Hold on, here we go again!

Hum,
Buzz,
Click click
Hum

Monitor blinks, glows
Processor thrums happily

Fingers fly across the keyboard
"Hi how are you?"
"I'm fine been waiting for you"
Smile spreads wide across my face

Her words appear slowly
Full of humor and warmth
A cyber smile, a virtual laugh
Silent yet I hear

Realizing it's time to go,
a somatic sensation warms me

"I hope to chat again soon"
"Till then good bye"

Click click
Buzz
Silence

I found this and thought of us!......

im sorry for my little stress. i feel a little better now xxxx

BlueMoon1981 · 18/05/2009 20:09

hi everyone

very sorry not to have posted for a while, i am amidst the chaos of moving house and surrounded by boxes! All the big stuff gets moved this weekend, and the rest the weekend after. I am sooo tired! Will probably not be on much in the next couple of weeks, plus will probably be without internet for a few days.

I had my scan date through, 11th june omg how can i wait that long? It seems a little unfair as i will be nearly 14 weeks by then, i feel so horrible that theres nothing i can do just to know my bean is ok

Enough of me, how is everyone else? I have been reading all your stories, so have been here in spirit with you all.

Hoping for some more bfps soon please ladies

Neeko · 18/05/2009 21:34

Hi all.

Moon That's a shame that you're having to wait that long. 14 weeks is about the norm for a 1st scan where I am, but EPAS told me I could self-refer next time. Is there any chance you could have a private scan? If not, take heart in the fact that you're having positive symptoms and that you have no signs that anything is wrong. Good luck with the move. think of all the reading you'll have to do when you're connected to MN again!

MrsKate Sounds promising. Keep us posted.

I've done some lurking today but I'm havig another down day so I'll catch up with the rest of you when I'm in a better mood. Tke care all.

MummyLovesSadie · 18/05/2009 21:41

Evening all

Well my single mummy duties finished a while ago for this evening & when I put dh to bed I felt like lifting the front of my top over my head & doing a lap of the house as if I'd scored a goal! Have now had a long bath, eaten three of the chocolate cornflake cakes dd & I made, had a glass of wine & have one eye on a fab looking program about 1066.

MrsKate totally with you on the trying not to symptom spot. I'm getting strange twinges in the womb dept & if I squish my boobs hard enough I can convince myself they are sore!

Vjay 5 clowns is enough to scare anybody! At least with one clown you have a chance of overpowering it! Yes enjoying my freedom, makes it sound like we are being controlled by our dh's but its the little things like what we can eat when they are away that makes all the difference isn't it?

Cupcake don't have SATC boxset but have lots of sky-plussed Shameless & Snog Marry Avoid to catch up on!

Mermaid How is your kitchen pile of rubble? Glad on hearing your realistic outlook of marriage, I breathed a huge sigh of relief when I read it!

GG Take a deep breath & chill! Didn't your mc book say to bd the day AFTER a +opk & the day after that?

4ever stay away from the hpt's.... like I'm one to talk. I did one this morning & am only on day 21

Barbie good call on the duty free goodies, I'm going to compile a list & email it to dh! Hope you are getting more into the swing of working now it's not too much of a drain on your time & energy.

Neeko still no pics, did you say you were having problems uploading them?

I want to know how come a woman of 66 can get pregnant with a healthy baby?? not fair.

MrsKate · 18/05/2009 21:41

hi neeko i will i promise im just feeling silly about it .

hi moon that does seem a long time till june but it will fly by. xxxx

littlebellsmum · 18/05/2009 21:45

Hi ladies
I wish I knew what was going on with my body - it now appears that the evil witch is getting me . That would make it a 36 day cycle which is not normal.
And to top it all I felt so crap yesterday that I thought I had to be.....
Going back to find solace in the wine bottle

Sorry, it's all a bit me, me , me today but am ***ed off!!

Neeko · 18/05/2009 21:47

My pics don't work when I choose to show them just to you lot and I don't want to show the world!

Neeko · 18/05/2009 21:49

LBM That's so rubbish. Really thought you were going to be lucky this month. Sending you a hug.

MrsKate · 18/05/2009 21:49

i really know how u feel lbm im feeling a bit like that today . i hope you ok big hug xxxxx

MummyLovesSadie · 18/05/2009 22:02

Oh LBM that's too bad. I know it's of little comfort but your body is still getting back to normal. If it is af then I'm sure next month you will have more of a normal cycle.

Curlywurleelittlepants · 18/05/2009 23:27

Thanks for all your posts about my edd girls. Soppy curly has got a bit emotional thinking of what a special bunch of girls you really are. I don't know what I'd do without you

barbie thanks for the handholding. It's lovely to hear you so happy. Hey when are you coming to London??

