Hello everyone! Sorry not been around - very bad form on my part - sign myself up to the thread and then disappear! I had to impose an MN (and FB) ban on myself to get some work done...

Just wanted to send HUGE HUGS to Ei... I (and DH) was so excited to see your news and now am so anxious and gutted for you that you are going through this again. Hope you are looking after you and getting hugs from little S (and big S!!) xxx

Will catch up on the rest of the thread and report back soon.

BellaHarry · 30/04/2009 10:34

Georgie you are more than welcome to clean my house!! I really don;t enjoy it as I get frustrated when DH/cats walk all over my work!! I cleaned a window the other day 5 times and then cried because it was still smudgy!! 'Step away' !!! Thanks for your pearls of wisdom, depression is certainly no walk in the park eh, I'm desperate not to go back there! Take care, lay off the bleach! x

FruitynNutty · 30/04/2009 13:10

Georgie bring a mop and bucket with you, I haven't seen mine for 2 years so no idea where it is, probably beneath a mountain of dust

SmilingEi · 30/04/2009 14:50

hi ladies
well the news here is its all over (TMI alert) i passed some smallish clots and an odd little ball of clear jelly-like something which was streaked with white. i can give a good guess at what that was and i have also tested and it was a categorical BFN i had my blood taken yesterday by the gynae in LWH which was negative aswell so there we go. im back on the bench now and im a tad pissed off for obvious reasons
i have also quizzed the scanning dept about criteria for HSG and they said that as a 'potential' CP wouldnt have made enough progress then a HSG is still a possibility especially seeing as how it is unconfirmed in their books so im booked in for 8th may at 10.45. i feel like im doing something proactive now especially as DH handed his sample in on tuesday and they took my fsh etc yesterday aswell so progress is being made towards some answers for us
hope everyon e else is ok
xx ei xx

BellaHarry · 30/04/2009 16:24

Ei I'm so so sorry hun! really hope you get some answers soon. xx

SparklyPseudonym · 30/04/2009 18:56

Evening ladies,
It's been very quiet in here!! Sorry I've not been around as much. Am snowed under with work but only three weeks to go yawn. Ei I am so sorry hun. Am glad gynae until saw you and took blood. Did they tell you what you HcG level was? Only a week to wait for your HSG - am hoping it's as easy as possible for you and is enough to bring you a sticky BFP. If you need to chat....xxx
Jammy [waves] Wondered where you had got to
HTGG Scan reassured me for the whole of a day and I'm back to worrying about m/c again. Wish it would stop plaguing me so much. Am seeing MW in a couple of weeks so will hopefully get to hear the HB then and calm down a bit. Come clean for me .
Fruity Am so sorry your time at the GP was wasted and that they didn't listen to you. Any chance you can get in touch with a breastfeeding expert and see if they can help in anyway. Thinking of you xxx I'mm still send Jack's pressie if he's in 0-3. xxx

Molliemooma · 30/04/2009 20:01

Hello girls, sorry for the absence, but m/s has kicked in and been feeling a bit sorry for myself, have some good days, some bad days and some really bad days. Things just seem to be going by so slowly. Good news is GP signed me off for another 2 weeks, so more relaxing on my best friend the sofa

EI Your post made me cry chick, so very sorry it's all over for you, I know I said this by text but whenever you need to chat you know where I am. You sound so brave and positive, I am so proud of you (and I don't mean that in a patronising way)
Georgie Fab news on GTT. More nightmares with your house, at least it's the architect this time and not the builders at least they can all share the blame for all the cock-ups! Glad your friends put your mind at rest about the bump measurements
Fruity What crap treatment from your GP, like Georgie said you get all this "breast is best" then when you ask for support and help you get fobbed off Try not to let it get to you too much, at the end of the day you have a beautiful healthy little boy who will grow up no differently to a BF baby, C has no "issues" and he was mainly FF so don't worry hun
Jaamy Lovely to "see" you back. Are you on the 2WW yet?
Piper Glad you are feeling better
TeeHee How are you and gorgeous Noah?
Lola Hope you are having a fantastic holiday and not lurking

Big waves to CriCri Mibbes & Bella

I saw MW tonight, she has done my form to request an early scan, but I don't think it will happen next week as I had planned She's a lovely lady but very airy fairy, she has bkd my booking in appt for 11th May and is hoping I "might" have had my scan by then, I bloody hope so as I'll be nearly 9 wks by then! I had really set my heart on a scan at 8wks, it was my first proper hurdle so I feel very disappointed, I don't want to continue feeling shit if there's no reason for it again I think I will ring the hospital after the weekend to chase it.

