please get a doctor's appointment, they can do you a test there.

none of this messing aroudn with millions of cheapy tests

NervousNutty · 09/06/2009 13:23

Have to say it does look lke a + to me.

I have used cheapy ebay tests in the past and have never had even a faint line with a - result.

NervousNutty · 09/06/2009 13:23

I agree you need to do a better test though.

Disenchanted3 · 09/06/2009 13:24

I have a 4 year old, a 2 year old and a 6 month old!

OP posts:
DeepGoat · 09/06/2009 13:24

the doctors use those tests [stubborn and losing sight of the op's plight]

DeepGoat · 09/06/2009 13:25

no wonder you are stressed. take care.

morningpaper · 09/06/2009 13:25

The Doctor's do not buy their tests from some dodgy chap on ebay

I know very little about NHS Procurement but I am QUITE sure of that

Disenchanted3 · 09/06/2009 13:26

Right thanks for your opinions, especially those who said ne!

I'm going to leave it a few dayss and do the other.

OP posts:
DeepGoat · 09/06/2009 13:27

yes the do [blinkers on and hands over ears la la la]

honestly i have used them intensively and they are always right.

NationalFlight · 09/06/2009 13:29

Looks positive to me sweetheart, well I am (and also slightly distracted by the gorgeous car seat liner to the right )

Sorry, seriously it does look like a line. Do you need anything? I have lots of baby bits if you do.

Hope you are Ok xxx

morningpaper · 09/06/2009 13:29

please stop taking the pills until you are sure xxx

onepieceofcremeegg · 09/06/2009 13:31

As an NHS employee I am tending to agree with morningpaper on this. The NHS may have some odd practices, but buying bargains on ebay they do NOT.

(I am not disputing that the photo looks similar to that type of test btw)

Anyway, OP, keep us posted. Best wishes

DeepGoat · 09/06/2009 13:31

if you are you are going to have a gorgeous large family - hard work but gorgeous!

sweetkitty · 09/06/2009 13:31

Oh Dis sorry this is you

FWIW I have peed on quite a few of those ebay cheapies over the years and ANY line is usually a BFP sorry IME

What I have always done is do a control at the exact same time as the test, use water or better still some of you DHs wee, dip them both at the same time then you have one for comparison.

With DD3 I had the faintest of faint lines about 4 days before AF was due, CBD the day it was due BFP and it was only about a week after AF was due that I got a proper positive from those ebay tests, you are right they are crap, well I think they are good IF your a good few days late IYSWIM.

DeepGoat · 09/06/2009 13:32

that is what i meant - they use the same type. i am not under the illussion that nhs procurement staff are sitting around bidding on tests on ebay and getting distracted by designer dresses.

onepieceofcremeegg · 09/06/2009 13:32

Following on from mp's advice to stop taking the pills until you are sure. Obviously take other precautions if necessary.

CurryMaid · 09/06/2009 13:34

Sorry if this has been asked - it's not an OPK stick is it?

I've confsed cheap OPKs with cheap HPTs before.

lou031205 · 09/06/2009 13:35

Sorry - the dark pink line is just dye to show that your wee was soaked up. The light pink line is the hormone in your wee reacting with the test agent. It is positive .

I agree with mp, stop taking the pills and use condoms until you are sure.

Disenchanted3 · 09/06/2009 13:36

No, no reason for OPKs def are not TTC! Just PG test.

I really can't be pregnant,

I had such a bad time the last 2 tmes, i physically cannot do it. But I can't do anything.

I just hope its wrong.

OP posts:
CurryMaid · 09/06/2009 13:37

I just thought they could have sent you some by mistake.

What colour are the tops of the tests, are they green or blue?

Disenchanted3 · 09/06/2009 13:38

a pregnancy tests on the front, blue.

OP posts:
suwoo · 09/06/2009 13:38

Dis, I am agreeing with the majority. It certainly looks positive to me. Sorry mate

Unicornvomit · 09/06/2009 13:39

rather than hoping it is wrong, when it is most probably not, you need to start thinking about how you will cope and manage and what your options are. see your doctor first of all

look, you have a positive pregnancy test and no periods for two months, i don;t think you can get a more definitive answer
