Evening all

Congrats to the new graduates!!!

I tested this morning (birthday treat) and got a BFN... I am 14 days post ovulation so just keeping in mind it may be too early and it isn't over until period arrives! It was an ebay cheapie so not convinced they work now

Hells... hanging on in there!

liahgen · 26/08/2009 18:16

congrats to all new BFP's. betty not at all gross, we ttc'ers do what we have to do.

Someone on here had a saying, (can't remember who, sorry) Consider yourself preggers until proven otherwise. Like that

WickedWitchSouthWest · 26/08/2009 19:19

evening Still no crimson tide. Of course got a bfn on internet cheapie, but it's supposed to be ultra sensitive, so I know how you feel hells! If nothing overnight I may crack open an FR, but am still in lots of crampy agony so it's just messing me about now.

congratulations bettymamma! hope it's sticky x

yay memorylapse huge congrats!

sky and sweetkitty I'm hoping you've just got shy ones there!

oooo lucy v exciting! We're away til Tuesday now but will try and log in whilst we're staying with the outlaws

tobago I'm having an unusually long cycle too....why oh why?!

Loujalou · 26/08/2009 19:30

Have only just started dreaded 2WW and convinced my luck is not in. Not sure why but just have a feeling. oh well it wasn't through lack of trying.

Mrs Rigby I think started the "pregnant til proven otherwise" mentality. Am going the other way. Will be much easier to deal with when af comes.

Not sure why I am being so negative now. Was the same last time and ultra shocked at BFP. Much to my hubby's amusement.

WickedWitchSouthWest · 26/08/2009 19:32

has anyone heard from mrsr? hope she's ok

CurlyCasper · 26/08/2009 19:49

betty no shame in using make-up bag at all!

Can I ask, if you're not sure when you're ovulating, how do you know you're on the 2WW?

Might POAS again this evening in the search for a positive OPK, but everything else still erratic. It's day 13 for FFS, something should be evident by now!!! Will continue to jump on DH for next few days nonetheless (once he gets back tomorrow)

WickedWitchSouthWest · 26/08/2009 19:53

hi curly! I didn't ov til day 16 this month for some reason, and have been known to get a +ve opk on day 18 So no panic yet!

CurlyCasper · 26/08/2009 20:01

thanks wwsw guess I'd better buy some more OPKs then...

tobago04 · 26/08/2009 20:03

Congratulations betty! This bus is lucky!
Hope your test is just crap wwsw and you get a BFP,i've got no cramping or anything and i usually get lots of spots but not too bad at the mo,surely your cycles should get shorter and normal the longer your off the pill? Hope i'm not just going to have a longer cycle!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 26/08/2009 20:14

ergh tobago it's a nightmare. I came off the pill last October and had 4 months of perfect 29 day cycles. Started ttc in March and had 26, 31, 32, 29 and now am cd32 with mega cramps and nothing else Rubbish. Hence why we started using opks last month!

tobago04 · 26/08/2009 20:19

Oh god i was getting all excited today cos i have'nt come on,and it could just be a longer cycle oh well will find out when i test friday
Good luck to you wwsw

Meanbeansmum · 26/08/2009 20:29

Congratulations to all those with BFP's!

Hugs to all who have had af.

CD18 here, the next 10 days are going to drag!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 26/08/2009 20:59

came on I'm so gutted....I'm really upset this month with it. Off the bus for me. Will have to hop on a June bus Gonna check in and see who else graduates, but dh has just poured me a glass of pinot grigio so will drown my sorrows in that.

Good luck everyone

NancyPreg · 26/08/2009 21:07

Oh no WWSW, that is shite, so sorry for you and I can imagine your disappointment....but...only two weeks to wait until you can begin ttc again, although not very comforting right now. Drown your sorrows and all the very best of luck on the June bus.

OP posts:
CurlyCasper · 26/08/2009 21:09

sorry about AF wwsw. enjoy the wine and no doubt see you on the June bus - I really don't expect anything to happen in cycle 1.

sweetkitty · 26/08/2009 21:14

WWSW - bummer poor you, I'll be on the June bus with you I am sure, wonder if my cycle will be 27 days as it used to me though, only had one period since DD3 was born then next one was 8 or so days late and heavy as hell, leading me to think CP

tobago - fingers crossed for Friday then

Hells - sorry about your BFN

I will pee on another ebay cheapie tomorrow morning if I remember before peeing

tobago04 · 26/08/2009 21:32

Oh i'm so sorry wwsw thank god for wine

Medee · 26/08/2009 21:39

sorry to hear that WWSW.

I'm 2WW'ing, think I ovulated around day 21, so possibly another 42 day is cycle for me. Grr.

pigleychez · 26/08/2009 21:45

Hells- Happy Birthday!

Betty- Congratlations

curly I "thought i ovulated on Sunday but when EWCM came with abundance again on Tuesday i was sure that was the day. the body does play some nasty tricks on us doesnt it!

tobago fingers crossed!

wwsw Sorry its not your month.

SK let us know how you get on.

UmBongo · 26/08/2009 21:57

Hello again, been away camping right across the middle of my cycle, but, home now and temp rose this morning so, lets hope we manage to shag before falling asleep tonight after 6 nights in tent with wind, rain and other people too near - (see other thread about shagging in tents!) Congratulations, so many bfps while i have been away!

Does anyone know if you miss a day with poas opks, does the positive still show up the next day? This is my first month of opks, so don't know much about them!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 26/08/2009 22:15

thanks ladies. Shooting stars is on so the gods are smiling on me after all.

medee good luck with the 2ww - the long cycle is a bitch isn't it!

sweetkitty oo hope the poas goes well tmrw, if not it would be nice to have you on the June bus

tobago I plan to get bladdered all weekend with my fil before hoiking myself back onto the waggon for next month. Feck, just remembered I'm going on a hen weekend learning to surf next month right after ov arrrrghhh! Great, had better not drink too much at that point (assuming of course I don't drown!)

I'm gonna hang about and lurk, coz I don't know, but you lot are lovely and I want to see some more graduates
