Here we go a shiny new thread.....

OP posts:
GracieGirl · 21/06/2009 12:03

I'm sorry to hear that 4ever, are you day 24 today? Any chance you are too early? i can't remember how long your cycle is.

Joolsiam · 21/06/2009 12:08

Sorry to hear of BFN 4Ever Could it possibly be too early ?

Mermaid - love the sound of your weekend

GG - I echol what mermaid said - lots of Activia plain bio yoghurt works wonders for me

Well, should be AF day here and she hasn't shown yet. PMT gone by Sat and no feeling that AF is imminent - just teeny bits of very dark brown mucusy stuff sometimes when I wipe. I am sure she must be on her way - I know what early pregnancy feels like and I don't feel remotely like that !

tis just strange because my cycles are normally clockwork

Right, did my yoga dvd this morning, have booked my spinning class for 5pm - now do I carry on with housework, head for the garden centre for hanging basket stuff or veg on the sofa and watch all the episodes of ER I haven't yet got round to watching ?

Have a good day everyone

VJaybigpants · 21/06/2009 13:52

Hello everyone, sorry about your bfn 4ever, try not too stress too much

gracie your extra granny sounds like such a rogue but a fun one all the same , loving the fact she opens her curtains then gets back into bed. I wonder what she was like at our age?

mermaid loving the greenhouse wine drinking, wish I could join you. I've had a right tearful morning, don't know why, will put it down to the hormones. I'm ok now

barbie thinking of you hope you are ok

barbie1 · 21/06/2009 13:57

welcoome back neeko its hard to stay away for tooo long isnt it

4ever* sorry about bfn, but are you sure you havent tested to early (hopeful emotion)

Well in 3 hours i have the doctors, all they are going to do is another blood test to see if they have risen (wishful thinking) or how fast they are declining. I Have to wait until monday lunch time for the answer....im prepared but dont want to hear the worse, especially as i have to work tomorrow and then its the whole arranging for the op business to contend with..i have only 2 weeks until i fly home and fri is dh birthday meal so it really doesnt fit it with my plans! i hope if anything i can have it done on tues if needed and the rest until fri, then recover by getting totally pissed on fri

VJaybigpants · 21/06/2009 14:17

barbie you are being so brave. I remember my first mc was 2 weeks before we flew to Turkey for a holiday and when they told me my baby had died my practicle head came on and I wanted to make sure everything was 'done' before we flew out.Sounds harsh but it's what you do.

Molliemooma · 21/06/2009 19:28

Neeko Welcome back
4ever for BFN but really hoping it's just too early. Are you using pre-seed? If not I definately recommend it, look where it got me first time I used it in our 2nd mth of TTC after our "break"
Barbie Are you really holding up as well as you sound, or are you putting on a brave front? Will be checking for an update after GP visit and tomorrow for results, chin up chicky x

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend

Joolsiam · 21/06/2009 20:03

Hope you got some answers Barbie

Well I don't normally get much in the way of AF pain, but she is making up for it tonight - well I think that is what it is - still no AF Am curled up on the sofa with a one of my siamese cats, a large glass of Pinot Grigio and a hot water bottle..

Neeko · 21/06/2009 22:34

Hi.
Barbie So sorry I forgot about today. I really hope that you're ok and everything is as good as it can be under the circumstances. If I had a magic wand I'd wish your levels up and everything well. Take care. I'll lurk tomorrow for your results.Sending you a hug.

4Ever I'm really sorry about your BFN too. I remembered when I was having lunch that you had mentioned testing today and couldn't think of an excuse to come back on until now.(I'm trying to downplay my MN to DH this month) I really hope you've just tested too early. Remember MLS got BFPs in the afternoon for the first few days but bizarrely not in the morning. Post M/C bodies are funny things. Sending you a hug too.

Blue Funny you should say that about Grey's as I thought about you as I was reaching for my 4th hanky and that made me blub more as I was missing you all. what a soppy fool I am. I will be uncontactable on Thursday from 8-11pm. Two episodes and an episode of Private Practice. I think I'll need more hankies!

Mermaid sounds like you've had an acton packed weekend. Hope you weren't offended by the wine comment?

Gracie Please don't rush back to work. Try to stay off until the pain settles. How many weeks are you now? 6?
In my defence it was really like 4 Baieys BUT I think it was the minimilk that did it! That's only the third time I've had a drink since my M/C in March though so I've done not too badly I'm going to relax a lot more about things like that this month. I'm really trying not to put life on hold while I TTC.

Hey Vjay How's your pregnancy going? Still using the birthing ball? My DD was given a space hopper yesterday and it made me think of you!

Jools about the AF pains. I hope you're ok. Remember what Curley says and think of AF as possibly the first day of your pregnancy.

Mollie Hope you are well. How's your bump coming on?

