I posted about feeling ill a few weeks ago, everyone told me to test, I put it off, i went on hols, bought some ebay tests, they came at about 11,

I did one...

Please tell me its not +

I never missed a bloody pill since DD was born, NOT ONE.

i CAN'T STOP CRYING ...

DH said he could see a diff colour after a few seconds so I left it till 5 mins and that.

Asda or Tesco's do two tests for about £4

Last 3 times I have been pregnant I have had faint lines on those ebay cheapies, I mean you have to squint to see them faint.

It looks positive to me too. I got a similar result with an ebay cheapy and am now 26+ weeks. I'm so sorry, I know that isn't what you want to hear...

You need to confirm it, it sounds as though you want to stick your head in the sand and I don't blame you at all, but you need to find out for sure.

Ive had no period because ive been continually on the pill though.

Yes you wouldn't have had a period, that's NORMAL

Are you off the pills now? Are you late for a period at all?

Sorry but you are being a bit daft not going and getting a proper test.

Dis - I think rather than hiding for the next few days until you re test you should test with FMU tomorrow then you and DH can sit down and talk it through with the fact that you are PG. No point in waiting and getting the same result in 3,4,5 days time, unfortunately it won't go away unless you have tested and it is negative.

Agree with Tigerfeet, can you get another test today, you need to know one way or the other, this guessing is going to drive you insane.

I think if you are pregnant (and I really think you are) then you are only just pregnant with the colour of that line

ok, fair enough but you have a positive pregnancy test. or certainly one that looks positive.

you need to find out for sure, either via decent tests or the doctors.

Dis, if you are 4 weeks late and getting a very pale positive, it may mean that your hormone levels aren't as high as they should be. When this happened to me, it turned out that I had an ectopic pregnancy. If I were you I'd test again sooner rather late and if in any doubt go along to your GP. Sorry you're not getting the feedback you want hope it all works out OK.

I am not sure about this. It is pink but it is too blurry for my liking, I wonder if it is a dodgy test.
If that had been me I would have kept the sample and used the other test immediately on the same sample.
I think I am with the doubters on this one - I hope we are right.

disenchanted, to be on the safe side, do one more tomorrow morning, first thing.

Because if you've no period, and are feeling sick, then it's best to be absolutely sure. The sooner you know the better.

Fwiw Disenchanted I have had a line like that when I wasn't pg, it does look very fuzzy and ill defined. Funny enough it was the same cycle I actually got pg, but because it was randomly long, I was actually ov when I thought I should be testing. Good luck and a neg test is a good sign.

people need to stop saying op is late. She isn't late - she's on the pill which is why no period.

Op - you need to do a test first thing with a reputable brand - possibly a digital one if you can afford it to be sure.

Don't faf about with cheapy ebay tests, they really are shite. The fact they're so hard to read speaks volumes IMO.

Which test is crap - the one that is positive, or the one that is negative?

I would strongly suggest that you get a "proper" test, pref digital: that way there'd be no confusion....

Maybe it was a chemical pregnancy if you had a line and now nothing.

Either way I'd go with the most recent test.

Have you been taking the pill regularly (ie not forgetting it at all?) If so, you won't be ovulating so you won't be pregnant.

Or am I being really thick? (Quite likely...)

dis you need at least 4 hrs between wees i'm afraid, especially if it's early days.

Test 2st thing and show us result but tbh, looks very pos to me. Evap line has no colour and i've seen enough neg tests in my time to know one of those when I see one.

Sorry it's not what you want to hear, you'll be ok, get to gp's pronto if you seriously want to look at your options.

susie, the Pill, even when taken correctly does have a failure rate, something like 1 or 2 % , so it is really effective. but no contraception is 100 %

even on the 2nd test i could see a realllly pale line.

ill get a digital one.

I can't believe i might be going throught pregnancy again.

unbelievable.
