This 2WW is driving me MAD - I just want to know now! lol - I think I might test next monday, if I last that long!!!

i am STILL low today on cd17, am becoming really despondent. best get off to work.....

Newmember - I can never wait - but then you test when it can't be positive and that disapoints you...

I bet I start testing really soon anyway!

I got my peak today - CD18!!! - Very exiting, made DH wake up early, before DS was up!

Bellasyummymummy - how long are your cycles normally?

Is there anything that might stop the monitor reading? i.e. it wouldn't work for me till two months after I stopped breastfeeding!

my cycles are really irregular, before i had my DD, i didnt have a cycle whatsoever and was on clomid, conceived, then had a mmc at 12 weeks. I had my then first ever natural cycle 4 months later and conceived DD. She was born May 08, i then ovulated for the first time 8 months later (stopped b/fing after 2 weeks of the birth so that wasnt to blame), conceived on my natural cycle then mc in april, amazingly got a period 6 weeks later, which puts me here on cd18. so i really couldnt hazard a guess at cycle length! i guess i thought that because i got AF 6 weeks after my mc that maybe i would just be regular like everyone else, am still hoping that maybe there's something wrong with my monitor as i've got ewcm coming out of my ears!! (well, not literally!), then again, i;ve read that can be common with PCOS so i just dunno...

good luck newmember on your 2ww, i know how insane one can get...

Bellasyummymummy, you need to check your instructions but I think the monitor won't work that close to a MMC! - Due to the hormones in your system!

(I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but at least it could mean you are ovulating even though the monitor doesn't think so)

hmm i dunno, it was 6 weeks since the mc so i thought it would be OK to use?

Ouch still feeling tired but no other changes that I can see/feel. Although, I do have a very light, clear discharge - could this be a sign that AF coming towards the end of the week? Oh I dont know if I can handle another negative month!

even though ive been using the monitor on and of for about 9 months, i still have a newbie-ish question!

I peaked on CD14 and CD15, so which day do I count as 1DPO? or Day of Ov'ing?

I have had my two peak days - CD18/19 and am now back to high again - so now the wait starts - I am wondering how long I will be able to hold out before I test!

Hi Ladies ...

I tested early this morning, and got a BFN - feeling so gutted about it just now! My only hope is that I OV a bit later this month, so maybe my cycle will be longer, if so I have tested FAR 2 early! Live in hope, but I doubt it this month, I have no feelings of being pregnant!

Sigh!!!!

fingers crossed newmember - I am back on low again now - so just waiting to test. I somehow don't think I will make it two weeks!

newmember- how many days DPO are you? maybe you just tested too early? when i was pregnant with my DD i think i tested at 10dpo got a neg, then at 12dpo got a positive, but didnt feel PG at all, so dont give up just yet!

busylady- i think when you peak it tells you just before you're about to ovulate, i dont think you actually ovulate on the day of peak, so i would say that cd16 would be 1dpo, but i'm no expert!

i got my high, cd20 today. though tbh i'm not that excited by it as i dont think its right- the LH line on the test stick looked even lighter than yesterdays... wtf? plus i think i only have 5 sticks left so i dont think much will happen in those 5 days. oh well what will be will be!

Eh I think I am now on day 9 DPO - I just feel so low at the moment! I never thought for a minute it would be so hard

chin up hon, it will happen. you just need to be patient (easier said than done). and you're only 9dpo!!! fantastic that you ovulated, plus you still have loads of time before doing a test, so dont rule it out just yet.

me on the other hand, i am trying to stay positive but i dont think i am going to O on my own. I thought when we ttc for number 2 i would be more relaxed about it but thats not happening!! it just took us so long to have our DD, and we went through so much i'm just worried it's going to be the same again!!! then i feel guilty for moaning about it when i have friends who can't even have children.

I know - I have friends that have difficulty 2! But it's only natural for us to be feeling low and frustrated at this waiting game! Oh well - we shall keep on going and hope that it happens soon!

morning everyone!!! how are we all doing? i have my second high today, and loads of ewcm and some pains on my left ovary so am hoping fingers crossed that i might be ready to O very soon!!!
today i am off to see an osteopath to have my hips cracked into place, ouch! a little bit scared but my reflexologist thinks that may be why things aren't working so well in the fertility department. who knows, will give anything a go!

Hey everyone, how are things?

Something strange happening with me - monitor asked me to do a test stick on CD 7 and it was high, am now on CD 11 and it has been high every day. Last month (my first time using the monitor) I didn't get a high until CD 12. Very strange.

ooh that is strange engelbart, i dunno why it would do that. when i used the monitor about 2 years ago, i got my high on day 9 for 9 days before getting a peak, i sometimes question the accuracy of the monitor!!

i am still high today, i thought i would have seen a peak today as i've had all the signs of O, maybe tomorrow. If not then i wont be too disappointed not to see an O as i reset the monitor, so maybe it wont pick one up for me this time.

really interesting at the osteopath- he said my right hip was out of place which would affect the ligaments in the pelvis that hold the ovaries in place (or something like that), anyway, he thought that because my hip was forward, it would be pulling on one side of my pelvis, stretching the ligaments inside so one ovary/fallopian tube would be pulled forward and slightly twisted. it was really interesting, but i didnt enjoy the popping of bones that then followed!! i feel loads better now as ive suffered with a bad back for years. Am going back next weekend, hopefully will only need 1 or 2 more sessions as they're blooming expensive!!!!

Glad the osteopath appointment went well BellasYummyMummy, sounds promising now everything has been clicked back into place! Here's hoping you get your peak soon.

Another high day for me, expecting to get my peak on CD14 and CD15. I refuse to believe the monitor isn't working properly as it would make me question the ridiculous amount of money I spent on it plus the extortionate costs of the test sticks every month! I wonder sometimes whether its worth ringing the helpline but would be too embarrassed talking to a real live person about my cycles I think!

I am trying to resist testing - I am on CD 23 and thing I am 3/4 days PO so really shouldn't test yet - but I do have lots of cheap ebay tests - so am hanging on to not testing by my fingernails!

I am now on CD24, my wee 'm' on the monitor is still NOT flashing so maybe another day or so before my period is due! Which means I tested FAR to early last week - lol !!!!!

I did OV later this month, think today is 10 DPO so I am praying I get my BFP during the week!

plus a medical termination in 05 at 22wks as baby had fluid in heart, lungs, brain

So we've had some lovely fortune in our two gorgeous boys, and some not such great luck along the way!
Don't seem to be getting pregnant as quick as usual so here in about mth 6 of ttc #3 I thought a bit of science might help!!

Have told dh he is 'on duty' tonight as its CD 12 and the monitor is showing high. Have read about others conceiving on high days as well as peak - am determined to get a bfp this month!
