Oh Ray & Dis - neither of you have upset anyone.

Ray - you do not need to upset yourself, no-one thinks that you were trying to upset anyone now. x

sweetkitty · 09/06/2009 22:01

Good better to know than beating yourself up thinking about it.

Hope you get the result you want, I had a scare when DD3 was less than 3 months and thought "oh shit - no" when I did the test there was a part of me disappointed with the BFN though, sometimes things are strange IYSWIM

SparklyGothKat · 10/06/2009 00:13

aww dis. I had an unexpected pregnancy with DD2, I cried for a week, DD1 was 9 months old at the time. I couldn't function for ages.. I didn't want to do 'pregnancy' again. It will be ok if you are pregnant. You know where I am ((((hugs))))

Disenchanted3 · 10/06/2009 08:15

Thanks SGK & SK.

It just feels odd, all mine were planned, never thought this would happen.

I wanted them close together, DS1 was 9 months when I got pregnant with DS2. DS2 was 15 months when I got pregnant with DD.

But after having DD everything just seemed 'right' and perfect family wise & shes my tiny baby girl and I don't want someone else to take that from her, I want her to be the baby.

Plus theres a million other things. No more room in our house, DH still doesn't drive and we hadn't the money to find a car that would fit 3 never mind 4!

I'm still not convinced, though still feeling very sick & still crampy.

OP posts:
LilRedWG · 10/06/2009 08:36

Try not to fret too much yet dis (easier said than done, I know). Get yourself another test and see what it says before you upset yourself too much.

I've just read that and realised what useless twaddle it is. If you are pregnant, DD will still always be your baby, no matter if there's another or how old she gets.

Take care today. x

Disenchanted3 · 10/06/2009 09:10

Thanks, I know your right, just another fear I guess.

I'm going out shopping with my mum, now slipping off to buy a pregnancy test without her knowing ... this will be fun! lol.

OP posts:
sweetkitty · 10/06/2009 09:24

Good luck Dis.

I know what you mean about DD being your baby, I feel a bit like this with DD3 but then I thought I do really want another baby, I had forgotten how lovely they are and how fast they grow up, obviously want another child too IYSWIM.

I am a great believer in things happening for a reason.

belgo · 10/06/2009 09:26

she'll see you buying the test you know disenchanted, my mother caught me buying a pregnancy test when we went shopping together.

Good luck, hope you get the result you want. I have to say, I'm a tiny bit jealous. I wouldn't mind a fourth...

Disenchanted3 · 10/06/2009 09:30

you're MAD woman,

i feel very naueous.

i'll say im buying condoms, hahaha.

SK i think its because i alwways felt a bit guilty having ds2 3when ds1 was only 18 months, i feel like he missed out a bit

OP posts:
sweetkitty · 10/06/2009 09:56

I know where you are coming from Dis, DD1 was 18 months when DD2 was born, DD1 was 4 and DD2 2 1/2 when DD3 was born and now I am thinking of another.

I think yes they do get a bit less attention but then again they always have someone to play with and both the older ones dote on DD3, DD1 keeps asking if we can have anotehr baby

Disenchanted3 · 10/06/2009 12:28

Did a clearblue digital

not pregnant

so rlieved.

just shows ebay ones are crap.

OP posts:
FlyMeToDunoon · 10/06/2009 12:32

Neeko · 10/06/2009 13:32

I've been following this thread. So plaesed for you that you got the result you wanted. Hope if you ever decide to have #4 it's on your own terms.

LilRedWG · 10/06/2009 13:52

I am so pleased that you got hte result you wanted.

Disenchanted3 · 10/06/2009 13:57

I did get that tiny bit of disapointment, but its over ridden by the 99% relief!!

No babies for me, Not untill DD is at least 10!!

OP posts:
LilRedWG · 10/06/2009 13:58

I think that there's always that tiny bit of disappointment isn't there.

Meglet · 10/06/2009 13:59

glad you're ok now .

sweetkitty · 10/06/2009 14:55

Glad you got the result you wanted, was wanting to come back and check on you, I know what you mean about the tiny bit of disappointment too.

Disenchanted3 · 10/06/2009 17:03

Thanks SK,

its really very odd, to spend days crying because Im scared then think 'oh' when BFN,

its definatly what I want now and the forseable future, I just could not handle another pregnancy at the moment, a baby yes, pregnancy no way!