Neeko are you okay? The week before AF /BFP is really tough and it can't help having the decorating upheaval. I've got a hug if you need one hon

mrskate good symptom spotting. How lovely would it be to have a honeymoon baby And as for MLS lol at you squishing your boobs

moon I cant believe you have to wait that long for your scan. If you are any where near leeds, you can get a private scan here www.leedsscreeningcentre.co.uk/home/ultrasound_options from 6 weeks for just £70

LBS hope TEW stays well away, stupid cow that she is

anniecam ten days till you see your little one!!! I'm really excited for you Hope the rest of you medium pants girls are doing well too!

bakingqueen glad you got your opk and well done on working up the energy in the middle of your packing. I got a faint line on saturday, a stronger line yesterday and a faint line again today. But I think it must be too early and there is no sign of ewcm or ovulation cramps. We did the deed last night but now DH is away for the week so I'm not holding out too much hope (I'm a big fat liar - course I am )

Jools when are you testing? I can't help getting excited for you and mrskate and everyone coming up to testing time Hope your back is okay, and the girlie weekend distracts you from thinking about it too much - though chance would be a fine thing I know

4ever my lovely I hope your dreams come true this month

MLS I'm enjoying my first evening without DH too. pizza and Notting Hill, and maybe some chocs that just happen to be lurking on the table

VJAY your ds is adorable

cupcake sorry AF got you but hopefully we'll have lots of bfps next month (and this one!!!)

gg you go girl. Twice in one day. You are my hero

mermaid your story really made me giggle. Why do men just love to create work for themselves and us!

Im sorry I'm so rubbish. Work is crazy at the moment and I only ever get to lurk late at night when everyone has gone to bed Anyway good night and hugs to everyone. Lots of love to MM mollie scorpio blue lion and VM and Scamper, in case you are lurking. We miss you.

Mermaid I think I would rant at my DH too if he knocked a wall down in our house, though he's not the DIY type so I think I'm pretty safe!

MrsKate my fingers are crossed!

Moon good luck with the move, don't stay away from MN too long!

LBM how are you? did AF start? big hugs to you, its really not fair.

Evening Curly - I'm up later than you! and yes I am quite proud of twice in one day, my DH is usually a lot harder to inspire!

MLS I am trying to chill. I have good news..... DH is coming home tomorrow evening just for the night - hurrah!!! and yes Mermaid his side of the bed is full of toast crumbs and newspapers - so he'll have to share my side and get some BDing done!

Neeko · 19/05/2009 07:27

Hi
Curly Thanks for the message. It really helped. I'm just having difficulty with the fact that my head and body are still v messed up and that I can't fix either. For the record, you are NOT rubbish!

gracie happy BDing

mermaidspurse · 19/05/2009 09:53

morning ladies

neeko Somehow everything will untangle itself honey, not easy when all we want is that bfp.

lbm hope the wine helped a bit.

mls ok I tested yesterday I admit it day23 you are not alone....

gracie go go go

curly hi gorgeous late night poster glad you are keeping busy with work and you managed to get through the week in one piece.
Making up for the pile of rubble that is my home by looking at 'lifestyle cookers'

mermaidspurse · 19/05/2009 09:59

jools sorry x posted morning lovely! maudlin muggings is very descriptive, and sorry you are on the treadmill of it all with flat boobies the final insult
It sounds like you have a lovely weekend to look forward to though and I reckon you need some good girly giggles, wine and lots of fun great for chasing away nasty viruses.

4everhopeful · 19/05/2009 10:08

Was gonna be good not posting for a few days to try & help me be distracted, but felt the urge to share! My back started playing up yesterday, have suffered on & off with it for years, its just it feels like period pain (lower back throb) Its a sprained lumber muscle that can end up in spasm, so feels horrid when am hoping a bean is developing and implanting, am also feeling womb twinges (glad mls mentioned them too!) then Im wondering if there is some battle going on in my womb with my stupid leukocyte cells trying to attack mini bean and DH antibodies trying to protect it?!?! I fear I am analyzing too much, but I do feel all squiffy and strange inside and I'm honestly not symptom spotting, the anxietys kicked in as per usual and thats the only symptom I really recognise cos it takes right over. Have planned to test next mon, our 'getting together' anniversary, am due a week thurs.... Gonna throw myself into work now to distract but will lurk later for any input/info/advice!! xxxxxxxx

MummyLovesSadie · 19/05/2009 10:19

Hello ladies

Can't quite believe this but I dug the two (thought one didn't work but in the end they both did) hpt's out of the bin from yesterday & they both have a very faint second line. Did another one this morning & the same happened. Its still so so early though & the line wouldn't be noticeable to anyone other than a woman who is desperate to see it! Have no tests left now so have ordered more from Babymad which will arrive tomorrow.... can't believe I might be just pregnant.

VJaybigpants · 19/05/2009 10:36

Wow mls that is so exciting, my babymad tests were always faint lines, but positive all the same. I can't belive you're going to wait until tomorrow to confirm, you are good. I will be waiting now for your news

Joolsiam · 19/05/2009 10:48

Morning Ladies

MN keeps going down and I end up having to do WORK this just won't do

Mermaid - I can imagine what I'd have said to DP if he caused havoc in the house like that - it will never happen though - he doesn't have the DIY gene in the slightest !!