scully · 01/05/2009 12:27

Hi everyone
So sorry to hear your news Ei, hopefully the tests will start to give you some answers
It's 9.26pm here and I'm sitting in bed typing this, very tired, so will write more tomorrow

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 01/05/2009 12:28

Just dropping in quickly. Ei I'm so so sorry that this has happened again. I don't know how you manage to stay so upbeat. I'd be in a heap on the floor. I am totally in awe of your resilience. I desperately hope that you can get some answers to why this is happening. Or get a good sticky bean. I suspect it either will be a great relief. I hope you're able to do what you need to do to get over this - be with your family, or take a little time out to grieve. Much love to you. We're here. xxx

BellaHarry · 02/05/2009 09:37

Good morning ladies, what does everyone have planned for this
Long weekend? We are finnally getting around to puting
Some paint on the nursery walls! And I'm buying in the bits
Bits for my baby shower (best friend organising it but
I don't trust her taste! Lol) Think we're doing it on the
31st!

Mollie hope you don't have too long to wait until your
Scan!

teeheelaydee · 03/05/2009 10:38

I just don't know where the time goes - don't expect to hear from me at all next week as DP is going back to work - (scary)

Ei I am so sorry for your loss, you seem to be taking it in your stride though, you know where we are for those bad days but well done you.

Fruity How are you feeling? Please don't beat yourself up about the BF. You must be so despondent following your trip to the GP. It is incredible how uninformed they are about these things. Can you see someone else? If it ultimately doesn't work out there are worst things for a baby than formula, Jack will still be healthy, loved and cared for AND you will be less tired and more able to give your best to both your boys. I've been thinking of you alot the last few days but just haven't been able to get on to post.

Sparkly I'm sure you will start to relax. Just keep telling yourself to stay positive and maybe your brain will take notice.

Scully How have you been? In fact how are all our PG ladies - I think we could do with an updated list - I can't remember where you all are. But then I can hardly remember to take my slippers off to leave the house so...

Georgie Must be so frustrating with the clock ticking but resorting to bleaching your freezer! I would also be a Monica but can't really get it all done at the moment so if you fancy a trip to the countryside you can clean my house!! No I can't find a dress, they are all a bit black and plain which is not ideal for a May Christening. I'm thinking of a skirt and top instead and I have found that normal clothes with a vest underneath works well - top goes up and vest goes down so boob and belly quite well covered.

I tried to go shopping on Fri am when we took Noah to be registered but it was a bit of a disaster. He was crying when I left DP and didn't stop, in the end I had to meet them so I could feed him in Starbucks, so I promptly went and bought a breast pump!! It's going quite well, although Noah has taken to feeding every 2 hours atm, even if it is for only 10 mins. Mind you he fed and went straight back to sleep last night which is much better than screaming for 2 hours between feeds which we have had this week. I resorted to taking him out in the car one night. I will get the camera out again soon - but we've been quite slack in that department.

Big hellos to all Mibbes Cricri - where are you?

Emmsy1 · 03/05/2009 14:31

sorry I haven't been around lately, things have been a little hectic since coming home from our holiday.
Ei really pissed off that this has happened to you again! Hope the docs give you all the help you need this time, stay strong lovely X (I know this is only a shot in the dark, but do you remember me going on ages ago about a Dr Ellard from Arrowe Park Hospital,he had been doing some research on miscarriages and he started to prescribe 5MG of folic acid to his recurrent M/C ladies, instead of the standard micro grams, I was prescribed it by my own GP before I conceived Amy, It could have been just luck that gave me my last sticky bfp, but the way my body has gone down hill the last 3 years, I believe I was very lucky to get that last BFP,anyway just have a think about it, my thoughts are with you)

Welcome to the newcomers, can't remember your names and am too stupid to think of writing them down when I scan the previous posts!
sparkly Thank's for your text last week, you really are a lovely girl, I'm so pleased that your scan went well X
(ps DS's hand is ok now, his last appt at hosp went well, one of his friends said to him that he was either an alien or a snake, as his dead skin was coming off in strips, who needs friends ey! As for me, still having blurred vision but not as bad as last week!)
Mollie really pleased for you too missus! you stay off as long as you need to, and get your feet up now and again, thats an order!
THLD have already congratulated you about Noah on FB, really pleased that you have your beautiful baby boy and what a lovely name, really don't know any other noah's (except the one that built the arc of course!) how unique your little Noah is X

hello to all you other ladies, hope every one is well.
(scully 2 of my children were July babies, one on the 14th and one on the 21st)

Emmsy1 · 03/05/2009 14:34

piper how are you and your little ones doing?

scully · 04/05/2009 11:56

Hiya, still haven't managed to post again, I get to 8pm or later, when both children are sleeping, and by then I'm tired
Had a big decluttering/cleaning day today, don't think I can blame it on nesting either, think it's just me
My back has given up I think, I was planning on seeing my chiropractor this week anyway, but will definitely need to go tomorrow, having trouble walking at this point.

