Morning all, thanks for the thoughts, am feeling better today bleeding has started to ease up a bit which is good.

SummerC - sorry AF has got you too but welcome to the bud

rachxx - welcome too

tobago04 - I felt like that too we always wanted 3 and started TTC no 3 when DD2 was 17 months as we thought why wait too? I'm 34 on a few weeks so what to sneak another baby in before I am 35

hope everyone else is well the weather is being really funny here I want to go out and cut the grass but know the minute I do it will start raining.

Ladylou83 · 04/08/2009 18:56

Lucky u Sweetkitty , I think I would go on record to say this is one of the worst AF I have had, cant wait for it to finish. Not even the chocolate spread jar is making this one better. Hey ho the joys of being a woman. Defo going to try be more relaxed about things this month (she says knowing that after OV, will start the 2ww obsessing)

Anyhow...MIL has just phoned from Spain to tell DH he must try harder this month. Ha ha, at least she is not moaning at me for a change

sweetkitty · 04/08/2009 19:24

ladylou I have had AF from hell as well but seems to be calming down, today has been like normal day 1 of period

Only got another week until I can start peeing on sticks again

Ladylou83 · 04/08/2009 20:02

I'm wondering why this one has been so bad compared to the others. Wondering if my BFP that days later became a BFN, has something to do with it?

Going to go shopping on thursday for pee sticks and themometer, HAPPY DAYS

SummerC · 04/08/2009 20:38

I'm stepping off ladies. DH flat out said no to more children.

zayja · 04/08/2009 20:43

Can I join the May bus too please? DH and I are TTC #1 after a MMC @ nearly 11w after trying for 8mos.

An updated bus roster incl. SummerC and I.
rachxx - sounds like there's a chance you're on the April bus?!

I'm sorry to hear that SummerC. Is it completely and utterly out of the question?

Ladylou83 · 04/08/2009 21:01

Really sorry to hear that SummerC, I hope DH changes his mind, maybe its just a question of time?

LeeWT · 04/08/2009 21:46

hi summerc, was just checking in on you here as hadnt heard from you on april bus.

so sorry to hear DH said that. think mine was close to saying the same when he saw how obsessive i was this cycle. might he reconsider?

hope you're ok

x

sky27 · 04/08/2009 22:06

SummerC could it be jitters?

LadyLou hope you are feeling better.

Welcome all new passengers

Another two negitive OPKs and lots more grapefruit. Went to the nurse for a rubella immunity test, so a weeks wait for the results.

Anyone testing yet?!?!

TMI I know but could do with some advice...Sine last af, everytime we bd I bleed a bit. Not had this before and smears are up to date?!?!?

NancyPreg · 04/08/2009 22:10

SummerC oh you poor thing but you know, your dh may change his mind - how old is he? I have a friend who really wanted dc#4 but her dh said, 'no', so she worked on him......and yes, she got dc#4 (and how wants dc#5 - but her dh is not playing ball!).

OP posts:
pinkmushroom · 04/08/2009 22:10

Im over my AF now, its been a short 1 luckily.
Im looking forward to pining down OV with my new sticks but I am apprehensive about the two week wait which follows.
I got so obsessive last time.
SUMMER so sorry to hear you are not trying again

Ladylou83 · 04/08/2009 22:17

I dont think there is ever such a thing as TMI on here, lets face it, were all girls, and all go through the same kinda stuff... Possible u were trying too hard?

sky27 · 04/08/2009 22:25

possible we got carried away

sweetkitty · 04/08/2009 22:32

Ladylou - what you are describing sounds like a classic chemical pregnancy to me, BFP that turns into a BFN a few days later followed by a very heavy AF, I hope things ease off a bit for you, I know it's difficult

SummerC - poor you there's no middle ground in the "I want another baby, DH says no way" I I hope you can come to a decision that is best for both of you

zayja - welcome to the bus, so sorry about your MMC, hope this is a lucky bus for you

NancyPreg · 04/08/2009 22:40

pink it's so difficult to not symptom spot during the 2ww so you're not alone in that respect...when I think back to all the cycles I had in my 'youth', I wonder how I failed to be aware of all the teensy tiny changes that seem to take place on a daily basis during the 2ww! The answer to that, of course, is ttc - it messes with your head!

OP posts:
Ladylou83 · 04/08/2009 23:06

Thanks Sweetkitty , sort of confirms what I was thinking. Have just explained to DH what a CP is, with responce "Oh...(dramatic pause-trying to think of something nice to say)...thats lovely darling.....urrrr whats a CP".

Have now passed DH my book on conception that the MIL got me as a wedding gift (Oh yes, she did), and told him to read that whilst sat on the throne (yep, actually that probably was TMI).

I agree Nancypreg , TTC = messed up head.

sweetkitty · 04/08/2009 23:13

Ladylou - I had a CP and a few months later was pregnant with my beautiful DD1, I hope the same happens for you soon, a CP is strange in that you don't feel you have lsot anything but you still feed sad if that makes sense?

Ladylou83 · 04/08/2009 23:19

It makes perfect sense...

claireinthecommunity · 05/08/2009 00:08

pinkmushroom I tried not to symptom spot too much last cycle, yet I still managed to write a diary entry every few hours during the 2WW!

You're absolutely right NancyPreg TTC does mess with your head.

A book on conception from your MIL, as a wedding present Ladylou

tobago04 · 05/08/2009 08:36

Morning
Just wanted some advice, been doing some reading on cm and am now a bit worried,i don't seem to have much cm (sorry if tmi)and a few months ago whilst still on the pill i had a couple of times where i was so dry it was uncomfortable when walking, anyone else had this? Do you think it's down to the pill?
I don't really drink enough either,am ttc no.3 and did'nt have problems before
Really am sorry for tmi so early in the morning

P.S can't believe MIL got you a conception book

SummerC · 05/08/2009 10:10

Thanks everyone. DH says absolutely no way. He's 39 and starting to "feel his age" (!!!???) as he says. I think he worries about being an old dad. I don't know. I'm going to be patient and try not to get broody. I'll work on him again in a couple months.

Best of luck to all you lovely ladies. I hope you all get BFPs this month.

Ladylou83 · 05/08/2009 10:19

All Im gonna say is: Meet my MIL! She is absolutly lovely, but is truely batty as well. Apart from on the subject of having children, I couldnt ask for a better MIL, but I think she is so desperate to have more grandchildren, she dotes on my niece, but is quite aware that my niece is likely to remain an only child, hence her "support" is coming my way...

ImmaterialGirl · 05/08/2009 12:32

Afternoon all,

SummerC I'm so sorry to hear about your DH refusing -and 39 is not old at all!

And Ladylou83 your MIL sounds great! Mine are nice but rather religious, which might become a problem as me and DP are not married. I'm not that bothered but DP says we might have to announce we are getting married before announcing a baby...

I guess I'll worry about that when the time comes
