Paddington will not do any more googling at all!

Tigresswoods · 28/06/2009 09:22

Tigress is due on today, don't feel like going to come on but also don't feel anything else either. What does it mean?

OP posts:
paddington21 · 28/06/2009 11:34

tigress i wish i knew. i guess its just another waiting game!

ray81 · 28/06/2009 14:28

Ray is on the 7th day of her first AF post miscarriage and is feeling very numb with it all.
Ray was sooooo hoping she would be pg this month but yet again is not.

Ray doesnt know what to do she is aware that getting pg will be very dangerous for her but she still realy realy wants a baby.

Ray hopes that everyone else is ok and asks Thandeka to check in so ray can stop worrying about her.

paddington21 · 29/06/2009 14:48

paddington is also worried about thandeka. Am sorry af got you ray its just heartbreaking with every month that passes. Paddington has afternoon off but is too sleepy to enjoy it

Tigresswoods · 29/06/2009 17:24

Tigress wants you all to know that there is hope and that after 18 months in total TTC and 3 months of Clomid she got her first ever BFP today.

Baby dust to all

lissie has to endure the dildocam again today then have a "chat" with her toxic mother.... oh the joy!

paddington21 · 30/06/2009 18:56

paddington has had a really long, hard, hot rubbish day and cant wait until she can start another job/ got pregnant.
paddington is in a foul mood!

Thandeka · 02/07/2009 15:24

Thandeka lost this thread for a bit while in somerset being looked after by mother in law and sneaking into glasto when she's signed off work- naughty Thandeka!

Thandeka says yippeeee for Tigress!

Thandeka is 9 weeks today and sick as a dog and having had a week of no symptoms and convinced another MMC was imminent this is a good thing although also quite grim. (note to self fresh raspbery milkshake suprisingly tastes simply foul on the way back up)

Thandeka's next scan is Tuesday and she is keeping fingers crossed and no googling!

Thandeka sends lots of love to her fave facebookers.

Tigresswoods · 02/07/2009 18:19

Thandeka · 03/07/2009 09:32

Thandeka is embarrased to admit this morning she was musing about "dildocam" and wonders if there is scope for a series of Big Beaver!

I'll get me coat

paddington21 · 03/07/2009 09:53

paddington thinks Thandeka's comment has put a smile on my face this morning! Got blooming parents evening next week- please let me escape somewhere!!! im off to take my very grumpy fed up of healthy eating arse off to do some shopping. paddington is going to burn some serious plastic today and will not be telling mr bear hahahaha (evil laugh emotion)

paddington21 · 03/07/2009 09:53

on the upside paddington just saw an ad for a job she would love, love, love!

OracleInaCoracle · 03/07/2009 15:32

lissies scan showed that she has ovulated... from the tubeless side. so theres a lovely fat unused egg sitting there on good side and an endometrial layer that is 11-12mm going to waste.

lissie is sick of everything.

but lissie is v glad that everyone is ok.

Thandeka · 03/07/2009 16:46

Thandeka says she read on here that MrsHappy got pregnant with an egg ovulated from her tubeless side- and her repro biological knowledge says it defo is possible- the egg can somehow migrate across no mans lands (outside the womb/tubes or something!)! Anyhow not to offer false hope but trying to cheer dear Lissie up.

paddington21 · 03/07/2009 20:10

paddington went shopping today and is now drinking rose and feels better.
I have also heard that you can ovulate from the tubeless side.
paddington is still awaiting but thinks more shopping should occur tomorrow or infact right now online!

paddington21 · 05/07/2009 12:01

paddington just loves to torture herself on google and mother and baby websites. why oh why do i do it?

paddington21 · 05/07/2009 19:56

paddington thinks like andy murray she is most probably out of the running this month. Thandeka i need your expert advice tmi warning though muddy brown very little discharge day before due on but no period symptoms i reckon just wicked witch being cruel. Any ideas? Hope all are ok good luck with the scan x x

OracleInaCoracle · 05/07/2009 22:07

lissie would like to thank lovely mn update friends for perking her up. pretty sure good egg has been released!!

paddington, i used to get this for a few days before period. spoke to cons about it and he organised a hysteroscope which sorted it out.

paddington21 · 05/07/2009 22:20

ooh i see right off i go to google. Never had it before am gutted yet another month

OracleInaCoracle · 05/07/2009 22:22

oh sweet, its tough i know. is your HSG this month? how many more months of clomid have you?

paddington21 · 06/07/2009 08:39

on clomid til oct. Yep hsg this month not looking forward to it. Been on clomid 4 months. Its just so draining. Oh well have a more chilled week this week so it kind of cushions the blow. How you doing? X

Thandeka · 06/07/2009 09:49

Thandeka was thinking about Lissie and how to explain to her about the magic egg travelling to the other tube and came up with a handheld way to do it- bear with me:

Make a fist
Then stick out your little finger and thumb about from the fist (so only three fingers are curled in)
now bend your little finger and thumb towards each other so they kind of look like bull horns.

You with me?

Right you fist bit is your womb, and your little fingers and thumb is your fallopian tubes (this is kind of a 3d representation of how it looks). Imagine your fingernail is your ovary. As you can see the ovaries are kind of closer together than you expect from the diagrams (2d representations are crap). In Lissie's case she is missing a finger but the finger nail is still there- so the egg doesn't have to travel miles and miles to the other side of the womb it just has to pop across into the other fallopian tube (ovaries are kind of suspended outside the fallopian tube its not a sealed system- then the egg gets wafted in by cilia). Hence its not impossible for you to get pregnant from ovulating on your tubeless side.

Did that make any sense? help at all?

Paddington no real ideas on that front but I know as soon as I started TTC my cycles started doing exactly that- normally I would just start my periods but as soon I was on AF watch they started teasing me with spotting the day before etc. EVIL so I think it is bodies playing tricks and being evil- but that isnt a scientific answer! On the HSG front - have they suggested Laparoscopy for you? Prof Robert Winston suggests this as good call in women struggling to concieve and for some reason a lot of women do fall pregnant the cycle after it (more so that HSG I think but don't quote me)- again not to give false hope but it may be worth looking into- anecdotal evidence I know but a friend of mine at work was TTC for over 5 years was in early 40's had a Lap and concieved the next cycle. There was someone on mumsnet waxing lyrical about it too.

Now for my status update
Thandeka has lots of achy draggy feelings in her womb which are confusing her- she didn't have them last pregnancy at all and they are nothing like period type pain but they do feel like something has become "detached" () but then maybe this is normal part of early pregnancy. All will be revealed in the scan tommorrow. If I get past friday (10weeks1day) I have made it further than my last pregnancy so at the minute hoping for that.