Curly - always good to hear from you To be honest, I'm no longer expecting to need to test Am more and more sure that my blue mood is PMT and my extreme fatigue is a virus (as I also have mouth ulcers and a sore throat) AF is probably due on Sunday, so I shall be able to enjoy a glass of wine on my girlie weekend and get another 4 weeks to hopefully shed some more weight

I haven't yet contacted my diet counsellor though - will run out of diet stuff by the end of this week and can't quite bring myself to contact her before AF arrives, just in case !! A remote possibility though. My boobs are probably the smallest, flattest and floppiest they've been since before the first CP in July - I miss my cleavage !!

Littlebellsmum - sorry to hear about AF, but hopefully you are now in a regular pattern and things will happen soon

GG - fab news on DP coming home for the night - I am sure you will keep him occupied

Neeko - someone else described the bad days post MC as "maudlin muggings" which I think is a great description. It really feel like 2 steps forward and then one massive step back into despondency at times, but you are having more good days than bad. Looks like you are on CD20 ? Those nasty pre AF hormones may well be kicking in, as I think they are here - the first AF post MC for me seems to create a sobbing hormonal mess for at least a week - just eat chocolate, have a glass of wine and ride it out ..

4everhopeful · 19/05/2009 11:29

Aww MLS be fab if you are, however I really dont want to rain on your parade, but I made the mistake of getting PG test out the bin the day after and saw the 2 lines, got all excited thinking I was, and I wasn't. It does say discard the test after 10mins I think and when I came on here all confused and bewildered many of our lovely Emmsys knowingly advised that it can be quite common to see lines appear 24hrs later, even tho not valid... Scroll back & you'll probably find my post, it was only a couple of months ago.. Obviously really hope for you that you are, but it really messed my head up when I did it and just felt I should mention... Sorry to be boring voice of reason...

BTW - am still in alot of pain with back which really feels like period pain and is freaking me out a tad...

Joolsiam · 19/05/2009 11:33

4Ever - I had back pain last cycle, which I thought a bit odd as I was positive I hadn't strained it - with hindsight, I think it was implantation .....

GG - fingers crossed but, as 4Ever says, try not to get too excited yet or you may be in for a fall I had a faint positive at Christmas that clearly wasn't correct, so it can happen

cupcakefairy · 19/05/2009 12:22

Morning lovely chatty ladies.
See that a lot of people were feeling crap yesterday, so sorry girls... hope today is looking a little brighter. This weather really doesn't help! (tipping it down in Wales!)

Moon sorry you have to wait so long for your scan Just looked where you live to see if I could help at all but Yorkshire is nowhere near me! Sorry...(v close friend of my Mum's is a midwife here and she said with my next pg she'd get me in for an early scan, yay!) Maybe beg your GP for a referral and say you are super worried (if you are?? Maybe you're nice and chilled ) Hope you're not doing any of the moving big things this weekend!

Curly- Notting Hill!! A personal fave of mine. "I knew a girl at school called Pandora...never got to see her box though" love it

MLS - would be sooo fab to get another BFP on here so will say a little prayer for you. Just keep eating those choc crispies and take your mind off it all! (As if, once all those babymad goodies arrive there'll only be on thing on your mind I'm sure!!)
Oh and about the marriage comments - I didn't mean to sound so naive when I raved about my hubby! Marriage is difficult sometimes too of course...just meant I still feel like a bit of a teenager

Jools - eek, mouth ulcers. I hate them; I get so many when I'm stressed. I recommend Corsodyl - tastes vile but really good for them.

Neeko sorry you were feeling down lovely Big hug for you.

4ever hope you're a little less freaked out now. How's the back? Really praying this is your month.

DH and I bd'd last night was v lovely knowing there was no pressure to get pregnant...dh even lit candles!! Quite unlike him.
Eek this is becoming a long post so I'll shut up now but hello to everyone!

mermaidspurse · 19/05/2009 12:23

4ever ohhhhhh my tummy is doing knots just thinking about how you must be feeling. I have everything crossed even my eyelashes as blue always says. So we have to be very calm no panicing and carry on.
mls ditto for you too! bin raiders should be punished though

MummyLovesSadie · 19/05/2009 12:43

Hmmmmm I can understand why my tests from yesterday might be wrong but what about the one I did this morning with a faint +? I wish I knew where Babymad were, I'd drive there & collect the order myself!

Neeko how are you feeling today?

Cupcake I didn't think you sounded naive, I'm just jealous as for dh & I that shiny-ness wore off ages ago!

4ever when I was pregnant with dd I had really bad period-type pains from well before my af was due. Now know it was implantation/stretching ligaments.

GG so it's your turn tonight with the champagne & fluffy pink knickers!

Oh & one other thing..... my usual day 20/21 pre-af bleed did not happen this month
