Ok Ladies... new thread, since the old one was getting too long and dragging my computer (and Kat's) down with it!

MrsD - cant believe you are 30 weeks already! So you found that cutting out the lactose helps? It will be almost a week for me and I have noticed some improvement, but not a lot. Of course, he is still getting a milk-based formula supplement to the BFing. I am going to switch to a soy formula and see if it makes a difference as well. Until then... God give me strength!!! LOL

I had awesome sleep last night!!! Hooray for meeeee!!! Marco slept from just before 11pm til just before 5am this morning, ate, went back to sleep til 8am. Then I paid the price!! He screamed for a couple of hours until DH finally did the rectal temp taking trick (TMI) and he filled 2 nappies! Then all was peaceful again. LOL. I think men are ruled by their backsides... really!

OP posts:
sweetkitty · 03/09/2009 22:24

Thanks ladies keep having to remind myself I am pregnant no symptoms as yet

babyblue - well done on the sleep, baby Marco is just gorgeous, I want one

Kat - looking good for you too, I got a few BFNs before a very faint line and a BFP on a CBD looks like you will be joining us on the Due in May thread soon

meanbeans - whoohooo I'm having another girl too, I only make girls, totally not bothered although am gearing up for all the "trying for a boy" comments when I come out. Fantastic news about your DS1 you must be so relieved. about those other little children I would have bawled

scorps - how are you doing my dear? Go with Lacey, sod DH

mrsdisorganised - thanks for the congrats, we are going to have some serious building work done next year, big extension is needed , dreading all the hassle and mess but cheaper and easier than moving.

rainbowdays · 04/09/2009 08:42

Kat - YIPPY , so pleased that you have a positive test too, sticky vibes and hope the line get stronger.

Three BFP's in one week that is good going, really good news.

I now wonder if I should have been trying too this month! Feels like it was a good month to get pg. Well hopefully I will join you next month.....

Hey hang on a minute, does that mean that I am the only one left here that is NOT pregnant right now , oh well perhaps soon I can join with you all.

katnkittens · 04/09/2009 11:34

Thanks guys, got a positive on an ebay cheapie this morning, faint still but I'm still only CD24!

It doesn't feel real at all, I'm expecting AF to arrive any minute! I guess once AF is late I'll start believing it.

OP posts:
rainbowdays · 05/09/2009 11:00

Babyblue - I love the "I get to watch this time" , enjoy watching! And encourage us with continued stories of how although difficult it is worth it.

Just wondering if we want to move this to a post-natal or pregnancy thread or stay here on the ttc thread?????? Should we stay here to encourage others to be totally crazy too?!

babyblue3 · 05/09/2009 14:57

Good point Rainbow. I wonder if all the ladies that have dropped off this thread have gone on to others??? I have come to like you crazy lot and will stick to this thread wherever it ends up

OP posts:
katnkittens · 07/09/2009 09:51

Hehe me too, think we might as well stay on here. I'm feeling completely negative and convinced I'm about to get AF despite having loads of symptoms... I'd never like to leave this thread We're all as bonkers as each other!

On an interesting note kids went back to school today and a woman with 3 kids already all aged under 6 was looking suspiciously round tummed and I heard a few disapproving mutterings 'is she pregnant AGAIN?'
She has lovely immaculate children but people cant seem to understand the need for people like us to want more than 2.4 kids!

Anyway, I'll not be going anywhere, I popped in to the May ANC and introduced myself but tbh am feeling too unsure to want to join in too much so I'll stay and ramble away on ehre if that's ok :D

xx

babyblue3 · 07/09/2009 15:26

Maybe we could just start a new thread to include TTC and HAVING conceived

OP posts:
sweetkitty · 07/09/2009 17:39

hi ladies not much to report here really

What about a TTC no4, growing a 4th, or just have 4DC and counting or something???

Scorps · 07/09/2009 18:04

kat - i totally agree - im 24 weeks now and everyone can notice - cue starings at school today

SK - how preg are you now? Hope its going nicely

It was ds2 first day at school today, he did so well. ds1 is dyspraxic and realllllllly trying my patience at mo. dd is gorgeous

sweetkitty · 07/09/2009 18:38

So am I going to get stared at once I have a bump then? Everyone will think poor us must be so desperate for a boy though.

scorps - a whopping 5+2 weeks now, did a CBD today and it said 3+ weeks , my belly is huge though and bloated keep joking with DP it's twins, I kid you not though I look about 5 months.

well done your DS2 starting school, this is DD1's 4th week and she is doing great

Scorps · 07/09/2009 18:44

at 3+ weeks, i kept checking mine too .

I was only 5 weeks the other day, im sure! Am now 24+3.

Yes i get stares, and lots of 'mad' comments. They're just jealous

katnkittens · 08/09/2009 07:20

Just had to share that I am only about 4+1 and got a pregnant 2-3 on a CBD and the darkest line I have ever had on an ebay cheapie
If you remember last time when I lost the pregnancy at 5 weeks I was only getting a 1-2 at 4+5 so it has reassured me a little bit but still a LONG way to go.

xxx

rainbowdays · 08/09/2009 09:18

Everything sounds very positive here, so full steam ahead for a bumper crop of 4th babies, and great to have so many of you ahead to encourage me and warn me of the pit-falls of having 4!!!!

katnkittens · 08/09/2009 09:54

Rainbow, you have conceived twice in the last few months so are obviously still very fertile. I am CONVINCED you will be joining us very very soon and we will all be on the pregnancy bus together!

Love n hugs
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

babyblue3 · 08/09/2009 16:22

Glad to hear all the sticky baby news here . Today is DD1 and DS1's first day back to school, DH's first day back to work, my first day back to the gym, and my first day completely ALONE with the 2 LO's. I'm nervous! Havent been alone with them yet,and its been a while since I had a toddler and a baby at home. I'm sure DH will come home from work tonight and find me collapsed in a heap and the house a mess, and the children dirty and running around crazy!! LOL

OP posts:
Meanbeansmum · 08/09/2009 20:35

Hi!

Babyblue, we had back to school too, the reception children all looked so small! You will be fine on your own.

Rainbow, I'm eagerly awaiting a new bfp from you in the very near future, there is definitely enough babydust on this board to help you along. (hugs).

I feel like things are settling in now, like somehow I know I am in for the long haul (please please please be ok). I'm getting nauseus in the morning and the headaches are awful!!! Must be a girl lol!

Sweetkitty, I hate ppl who do that, everyone assumes I want another girl to even things out but I really have no preference, I don't know why ppl don't get that lol! My boy pg's were very different to my girl pg. My girl pg was far smoother, less of a grind lol. The boys affected my sickness (more intense), my bp was always an issue. With girls I get early headaches, less sickeness (5 times a day wretching as opposed to 20 times a day spewing at any sip of water kind of sickness lol).I think you will know if you have a boy pg!
