Ummmm, well not great really girls.
It's either good or bad and i'll only know which in 2 weeks.
I'm either only 5 weeks pregnant, not the 10 that we thought.
Or I'm 10 weeks 'pregnant' and the 'baby' hasn't done anything for 5 weeks.

So - that's it really.

I've done the math and I've pretty much convinced myself that it's unlikey to be good news. Pesamistic yes but there was a reason I wanted this scan so quickly, a niggle that was unlying my happiness.

My last period was 14 Feb. It seems more likey that it's not going to b e the good news. Will only know in 2 weeks time. Can't do anything till the next scan.

Gutted. Scared. Disappointed. Worried.
Not happy anymore that's for sure.Just wanted to tell you, well had to really.

Anyway, that's that.

TC... I forgot to say.. I'm another one with mixed dates! I still have no concept as to how/when DS2 (The banana-loving Alex )was conceived.. due to the fact that, quite simply, we did not do the deed at the time that the dates, all the way through from first scan, indicated that we had!! Howehere near! I know this because DH was flat on his back with severe back pain at the time the dates say it happened and I am not given to seducing men in agony!!

My SIL just had exactly same thing...she thought she was 11-12 and they said they couldn't find anything. It was only a week after my missed m/c and we all thought the worst but when she went back there was a healthy heartbeat and 6 week bubba in there!

For what it is worth, all of my symptoms disappeared before I found out I had lost the baby so I knew - I know this doesn't happen with everyone but fingers crossed if you are still getting the twinges and sore BB's.

TC, have been off MN for quite some time, but just saw this and wanted to send you hugs of support. I'm so sorry --- the waiting game must be really hellish. Hope you hear some good news soon.

thomcat, it could possibly be that you are only 5 weeks, im sure you wouldnt have had a bfp if the preg had failed as long ago as5 weeks and it would explain your initial bfn, sending positive vibes that the news is good{{{hugs}}}
