Hello all,

I'm fast approaching CD 50 and had a tiny bit more spotting today. Strange.

Claire, I'm nowhere near looking into IVF yet. I only have my second appointment with the consultant at the end of July. I'll probably be back on the Clomid train for a good few months before IVF is suggested.

hey ladies wrote on the other thread n then realized every1 had deserted me lol....
just got my internet bk on after moving house so thats why i havent been on in a while...

stac hows things wif u... got my results bk after gettin my cervix cortorized so everythins fine jus have to go bk in 6 mths for another in depth smear.
took my af yesturday after not havin it frm february n got in touch with my consultant straight away so start my clomid again on monday... yea
have been booked in for a scan on the 7th july to see if ive ovulated hopefully i do.

hey claire how r u... sounds like a blighted ovumn that u had, thats exactly wot happened to me the sac was growin n my tummy was gettin bigger but there was jus no baby there.
i know theres nothin i can say to make u feel any better but jus want u 2 know im thinkin about u, its not easy

The consultant has told me if my tubes are blocked then it will be IVF but hopefully thats not going to be the case, but I think you can do IUI too so maybe that would be an option. I will know nothing till August which seems to be dragging in

Hey lauren I'm good thanks, on hold till August as I have to have an echovist scan see if there are any blockages in my tubes, apparantly they do this after the clomid in case there are any problems so trying not to worry. Bet your chuffed to be back on the clomid, what dosage this time hun?

Hey stac14...no plans for this weekend at all being lazy and relaxing this weekend..just waiting is killing me really hope i dont come... now on CD 26 still nothing so fingers crossed.

hey stac awk august thats wick.
is that an hsg. i had one of those done although it was b4 i started clomid, its like an xray kinda thing n they insert a tiny catheter and put the dye through it, u can see ur tubes on the screen... i started crying as soon as i went in cos i didnt know wot to expect but when it was over i felt like a d**k cos it was nothin 2 worry about.
when have u 2 go in and get it done?

im well chuffed to be bk on the clomid again.. im still jus on 50 mg as the first 2 times i was on it i ovulated but the third time i dont think i did and plus i wasnt being monitored the third time so we will see when i go up on the 7th for the scan and see if i have ovulated.

Hope you're ok, Claire...sad news for u.

I wentto cons appt lastwek. We have now been referrred for IVF as clomid hasn't worked(took it for 8mtsh- (6 mths prescribed but I was given extra tablets so kept taking them)but to no avail..

Had to have more bld tests and clamydia test! Feel ok about referral as at least there is another hope. Just waiting to hear from the clinic now. There will b no more contact with the hospital or doc 4 now.

thenewsmoo didnt they want to try anything else since the clomid didnt work or did you choose to go for IVF? I'm hoping thats the very last resort for us. Whats the waititng lists like for IVF? xxx

How is everyone?

Went in for my scan yesterday and they confirmed that the baby wasnt growing but the sac was (sac had grown to over 5cm) Got to go into hospital on Monday morning at 7.30am so that they can do the D and C sometime after that, I will be out the same day so that isnt to bad,

I have read so many different things on the net about when you are allowed to start trying again and alot of people said between 1 and 6 months! but spoke to the nurse yesterday and she said that its fine to start straight away as long as i feel ready, so im going to start clomid Monday night as if i have just come on so then hopefully will ovulate again this month, I dont think i will fall quickly like alot of people do after a D and C but the sooner i get trying the sooner i can forget about the past month. XX

I've heard many stories of women falling pg very soon after a MC. Just do whatever feels right for you. At least you know you can get pregnant As the Scots say, "What's for you will not go by you" (add accent if you wish). Right stac? x x x

Hey ladies, just thought i would give u's a little update becos im soo confused.
Well had my last af on 2nd june 2009 had my scan on cd 11 were i was told i had 3 folicles and that i should have intercourse this month as there was too many, went against the doctors advised and from that day on had intercourse every day, over past few days i have noticed that my stomach has been getting cramps and some sharp pains...my af would be expected on 30th which is 2 days from now, but today i have notice a browish discharge when i go loo, no blood just browish...not sure if my af or anything else, i really hope it would be implantation bleeding, just dont no...

hey Askim, not sure wot ur symptoms sound like but hopefully this is the month for u and it is good news
think i would do the same if i was told not to have SI if i had 2 many folicles.
i started bk on my clomid today again so have scan next tuesday to see if it has worked.

When did Claire say she'd be back out of hospital? I hope she's managing OK.

Not much news here. A bit TMI, but I've been having a 'brown' and light period. I hope it doesn't go the same way as last month. That was horrible.

im feelin fine apart frm the flushes havin startin again... tell u i didnt miss them lol.

jus a wee question, hav any of u's experienced weight gain on clomid..im not overweight like but hav put on quite a bit of weight since bein on them.

its jus a waitin game stac isnt it... sumtimes i dont think they know wot it feels like to be tryin 2 get pregnant, they dont rush themselves along..

its offical its def af i have, which im really depressed out, called the doctors, he wants me to only take clomid this month on day 1,3,5, soo ive just taken my first one yesterday, im really disgusted like becos i did ovualte with 3 large eggs and not even 1 took ((
and this af is really bad this month sooo heavy its unreal.

Hey lauren yeah I wish they knew what it was like then they would stop putting us though so much crap lol, I hated the hot flushes although I have to say the weather has been roasting so thats not helping with the clomid flushes

hey stac14 , yeah they only letting me take round 2 on 1,3,5 days only 3 tablets becos they said it worked to much last month..im also on 1500mg of metiformm(dont mind the spelling) now too..

Lauren, I'm not taking Clomid at the moment.

Stac, I'm not in that much pain yet, but I feel a little bit worse each day. If it started last Saturday, I hope I'll be done with it by Friday. I doubt that though. Hmph.

hey clwc No af for me, have had some pmt though, that may be because the school hols have started here and I have DS and step DS who are 10 and 11 and at the age were the huffing has kicked in, it like living with kevin & perry lol

Sorry i havent been on the past couple of days iv been feeling a bit rough since the ERPC.

It all went ok but im in a bit of pain and having very heavey bleeding, I started taking clomid on Monday and days 2 and 3 im going to take 150mg then days 4,5 and 6 im going to take 200mg then days 7 and 8 go back down to 150mg,

Weve decided to start trying again straight away so just need for the bleeding to stop and it all starts again,

askim sorry about the af coming, How long have tou been on clomid now? Was that your first round?

claire glad to hear ur ok... it took me weeks to stop bleedin but then again i didnt want to go in 4 a dnc i just wanted to let it cum away on its own mayb thats why i bleed a bit longer...
glad ur wantin to start tryin straight away, like i say u def know u can get pregnant it will happen soon enough 4 u and hopefully 4 the rest of us.

hi stac yea hot flushes have calmed down a bit but like u say the weather isnt relly helpin either lol

Hey girls, i posted before to say my af cam, well it did for 1 day its away again now i dont no what is happening with my body at the moment. im only on 50mg of clomid think the doctor wants keep me on this as its seems to be working(too well) heheh.xx
Got my scan on 7th july soo well see what happens at this.
