Hold on, here we go again!

Hum,
Buzz,
Click click
Hum

Monitor blinks, glows
Processor thrums happily

Fingers fly across the keyboard
"Hi how are you?"
"I'm fine been waiting for you"
Smile spreads wide across my face

Her words appear slowly
Full of humor and warmth
A cyber smile, a virtual laugh
Silent yet I hear

Realizing it's time to go,
a somatic sensation warms me

"I hope to chat again soon"
"Till then good bye"

Click click
Buzz
Silence

I found this and thought of us!......

I really fancy a sausage sandwich now I mean a proper sausage sandwich, not the type that little minx 4ever was talking about!!!

mermaidspurse · 14/05/2009 17:54

and onions

Joolsiam · 14/05/2009 19:11

DP cooking sausages now

Got home to a letter from the ultrasound dept and a 12wk scan appointment I WISH the NHS could get joined up - just when you think you've sorted your head out, they trip you up again ....

More creamy cm and a little blood today

GracieGirl · 14/05/2009 19:47

Oh Jools thats rubbish!!!!

Neeko · 14/05/2009 20:21

Evening ladies. Loving all the sausage talk You go for it 4ever and don't worry about sharing! I'm also loving the lingual/English and decorating talk. It's good to remind ourselves that we're more than just TTCers. Nice to think that we'd all have things in common in RL

LBS I'm very impressed by your will of iron. Hope job interview goes wel when it comes and that you only work at it for 8 months before a big holiday

jools any more bleeding? What cycle day are you on assuming m/c is day one?

barbie how did your meeting go?

gracie at your psychic talk. Really hope she's right. It must be hard seeing your DH so little. I am a bit concerned by your weight loss although I bet you look fab!

Feeling much happier today - it's amax=zing what a line on a stick can do!

littlebellsmum · 14/05/2009 20:24

Evening all - job interview next Wednesday so no testing untill after then. I have just done the wine test again and it was still fine but still don't feel quite right and still no AF. Probably should stop the wine tests as I was convinced that my wine habit was what caused last mc and if I am, stopping would be one thing less ot blame should the worst happen!!

I'm not sure I can look at a sausage again in the same light!

And, yes Jools - the NHS can be both brilliant and rubbish - sometimes at the same time

Neeko · 14/05/2009 20:30

LBS pass the wine here as I'm not quite ovulating yet Good luck for Wednesday in case I'm too busy baby dancing / cooking sausages working between now and then to remember.

Is it ridiculous for me to be so excited about ovulting?

littlebellsmum · 14/05/2009 20:44

No - understandable under the circumstances

Neeko · 14/05/2009 20:46

Thanks. I love how anything can be justified on this thread.

Joolsiam · 14/05/2009 20:52

Neeko - cant remember cycle day, but I think I'm 4 or 5 days past ovulation, which happened a little later than normal

Thrush + Creamy CM + Little bleed = 3 very familiar earliest PG symptoms = Jools now abandoning her nice relaxed, there is no hope cos BD didn't work 2 week wait and turning into a paranoid, knicker checking maniac !!

MummyLovesSadie · 14/05/2009 20:59

Hello all

LBM Please could you chuck some of your steely resolve my way?!

Neeko glad you are feeling happier, it's true - our emotions are ruled by lines on wee soaked sticks!

Yes Jools what day are you on now??? Could the bleed be implantation?

GG from a 16 to an 8... that is so impressive, I bet you had to keep buying new clothes eh? Maybe it's because your dh is always away? I'm actually looking forward to my dh being away for 3 weeks from Sunday as I plan to give up big dinners while he is away & I'll be a shadow of my former self when he comes back!

4ever your sausage/marinating story made me laugh so much I almost peed my pants! Also am quite that you have bd on demand - & even when you are not demanding it!

Not much to report today, still not symptom spotting & on day 17. Really not expecting good news this month & next month I'll be lucky to catch an egg before dh comes back.

Off to bed to read now, ta-raa.

Neeko · 14/05/2009 21:39

It does sound quite hopeful Jools but stick to the diet and concentrate on that. Maybe test in a week?

MLS hey you. My gran used to say (yes we're back to that!)that the best things happen when you least expect them so you never know (she was right about the peeing and crying thing after all - God I miss her )

Think I may be having my first ever noticeable ov twinges - or, like my symptom spotting last month, it's all in my head

barbie1 · 15/05/2009 05:01

quickly before i go to work again, i think im the only one who works here on ther weekend

The meeting went ok, basically she wanted me to go in to sign the contract, which i had already signed i think she must of heard through the grapevine how unhappy i was during the first few days and wanted to check that i still wanted to carry on! Part of me was dying to say "no stuff your job" but the nice barbie smiled sweetly and said "of course ma am" kept telling myself it will only be for a year, cos i will have a baby!

Oh dear, bbq this evening and im sure there will be plenty of sausages cooking, im bound to get the giggles now thanks to 4ever

neeko yeah to the positive opk, off you go girls, dont come back until your dh is worn out!

Day off tomorrow so ill catch up with you all then xxx

4everhopeful · 15/05/2009 09:02

Morning! Just had a quick lurk & am smiling that I made you all giggle with my sausage shenannigans! Debating whether to tell DH I told you & it was a subject of amusement but he may not see funny side! Maybe I'll tell him at the childs 18th!

