aidesmum hope you get a BFP tomorrow

Thinking of you!

mampam good luck with the wait til friday i'm on the wait until the middle/end of next week so kind of know what you mean. Trying not to think about the days but that is definately easier said than done

WickedWitchSouthWest · 24/08/2009 13:37

hello everyone

still having manky af cramps but no crimson wave as yet COME ON!!!! At this rate I'll have to hop off and get the June bus

good luck with the wait mampam and hello lucylev and apologies to anyone I've forgotten!

Ergh, feel like crap and can't even distract myself with scribbling on my calendar important numbers coz there's nothing doing yet!

Sorry for whinge, hate this limbo stage!

mampam · 24/08/2009 14:03

WickedWitch It's horrid isn't it what our bodies put us through. Are you 100% positive that AF is definitely coming? Could it be early pregnancy symptoms??

Blues good luck with your 2ww. Really I think I should wait til sunday to test but we're going to a wedding on Saturday so I need to test because otherwise I'll be drinking large volumes of alcohol!! Plus I get sick to death at these sorts of occasions where everyone seems to say the same things to me "isn't it about time you gave Mr mampam kids of his own" or something similar!! If I got a BFP I could answer my usual "I can still remember what a nightmare DS was when he was a baby, so until I forget...." with a twinkle in my eye!!!!!

bluesnowfalcon · 24/08/2009 14:26

Really hoping you get a BFP mampam then at least you can be all knowing at the wedding!

WickedWitch really feel for you hope something happens for you soon so you can move forward

TheKurgan · 24/08/2009 14:34

Due on today, no sign so far but am trying to hold off for a few days before testing. I would be very surprised if I was pregnant to be honest but there is a small stupid optimistic part of me that dares to hope. Good luck to everyone else at this horrible stage!

Meanbeansmum · 24/08/2009 14:41

Hi girls. I'm quite new, hoping for a bfp this month. Just coming into the two ww anyday now. Good luck to everyone. xxxxxxxxxxxx

sky27 · 24/08/2009 14:53

Mampam on FF there are peeps who get positive as early as 8 dpo (days past ovulation lucy) But its usually a day past your normal lp, I think)

sky27 · 24/08/2009 14:59

Good luck Kurgan and WWSW fingers crossed. Kurgan I dont know how you have the patience, i' due until tomorrow and I'm not due until tomorrow and I tested this am - although maybe you've got it right, less disappointment

morefaith · 24/08/2009 15:25

babydust to mampam and aides and all those testing soon.
hello and welcome to the newpassengers.
thanks for all the congrats messages.

pigleychez · 24/08/2009 15:46

mampam-I hate the 2ww too.. feels like a lifetime doesnt it

Wickedwitch- Its so annoying how so many symptoms could mean either isnt it!

Kurgan- Theres always hope!
I remember when TTC DD even when AF had arrived there would be part of me thinking about those women who had periods whilst pregnant and thinking what if!

TMI but Is it just me or does anyone else get a Damp downstairs feeling around ovulation time? I hate it! Keep thinking ive wet myself!

fingers crossed for everyone too

LastTrainToNowhere · 24/08/2009 16:19

Not to get anyone's hopes up, but when I was trying for dd, I got AF for two months even though I was pregnant! I only found out I was pregnant in week 10 and that was because my boobs were so sore I went to the GP to have them checked.

And they were proper periods too, for three full days. Apparently it's quite common. My grandmumgot her periods for the first four months she was pregnant with my mum!

sweetkitty · 24/08/2009 16:32

hello cannot keep up with you all, CD24 for me so getting to the business end now

pigley - welcome wouldn't it be fab if we were both on the same antenatal and post natal thread again damp feeling is EWCM going into overdrive, good thing for TTC!

kurgan and WWSW - fingers and everything crossed

sky - bummer on the BFN, I must be about 9dpo by now have had a BFP at 8dpo before but am being ultra good holding out testing.

mampam · 24/08/2009 16:49

Does anyone rate the cheapy tests from ebay? Have got 10 of these and I'm just wondering if they will be any good? Will they work if I test early or will they only work on the day AF is due or after?

sweetkitty · 24/08/2009 17:07

mampam - I have used them twice and IME they give you the faintest of lines and don't give a good positive until about 7 days after period was due but hey everyone has got to have a hobby right?

mampam · 24/08/2009 17:11

sweetkitty thanks. I have got other tests apart from the cheapy ones but obviously don't wanna waste them. Think i'll use a cheapy one on Friday and use a proper one on Saturday just to make sure.

kkas · 24/08/2009 17:58

thanks mampam & blue I wish it was but I feel very heavy and achy low down which is normally af for me So much worse than last month too! Oh and I have some cheapie ebay tests to use first before confirming with a more expensive test. Also v useful if you feel the need to poas but don't want to waste one

kurgan good luck when you do test! I don't have any patience either, however poas does seem to bring it on, so I might have to do that tmrw to put me out of this pain!

good luck with the 2ww meanbeans

lol at pigley feeling damp! Yes I do too, I have to use those irritating v thin Bodyform panty pads and give myself an impromptu wax everytime I move Better than damp knickers tho!

Hi kkas I got pregnant with dd the first month off the pill and I'd been taking it 12 years at that point Good luck! (i wasn't v popular with the dr's tho coz couldn't give them any clues as to how pg I might be lol).

sky27 · 24/08/2009 18:40

Does anyone else have a friend who so desperately does not want them to get pregnant that they gloat when you say your due and have cramps?!? She has just made me cry twice Unfortunately I can't get away coz she's staying with us for awhile, which is the only reason she knows we are TTC.

Feel really low, af is chasing

WickedWitchSouthWest · 24/08/2009 18:42

oh no sky that's horrible! She's not a friend at all. I'm wondering green eyed monster from her?

misshoohaa · 24/08/2009 18:59

sky27, sounds like jealousy to me! Either she is keen to TTC but doesn't have a realtionship to do o, or is in the same boat as you. Not v.nice at all.
i just got back from a day in the office, where 2 people told me I looked tired - AKA like rubbish! I actually feel quite well today........... oh well.

Still no AF, and no pains as yet, but not to sure on what my normal cycle is as have just come off the pill too.

Have a lovely evening all! xxxxx

Thanks WWSW and Misshoohaa I know you're right, she wants a baby but isn't in a relationship, and I make an effort not to rub her face in it but sometime her lack of tact gets me down.

Rant over! I'm so glad I can vent on here, you all make me feel so much better.

Good luck misshoohaa fingers crossed for you x

CurlyCasper · 24/08/2009 20:00

Busy busy busy thread - I can't keep up. Good to have you over here kkas

Good news tomorrow from someone I hope!
x

mampam · 24/08/2009 20:20

Wickedwitch I've started getting that low and achy feeling in my belly too. I do suffer with IBS and it is difficult to tell the difference but the IBS only usually starts playing up when AF is on it's way. Bugger .

It will be just my luck to come on when I'm off to this wedding at the weekend. I'm singing the bride and groom out of the church so it will be a bit embarrassing if I get up and walk to the front with a big red patch on the back of my dress . Must remember to take a bigger handbag so I can pack all the appropriate equipment....pads, tampons, spare knickers...........

Beanmum · 24/08/2009 20:22

oooh sky, that's just plain nasty with friends like those.... I'm sure there are some people I know who hope I won't get pg (ie my boss), but at least they don't make it obvious. have you told her how upsetting you find it?

hey nancy - are you just back from hols? did you have a good time?

hello kkas