Wow, another amazingly sunny UK Bank Holiday Monday - not . Am cross eyed with looking at paint pots, fabrics, wallpapers. Completely bricking it that we're not going to be back in before Tedwood makes her appearance. Aaaarrrggghhhh. Headless and chicken spring to mind.

But, IT'S THE FINAL COUNTDOWN..... 30+4 today. Wooo hooo.

Mollie Sorry that MS is getting you so badly. But also I think it's great news that it's getting you so badly. IYSWIM. Hope the 2 weeks off gives you some space to either puke your guts up or get some rest . And hope your midwife gets her finger out and gets you a scan.

Ei If you're lurking then hello chick. Hugs to you.

Fruity Whatcha been doing girl? See you tom for a good catch up.

Lola Think you're back from hols if you only went for a week? If not, then hope 2nd week is lovely.

Scully So glad it's not just me walking round creakying and crying quiety to myself. . My back has also gone. Sciatic nerves are pinching really badly. Feel very big now. But, not long to go for us now. Hope the chiro helps your back.

Emmsy Lovely to hear form you. Amy must be so big by now. Is she sitting up by herself yet? Sorry to hear that the vision hasn't settled down. But great news that DS got into the school in the end. Result!

TeeHee I remember the 2 hourly feeds VERY well. Libby sucked the life out of me. How you getting on with the breast pump? They are very weird contraptions aren't they!

Opps, DH just put supper on the table. Off to fill my face. xx

cricri · 04/05/2009 20:55

Evening ladies, sorry I've been missing in action but I have tried to keep up despite having no time to post. Just a quick one from me.
Ei Really sorry to hear your news You seem very philosophical about it all, I hope you're not just putting on a brave front for us and do post if you need to talk. Fingers crossed for all the tests.
Mollie Sorry the ms has hit you but good news you've been signed off again so you don't have to deal with work on top of everything else. Good luck with getting an early scan.
Georgie 30+4 already! Wow, it's true that other people's pregnancies fly past whereas your own drags... I'm sure everything will be finished before Tedwood makes her appearance, it just doesn't feel that way atm. It will all come together though - get your project manager to kick everyone's ass to make it happen! Sorry to hear about your back though, and yours too Scully. Hope the chiropractor can help.
Teehee Good to see you and great that you're managing to get out and about. I don't think Elise went for 2 hours without a feed for at least the first 6 weeks - I was lucky to get 20 minutes between feeds and often less than that.
Emmsy Good to see you. How is little Amy doing? Elise is sitting up by herself and flinging herself around the kitchen in her stroller She's also loving all the new foods I'm giving her.
Fruity How is Jack? Good I hope. Has he started smiling yet?
Hope everybody else is OK

SparklyPseudonym · 05/05/2009 10:53

How did you all enjoy your bank hol weekends? I've been working (on and off) all weekend but only 17 days to go. I will get there.

Cricri Lovely to 'see' you here. Amazing that Elise is already old enough to sit up - where does the time go?
HTGG Less than 10 weeks to go!! Bloody hell. Did you go over on the girls or deliver on time?
Scully Hope the chiropractor takes the pain away.
Emmsy Am so glad your DS's hand is better. Have you seen the doc again about blurred vision?
Teehee Am starting a new daily, positive mantra. Fingers crossed it works. Can't wait to see new pics of Noah.
Mollie Hope you're ok sweets.
Ei If you're lurking then please post when you find the strength. We're here for you as you are for us.

14+4 today but nothing to report. More headache over the weekend. Am hoping this LO starts moving soon. Will be seeing the MW in the next two weeks so might be able to relax again after hearing HB - it's been a whole week since the scan.

BellaHarry · 05/05/2009 12:10

Good morning, have been checking in all weekend but not really posted much, been painting the nursery which seemed like a good idea until I woke up today with back/leg/arm ache and a mood to rival any! To top it off I thought I'd do the honourable thing and struggle in to work only to find I am off timetable most of the day invigilating exams!!!! Not good! I've been swearing like a trooper all morning and moaning to anyone who'll listen!

