Morning all!
Curley still smiling for you today. I'm 5+2 today - you made me lose a day In case I forget later. Have a lovely holiday. Is this your last without a pram?

Sabs glad to hear the flu has gone. Yay for working from home and almost being on mat leave

Blue I'd definitely recommend the bath lolly combo. It's bliss. Not long now til your scan. My hand's here if you need it.

Cupcake Yay for the 2ww. Really hope this is your month.

I love TTTW too but like Cupcake i struggle to see how they'll film it.

I have no symptoms today and I'm wearing jeans that haven't fitted for a while Off to stick my head in the sand before I take my DD to her cousins' b'day party. Both my brother's kids have the same BD

Happy Thursday to you all.

SabsBigPants · 30/07/2009 11:05

Hello ladies, anyone around? I'm working from home and missing human contact lol! Not missing the commute and having to wear smart clothes, make-up etc. My trains are on strike today and tomorrow

barbie1 · 30/07/2009 11:16

im here but at work til 3pm...just 45 more minutes and then freedom until sat

Im feeling really crappy today, tired, and really angry and emotional no idea why and feel really guilty for feeling this way when others are trying so hard to be in my position i blame the horror mones!

SabsBigPants · 30/07/2009 11:19

sorry to hear your not having a good day barbie Damn those horror mones!

Any plans for the weekend?

MrsKate · 30/07/2009 11:23

im here !! im bored

hi sabs barbie hope you feel better soon

cupcakefairy · 30/07/2009 11:28

Morning lovelies

curly of COURSE you're not making anything harder on us with good news! Maybe I'm just speaking for myself but I find it the most uplifting thing to hear good news from medium (and big) panters! It gives me massive hope for the future and that all of us will one day hold our LOs...and of course I'm just delighted for you all

barbie same goes for you- as we are always saying, ths thread is all of ours, you can moan away! Just because us small-panters really want to be pg doesn't mean you can't moan about feeling crap! By the way I meant to say the other day it brought a tear to my eyes when you said you were here until each and every one of us has a baby...just to know you believe that will happen is so lovely

Kate that is positive about your dh, really hope that helps him to come through all this

Neeko yay for the healthy eating and weight loss well done! I've just purchased yet another book on fertility which mainly focuses on diet, not just for getting pregnant but for alleviating pmt/af cramps etc...sounds interesting! DH despairs every time I come home and say 'I bought another book today...'

Hi sabs, slumming it in non-work clothes and no makeup sounds lovely!! Am quite

I was thinking about texting 4ever to see if Tuesday went ok but didn't want to inundate her if others had already asked... anyone been in touch with her?

Hope everyone's got something to smile about today

Morning ladies,

I can't keep up!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels like this but I have turned in to such a paranoid person. All I wanted to be was pregnant again after my MC and now all I do is worry, not sure I can go through it all again
I have decided to rent a doppler, thinking that it may put my mind at rest till I can feel baby move.

Enough about me.

cupcake All of us will get that BFP, I work in a fertility clinic and we done hormones tests on a lady, she was told that she would never be able to conceive and she fell pregnant natually just a month later! It will happen.

iggypiggy · 30/07/2009 12:54

hello all!

Just wanted to say a quick but v. enthusiastic YAY for curley and her scan!

Am going to buy Time Travellers Wife I think

xx

SabsBigPants · 30/07/2009 13:32

iggy just to warn you you WILL cry when you read TTTW! And also if you lend it someone, you probably wont get it back, like me! lol

Hope jury service is going ok

SabsBigPants · 30/07/2009 14:19

ordered my maxi-cosi car seat!

Curlywurlee · 30/07/2009 14:30

It's the first day of my hols today and I am lounging on the couch watching the awful Jeremy Kyle and loving it I'm heading off for a long weekend in Ireland in an hour or so won't be lurking till Monday.

Neeko lol at you clinging on to that day I took off you Every day really does count - I spend half of every week saying that "I'm nearly x weeks" cos it goes by so slowly

Kate things are going to start getting better from now. Put those feet up and take it easy honey. You are the priority now xxx

gracie when are you back at work again? I haven't texted 4ever I'm not sure whether I should in case she needs time to herself

cupcake I'm still smiling from seeing bean I have very high hopes that we will all be smiling at your good news soon

barbie it sounds like your little bean is giving you a hard time. Have a lovely break till Saturday, you've earned it

sabs just think of this as practice for when the baby comes - no work clothes for at least 6 months

iggy thanks for the lovely YAY!!! Little Bee will make you cry too if you read it, but then all the best books do. Is there still a possibility of gettting called to be on a jury?

big waves to becks don't worry it's natural for us to be frantic. Hold off getting the doppler for a couple of weeks if you can. It's almost impossible to get a heartbeat at this stage and it might panic you more

hopingalways · 30/07/2009 14:33

will post properly in a little bit - just note to say normal hopingalways service resumed this end

thanks for being so supportive ladies, really meant a lot to me!

