well, we will see what happens next week....only 7 days to go (not that I'm counting) (much!)

SnowBunny1 · 02/09/2009 19:22

Hi HarryJoesMummy

I had a tiny amount of brown/pink blood yesterday which was CD18 for me. I don't remember having it with DD and maybe it's to early for it to be implantation this time around. DH has been away so could only have conceived on CD's 14,16 &17 so to for it to be would surely have had to be conceived on CD14.

I consulted Dr Amy and assuming I'm on a 28 day cycle this time CD 14 was my most fertile day.

Will just have to wait it out but for me to have caught with only 3 days of trying would be really really lucky. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Tobago sorry to hear you're leaving us for a while hope to see you again soon

bluesnowfalcon · 02/09/2009 19:45

Congrats meansbeans on the BFP lol out your DP POAS! Not sure my DP would

Tobago hope to see you soon

To all others hope to see more BFP's on here soon I'm due Sun but think I might try an ebay cheapie morra as it's my birthday and don't feel like AF is anywhere near at the mo and still can't shake the sicky feeling in the evenings - wish me luck although I know it's prob still too early!

Back at work now so can't chat so much but am thinkin of all of you and will try to keep up

MrsRigby · 02/09/2009 20:57

Evening

DH is out again with 2 of his minions from work. I can't help think that he's having an affair, but I don't care, as long as he gives me at least 3 children .

The insensitive sod didn't even buy me any chocolate .

harryjoesmummy and snowbunny1 sounds like implantation .

UmBongo · 02/09/2009 21:10

Congratulations to Meansbeans

Rant alert. Have just had a lovely day playing in local park and visitor centre with ds and had a really cute moment with him feeding raisens to one of his pals little sister. Having a slight blub about how caring and wonderful he was with someone elses little sister makes it very hard for me who desperately wants a little sister or brother for him! DH's comment, "Well, thats not worth crying about" I KNOW that, but sometimes it can't be helped!

That and a few more "aren't you having any more then?" comments, and knowing that I ovulated splat in the middle of a 6 day camping holiday (and no, it wasn't us in the next door tent MrsR !!) Leaving this cycle pretty much dead and useless so the 2ww is pretty much a 4ww waiting for next ov.

[potters off to kitchen for beer as cannot possibly be pregnant, muttering]

MrsRigby · 02/09/2009 21:21

umbongo sometimes I wonder what the hell the point is in having a husband, when the insensitive pricks come out with the stuff they do.

DS absolutely loves being around other children and I'm desperate for him to have a couple of brothers and sisters. I know how you feel.

Fingers crossed for both of us.

But as I'm on CD33, not pregnant, still haven't had a period and don't even know if I've ovulated ... why do I get the feeling that I'll still be TTC#2 when all the graduates are back TTC#100 .

UmBongo · 02/09/2009 21:33

TTC#100 , ouch, gravity would really have got everything on the floor by then, boobs, belly and something I believe is supposed to be called a pelvic floor?!!

Thanks MrsR, I feel much better for that!