Good luck all fellow OV BDers and Sticky thoughts to the medium pants ladies who must be growing into their bigpants by the day! The 2ww commences now! Back on later xxxxxx

Joolsiam · 15/05/2009 09:09

Good Morning 4Ever Wishing you all the luck in the world with this 2WW

I had some VERY strange dreams last night - all about breastfeeding a newborn at a friends house and trying to do the pull up top, pull down bra thing and be discreet, but boob kept falling out

Vivid dreams Another classic early symptom for me I still can't believe it is possible though - very confused !

cupcakefairy · 15/05/2009 09:24

Morning all just a quick hello from me
Neeko congrats on your +ve; it definitely feels like this could be your month so as barbie says- go wear out your dh!!

Someone at my work yesterday made a comment about how I shouldn't rush in to ttc again cos it would just compound the tragedy of the mc if I didn't manage it... I just smiled and said 'thanks' then went to find an empty office to phone my best friend and cry at her! Was so upset, especially as I'm not even close with this person & it's an older guy and it was in front of my colleagues. So inappropriate. He has brought me right down from my positivity about trying again

Anyway...never mind, we'll see how this month goes. Hope you're all good and looking forward to a lovely weekend (sorry you have to work barbie!)

Neeko · 15/05/2009 10:02

Cupcake only you'll know when is right for you and whether you have the right support to cope with what could happen, NOT some nosey old git at your office! (Sorry, but he made me ) I know for me the need to have another baby is greater than the fear of another m/c so I have to at least try. You do what's best for you and when you have your nice long mat leave make sure that you rub it in his face!

Barbie enjoy your BBQ susages

Jools Looking good. have my fingers crossed for you.

4ever don't tell your DH. They already don't get our MN obsessions so I really can't see him understanding. Are you having sausages again any time soon?

Morning to everyone else. Won't be long til Kate's home from honeymoon, hopefully with a great souvenir!

GracieGirl · 15/05/2009 10:54

Neeko I'm pleased to hear you sounding happier again, I hope your DH isn't too tired when he gets back today.

LittleBellsMum Just checked the Professor Regan Miscarriage book and she says mild to moderate alcohol (14 units per week) before you knew you were pregnant will not have caused a miscarriage, and neither would 1 to 2 glasses a week at anytime in a pregnancy.

Jools do you want me to hide your pregnancy tests for you until day 29?

CupCake people should really mind their own business shouldn't they!!!! Tell him if he has any more intefering comments Neeko and Gracie are coming to get him!!

MLS do you need to borrow my ice cube trays for next month?

Neeko, Mermaid and MLS I think my weight loss has been stress from wedding planning last year, then my dad was poorly and not being happy with DH living away. Also when you live on your own with no DH or kids to think of, you eat when you're hungry and rarely bother with main meals. (Though I ate lots and lots when pregnant). Its been very expensive keeping up with clothes that fit me. Luckily I wear a uniform at work so that covers most of the clothes i need to wear.

Kate we missed you!

Joolsiam · 15/05/2009 11:07

GG - I'm still in awe of your weight loss, even when you explain it - I think if I was home alone, I'd ditch main meals but in favour of biscuits and high calorie snacks

It took me ages to remember what the ice cubes are for

Cupcake - I agree with the others- you can do without stupid insensitive people who have no idea what they are talking about. Ignore - their opinion has no value

As for tests - I'm quite strong in the PG test department and have no intention of testing before next Sunday (if AF doesn't appear) as that would be 14DPO. I'm actually away that weekend with friends, so may even leave it till the Tuesday morning - what will be will be I only have one pg test in the house and that is a crappy Boots one that is pretty insensitive (part of a twin pack used just to check BFN after MC).

VJaybigpants · 15/05/2009 11:12

Good morning chatter boxes , I am sooooo hungry for a sausage sandwich right now!
I can't keep up with you all at the moment, sorry.
I saw the physio on Wednesday and she gave me a huge sexy elastic belt thingy to wear. It does help, but is very uncomfortable, so I'm wearing it when I'm walking around, and whip it off when I sit down. I was showing a colleague of mine who then went on to tell others about my strap-on , bless her, she was a little confused with her words

cupcakefairy · 15/05/2009 11:41

Haha Vjay that's classic!

Thanks girls re: insensitive work-man. I think my Mum would be after him with you too Gracie last night when I told her she just kept going 'what a STUPID BLOKE!' haha
Neeko you're totally right that it is only us that can know how we feel, thank you. We talked about it last night and we really feel like we are not just trying to 'replace the pain' at all, we genuinely are moving on. (And he is a nosey old git so no need to apologise )

Oh and 4ever I agree, it's pointless trying to explain the MNing to our OHs - they'd probably be mortified if they knew some of the stuff we shared on here

GracieGirl · 15/05/2009 12:02

Jools I admire your resolve waiting to test.

Hey a bit of good news heading my way. Someone asked DH to swap some shifts and he's accidently ended up with next thursday off work, which means he'll come home wednesday night. Slap bang in the middle of when I'll be ovulating! I'm at work on 13 hour days both wednesday and thursday and I won't be able to get them off at this short notice but I will get to see him both evenings. That means I'll now see him on day 13, 17 and 18, I normally ovulate on day 17 ish so thats not bad timing at all. Obviously days 14, 15 and 16 would be best for me but you can't have everything can you!

Joolsiam · 15/05/2009 12:28

Sounds like a good omen to me GG

mermaidspurse · 15/05/2009 15:53

afternoon everyone hope everyones ok
jools does your dh just look at you and you get pregnant so I only have one word to say to you test* vjay hope your band belt thing helps, its a pain literally.

gg nice to hear your dh is coming home I will so keep my fingers crossed for you.

We went to a funeral today for a lovely and precious young lady. I held it together for most of the day but feel awfully sad now. Life is so bloody shit sometimes girls. Anyhow the world carries on turning somehow so have really especially good weekends and wear a little bit of pink or purple, her favourite colours.