SabsBigPants · 30/07/2009 14:36

Have fun in Ireland curly you deserve a nice break!

Welcome back hoping

Curlywurlee · 30/07/2009 15:10

Lovely to have you back hoping you don't have to be normal to be on this thread, we love you either way

see you next week everyone

bluesatinsash · 30/07/2009 15:12

Hi ladies,

DS has gone down for snooze, so its maltesers and MN time pour moi.

Sabs - maxi cosi get the best write up out of all the car seats and looks the comfiest - good choice! Enjoy your working from home couple of days, so nice not to have to commute and wear uncomfy bras .

curlybigpants - have a lovely holiday and thanks for kind thoughts for me for Tues

barbie - damn those horrormones, least your only working until 3pm not 7pm like days of old. Meant to say at cost of your scans/bloos etc. I really makes you appreciate how lucky we are to have NHS. I hope BUPA refund every last penny, you have baby gear to buy .

Hoping - glad to hear you're sounding better today.

Really hope 4ever is OK. Think she's having a break to help her relax which can only be a good thing.

Neeko - did your brothers synchronise their watches at bd time ? Hope your DD had fun at the party. Don't fret about fitting into jeans, even though your not feelng sick, your appetite has probably dipped and it doesn't take much for jeans to feel loose (or tight either - grr!).

Cupcake - lol at your DH and your book buying. Mine is a bit like that as I buy yet another book on baby routines to go with my 'managing morning sickness'. 'how to conceive naturally', not to mention dozens of 'how to be a yummy mummy' type ones. He has his PS3 and I have my maternity porn .

I seem to have eaten all my maltesers, off to open the Dairy Milk, byeeee x

cupcakefairy · 30/07/2009 15:31

Hi blue you're making me want chocolate now! I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a dangerous addiction to books about fertility and babies
I always use the excuse that 'we can lend them to friends' to dh cos we're always trying to convert everyone to NFP, haha! We must be such annoying friends to have

Hi becks I know what you mean about the panic- I already fret every day and I'm not even pregnant again yet! Hang in there lovely, you'll be in those big pants before you know it! Have you told your ds about baby yet? (Am I remembering right that it was you who had the news broken by your doctor to ds with the last pregnancy?)

Hi hoping glad to hear normality (whatever that is!) has returned!

Moon we are going to see a film called Moon tonight and keep thinking of you because of it

Enjoy your lovely long weekend curlybigpants!

barbie1 · 30/07/2009 15:37

hi blue i have just had a bar of milka...yummy

curly have a fab time, i love ireland and so want to go back there next year....

cupcake sorry to make you emotional but i really do think that we will be in contact til the end no matter what. It might be through diferent forms, fb, email or txt but i for one want to know all the gossip!

Still feeling crappy, im trying not too...the more i try to snap out of the mood im in the more i get angry chocolate didnt help....dh has gone to play golf this eve, poor dh doesnt know what to do for the best......

I hope week 12 is the magic turning point, the one where i will have hair avert worthy locks, fab nails and salon glowing skin...

Oh and a word of advice for pregnant people....
do not wear bright pink/red lipstick when pregnant, it will draw unwanted attention to you, making you more paraniod about you mammoth boobies and jelly belly...and some how the said lipstick
will find its way from your lips on to the toilet paper just as you wipe causing you to have a major mini break down in the public toilets due to thinking you were bleeding oh and the same lipstick doesnt compliment your red eyes and nose after emerging from cubicle after mentioned melt down...

just dont ok

SabsBigPants · 30/07/2009 15:46

oh barbie !!

Can I also add that I dont think I would have gotten through the past year without you guys. In RL if I ever talk about my mc, some people always feel so uncomfortable and have suggested that I get counselling because I talk about it so much (rather than pretending it never happened to me and shaped my life so much). I always say I have a wonderful support group thank you very much which is you guys

I also plan to be their till the end when everyone gets their BFP and are holding their angels in their arm

barbie1 · 30/07/2009 15:53

sabs im so emotional that last post made me cry....but then again i cried when i was hoovering the villa just now

Im bonkers!

cupcakefairy · 30/07/2009 15:54

Ok you're both going to make me cry!

Sabs I only have one friend who is not uncomfortable when I talk about the mc, everyone else gets that awkward look (I'm sure you all know it well!) but you're right, it does change and shape your life and I wish people were more comfortable talking about it
The mc is one of the reasons I've quit my job (re-evaluating my life etc) but I can't exactly go round telling everyone that so half of them think I'm just loopy...

OP posts:
SabsBigPants · 30/07/2009 15:55

Sorry didnt mean to make you cry but I like your bonkers-ness