Thanks for all the welcomes as I sneak back into our lovely beach hut. I feel much better about things now. AF has gone away and I'm feeling much less needy about TTC at the moment. Here's hoping this cycle won't be a Neekothestrange one! Can someone remind me of the Deanna plan? Not sure I'll follow it but want to know the principles. I'm hoping that I'll remain more relaxed this month as I'll be on holiday from friday and if not this month, then maybe next.

Big waves to all the other lovely ladies on this thread. I hope you're all well, especially Moon. MLS is back this week so she'll no doubt have some funny stories from her hols to make us laugh.

GracieGirl · 21/06/2009 23:46

Neeko here is your Deanna Plan. I'm 7 weeks exactly now. I decided to try and fool my pain by going to bed at 8pm, it didn't work but at least I've had some sleep already.

Jools I hope your pain has eased off.

Barbie I'm borrowing Neeko's magic wand and I wish everything could work out perfect for you with your results tomorrow.

4everhopeful · 22/06/2009 08:22

Morning ladies.. Im feeling about my BFN & AF due fri so dont think it was too early.. Heavily pg colleague due in 4w who sits next to me just got in & my heart sank. Have avoided mate who was 2w behind my last due date in sept & figured would cope better if im PG again when I see her, so more excuses for me to find til next month.. Sept will be horrid as 2yrs since lost no1, & both no2 & no4 were due then too, now my ex manager has my last edd in sept & my mate is 2w later on no2 edd, and its also my dads birthday. If im at least pg by then it would help...! So the panic sets in, ttc not a problem before, if not PG next cycle will prob have to fork out another £1500 for the treatment again but I spose thats what credit cards are for The treatment might not even work...? Sorry for the me me me.... Just needed to vent... xxx

Joolsiam · 22/06/2009 08:58

4Ever - didn't you say some time ago that it was OK to get PG before treatment as long as you had it before 6 weeks ? I am sure this month will be our turn, but just in case - is it not just slightly reassuring that you could do all your BD'ing, get the BFP and then get treatment, so it isn't wasted ?

AF finally arrived overnight. Pains all gone for the moment. Am half asleep at my desk though - for some reason I spent most of the night wide awake and staring at the ceiling !

Barbie where are you

Neeko · 22/06/2009 09:02

Morning.
4ever can't think of anything to say to make you feel better. Despair is the worst emotion. Thinking of you.

Gracie Thanks for the plan and sorry you're still not sleeping.

Jools Glad your pain has gone. This is our month, ok? Race is on again...

barbie thinking of you.

Hope everyone else has a good day.

GracieGirl · 22/06/2009 09:09

Morning everyone, I've just taken my car into the mechanics as the exhaust went over the weekend and it sounds like a tractor!

4ever I'm sorry its all so complicated, maybe its worth another test on Thursday if AF doesn't arrive by then

Barbie any news?

jools sorry you had a rough night.

Neeko I hope you have a good day too!

Neeko · 22/06/2009 09:14

This is my last Monday at work for 7 weeks - no matter what they throw at me it's going to be a good day (I'm going for positive thinking this month. Can you tell?)

iggypiggy · 22/06/2009 09:36

Hello all - hope you had a good few days without me?

I been at the races on Fri and Sat and out most of sun too - so only just online today

AF has gone and I am preparing myself for a month of much BD action.

Big waves to all of you xxxxx

Neeko · 22/06/2009 09:38

Morning Iggy which races were you at? My husband was at the races on Saturday too for his 8th stag day reunion. Men reall know how to milk it!
I'm playing mark an esssay, check MN, mark an essay this morning

iggypiggy · 22/06/2009 09:40

Ascot! It was my 23rd yesr of going I won as well - as did Dh - so we very happy about that.

At least you getting the maeking done.. I have so far ordered a new mobile and check MN and had a chat... oh yeah - and read a few emails... must get onto the work!

Neeko · 22/06/2009 09:42

The essays are sooooo boring and MN is so good. Congrats on your win

GracieGirl · 22/06/2009 09:44

Iggy - 8th stag day reunion??? Now there's a thought! Do you think it works for hen weekends too?

neeko I like your marking style!

Neeko · 22/06/2009 10:05

Gracie You are clearly tired. It was my DH's stag day reunion. I have never had another hen day Got me thinking now.
One lot of essays done, 2 lots to go and a classroom to gut out before Friday.

iggypiggy · 22/06/2009 10:11

Love my typos above...

According to FF I will be ovulating right in the middle of my week of holiday this month... Am going to keep every tiny part of me crossed that DH can come too - there is a work related reason why he might not - should know today.. v.stressed about idea of him not coming.

GracieGirl · 22/06/2009 10:14

Oops sorry Neeko I'm easily confused! Sounds like an idea though having another hen weekend. We hired a narrowboat for 3 nights and attempted to sail in a drunken fashion down some canals, spent most of it moared up drinking and trying not to fall in. We were very proud of our three fifty six point turn in a 70 foot boat!
