Bean No not yet...just lots of trips into the garden to cry in peace. She's one of those people that just don't realise what there saying...when my dog was dying she said 'at least you'll save money' May have to have a little chat!

HellsNB · 24/08/2009 20:30

Evening all

There seems to be a lot of birthday's this week, Happy Birthday to all!!!

It is my birthday on Wednesday (I'll be 31!) so I'm going to treat myself when I get up by peeing on a stick seeing as I will be about 14 days post ovulation, keeping everything crossed!

Congrats to those who have graduated from the bus

sky27 · 24/08/2009 20:32

Happy birthday Hells My birthday on Thursday so a BFP would be Brill - although not holding out much hope! Good luck

NancyPreg · 24/08/2009 20:35

Beanmum I wish, I wish, I wish I had been on holiday!! Thanks for asking but nah, just the usual summer holiday madness taking over what with chauffeuring the kids left, right and centre and being general entertaintments manager, I've not had much chance to spend luxury time online! BUT, kids go back to school next week

sky your friend sounds very tactless but if you know her well, then it should be easier to 'tell her off' IYSWIM - and also, as she seems so direct and blunt herself, then by that same standard, she ought to be able to take some straight talking herself...

sky27 · 24/08/2009 20:54

Thanks Nancy she may get blunt and to the point if I come on tomorrow

misshoohaa · 24/08/2009 21:35

Waiting sucks.

In the last hour I have.......
Been to the loo twice to check for AF.......
twice thought I have period pain, but now it isn't there, so perhaps it is my imagination.
Thought, do i have a metallic taste in my mouth?
Checked the calander to be sure I am counting correctly.
Checked my areola to see if they are darker. Stood in front of the mirror rubbing my belly (which is disturbingly protruded! Might be the fish and chips for tea )and observed my boobs to see if they are bigger, and then poked them a few times to see if they are sore.

This is the definition of craziness!!!

I'm almost willing AF to come so I can get started again...........hello, come out come out wherever you are.

Anyone else as mad as me!!!

mampam · 24/08/2009 21:46

misshoohaa you sound as barking mad as me!! I thought I had a metallic taste in my mouth this morning when DH made me a cup of tea. Turns out he had dug out some really old teabags from the back of the cupboard and they tasted vile!

I've also been googling early pregnancy symptoms just in case there is something that I may have missed and realise that it is happening to me. Stupid eh?

sky27 · 24/08/2009 21:49

I'm with you both Mampam and misshoohaa eariler I thought ohh metallic taste?? or dodgy food? I too have been to the loo twice in the last hour to check for af (not so much hooray for damp pants at the mo lol). My tummy cramps have eased off a bit.

walks off muttering bloody, bloody body

NancyPreg · 24/08/2009 21:57

Step 1) visit loo

Step 2) do business

Step 3) tear off loo roll

Step 4) tentatively wipe fanjo

Step 5) brace self

Step 6) inspect loo roll for merest speck of pink/brown/red, hold up to light if required

Step 7) if loo roll clear, exhale and repeat from Step 1 often

OTHERWISE nooooooooooo

mampam · 24/08/2009 22:03

sweetkitty · 24/08/2009 22:49

bluesnowfalcon · 25/08/2009 07:35

Hi all having trouble keeping up with all the posts so here goes:

Notagoddess sorry to hear you are leaving but hope all goes well for you in the future

Nancypreg loved the list to true to true!

Misshoohaa sounds barking but guess not cos we all do it

Good luck to all with testing and hoping for those BFP's

Sorry if I've missed anyone out - can't keep up with everything x

SnowBunny1 · 25/08/2009 07:50

Morning all

What I really like about this bus is that when I first climbed aboard I thought that I was a bit not right in the head with all my symptom spotting/belly rubbing/ early testing/belly rubbing/paper checking. I have since realised that I am not alone and that actually we are all a bit not right in the head

I'm off camping this afternoon and am dreading coming back on Friday as I don't think that I'll be able to catch up again.

Good luck to everyone who's testing over the next few days. Hoping for lots more graduates on the list when I come back

mampam · 25/08/2009 08:08

sweetkitty I don't get pregnancy symptoms either until well after I actually know I am pregnant (IYSWIM) so I don't know why the hell I'm symptom spotting! Something to do I suppose!

WickedWitch I'm singing All you need is love (bride and grooms choice not mine). Not particularly looking forward to it.
Was totally convinced I was about to come on last night but didn't.

Did one of my cheapy ebay tests this morning. Of course I got a BFN.[silly, silly woman emoticon]. Deep down I really don't feel pregnant but what the hell, it's not over til it's over!!

bluesnowfalcon · 25/08/2009 08:11

mampam sorry for the BFN but like you said it's not over til it's over! Goodluck wiht the singing

mampam · 25/08/2009 08:12

Forgot to say Snowbunny have a great camping trip. Don't know where you are camping but down here in not so sunny South Devon it's pissing down with rain

bluesnowfalcon · 25/08/2009 08:23

Have to ask this - anyone here experienced an implantation bleed?