Sparkly fingers crossed for some wiggling then!

Georgie when do you think the 'final countdown' should begin then? I'm only a few weeks behind you but it seems like a lifetime, I just can't picture actually having a child??

Teehee well done for attempting the shopping, there must be so much more to think about with a lo now, extra bits to bring etc...sounds like you coped quite well considering! Well done.

Scully sorry about the cack hun! What's it feel like? I keep getting numb bum cheeks any ideas??

SmilingEi · 05/05/2009 13:22

hi ladies
i have been lurking but have decided not to post too much as i am feeling quite bitter about things and i am finding it a little hard not to bring everyone down
i am very happy for everyone to talk about their preg's as i would do so if i was in the same position but it is hard for me to read/talk about at the mo so i am going to bow out for a while and just carry on lurking if i feel the need
good luck everyone and i will pop back when i am not feeling quite so blue
xx ei xx

Molliemooma · 05/05/2009 13:52

EI I am sure most of us completely understand how you are feeling hun, and realise why you need some time away. (you won't escape my texts though ) Take as much time as you need, you know where we are when you need us. Good luck for the HSG on Friday, and hopefully you will be back in no time with a sticky BFP

SparklyPseudonym · 05/05/2009 13:59

Ei xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (you get the picture!!!). You won't be escaping my texts either. You know where I am.

BellaHarry · 05/05/2009 14:49

Ei hope you feel happier soon and good luck with the tests.

Let me know what you buy ladies!

teeheelaydee · 05/05/2009 19:25

Ei Completely understand how you feel. Perhaps some time away will help but just know that we are thinking of you and will be waiting to hear any news/rants/anything you want to say when you're ready.

Lots of hugs and kisses to you xxxxxxx

scully · 06/05/2009 11:51

Maybe you're sitting down too long Bella, to get numb cheeks
Chiro did help yesterday, still not 100% but better than it was. He said I need to ease up on the housework, lifting dd2 etc, we both laughed at the reality, but he wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't remind me
I'm only 4 days behind you Georgie, becoming a reality with only 10wks to go, isn't it? dd1 was 8 days early and dd2 8 days late so curious to see what this one does. Think I'm going to finish work 3wks before, it's not busy and only working 3 days a week, don't see a reason to finish any earlier, unless I really don't feel well.
Hope you're feeling better soon Ei, completely understandable what you're going through, given the 12mths you've had.
Hi to everyone else

Emmsy1 · 06/05/2009 20:20

hello girls, have posted some photo's from our hol's on FB!
sparkly just going to get on with it and see if it improves, if it doesn't may have to get new glasses, only had a new pair in Feb 09, so didn't really want to pay out again. Tying to keep away from docs for a while, starting to feel like a right old hypochondriach (sp?) besides don't want to have any more blood tests, want to enjoy my life without any unwanted diagnosis, it's prob just old age (along with the dry eye that has caused my eyes to start blurring?) really have to stop worrying and enjoy life more!
going to a 40th birthday party next month, it's fancy dress, the theme is the 80's, got a lovely long pink punky wig, and some tight pink & black skinny jeans, also got a short leather look jacket and some pink & black flat shoes, was thinking of stilletoes (sp?) but don't think my bunion and corn could handle them!quite excited about it all
probably get as drunk as a skunk and make a total prat out of myself but heyho, who cares

cricri Amy can only sit up with her straps supporting her, if I put her on the floor she has started to turn onto her side, think she will be rolling all the way over soon! She's a little slow with her progress, maybe its my fault as she's usually in her rocker or on 'our' knees!
Picked Amy's child minder out for next year, she's a lovely woman called carol, she does alot of voluntary work at the school, she usually looks after the children of term time parents eg. teacher's but is going to make an exception for me! she doesn't do it for the money, but because she loves to do it? she said that if your child doesn't go for one of their normal days that she won't charge and if they only come for 1/2 a day she will only charge for that! haven't met a child minder around here that does that?

had a few sacastic remarks from one of the mums at pre-school because I have already taught DS to read, I wasn't bragging about it, I only told her when ds didn't get into the school, as she pretended to be concerned about it, why can't people just let you get on with your own life and let you bring your children up how you wish. DS is doing so well and he's worked really hard, he can read stage 6 books of the oxford reading tree spakly that is good for a 4 year old who hasn't started school yet, isn't it? I can brag on here because none of your children are at the same school If she says anything else, I'm going to have to put her in her place, she is really starting to piss me off!! speak soon X
