Just wanted a bit od advice if one of you can help. I just went to toilet and found some pink light blood, only a little. I'm due on in a bout 6/7 days, could this be the implantation? I don't know when this would normally be and did feel twinges of pain in my womb. It is where the last baby was that I m/carried, so I feel the tenderness there still, so hope if I am it will be ok.
Thanks allxx

Egypt · 11/07/2003 09:29

Quackers
You have had so many postitive signs and I would say that this is prob another. I don't know when implantation bleeds occur, if they do, so I'm not really clued up enough to answer, but it does kind of sounds positive. Good luck!

Broody · 11/07/2003 09:59

Good luck Quackers!

Egypt - any news on the clomid? Bunny2 seems to ahve had a good experience with it, so I hope it does the same for you, certainly sounds very positive for you though going down that route and you have all the other signs and just need the kick start!!

Me new girl. Love mumsnet. Egypt, I fell pregnant with ds last year in between apppointments with the specialist who was going to put me on something - Clomid or metformin I think. Being as I'm an old bird (40 in November) and have PCOS and never thought I would conceive, never EVER give up hope!

Hi,

Just found out I'm pregnant (this morning!), but I kind of 'knew' (hoped!) because my boobs are so incredibly sore! And I've got a 'funny feeling' in my tummy - like a very mild period-type ache - like it's a bit swollen. But it was the boobs that did it! Usually they get sore before my period, but not like this - shooting pains through them and v. uncomfortable to sleep on!

grommit · 24/07/2003 09:46

Congratulations Dot1 - that is great news!

Just did a test (af due today) and had a very faint line........now I've just read this thread and was quite excited reading Ghosty's posts and then was sad to then read that her faint line resulted in a late(r) period for that month. Am so hoping I'm pregnant again......should I just re-test in a couple of more days? Hoe do I get through the next few days? Haven't even told hubby yet!
hana
yikes, could this be it?

Egypt · 01/10/2003 21:09

yes test in a couple of days, if you have a line you are pregnant, but like ghosty, could not establish itself and you get a period. good luck!!!

hana · 07/10/2003 12:57

Well it's nearly a week later and I tested again and it's positive, didn't have to wait long at all for that line to appear. Yipee, really excited now!

lazyeye · 07/10/2003 13:01

Congrats Hana, all the very best

eefs · 07/10/2003 13:08

brilliant news Hana, best wishes for the next few months!

Helsbels · 07/10/2003 13:09

I'm on about every thread now!! My boobs hurt and I'm as much as ten days late with 3 negative tests. I don't feel periody , I've been tired and a bit ratty, crampy pains and a few twinges. Is it worth testing agin - sorry to anyone who has answered me on another thread - just fishing round for other ideas and someone to tell me I'm still in with a chance of being pg

Bogwoppit · 07/10/2003 15:19

congratulations Hana

Moomin · 07/10/2003 15:26

Helsbels - to be honest I wouldn't be that hopeful after 3 neg tests. In my experience, loads of period symptoms can seem like preg symptoms when you're looking for them. Neg tests when you actually ARE pg are possible but not the norm. Sorry to put you on a downer, but I've spent too much time on here desperately looking for other people's experiences of being pg in the hope that this will rub off on me! (BTW, Hope I'm wrong - if not, better luck next month xx)

Helsbels · 07/10/2003 15:31

Thanks Moomin,

Helsbels · 07/10/2003 15:48

Sorry cut myself off! Thanks for your kind words - we haven't been trying for very long and I honestly didn't realise how many people had problems until I found this site. I will try again once AF has been and gone - I just wish she'd hurry up!

madgirl · 08/10/2003 08:22

It's really annoying isn't it? Just when you want nice regular AFs, a late one comes along and gets you all excited. The lateness of AF then goes and maximises all pre af symptoms which convince you (or make you hope hope hope) that you are pregnant. Course, you may be pregnant helsbels! Do you let us know! For the first time this month in a year my af was late (cycle was always 28 days or less) and this was the first time i really thought we had b'd'd at the right time. GGGrrrrr

Moomin · 08/10/2003 10:23

I've almost driven myself mad some months, becoming obsessed with getting pg. I think my body has started to rebel against the constant angst - hence the "false" symptoms several months. Work has been a bit crap so I convinced myself that I NEEDED to get pg this year. Month before last I had poor dh "performing" almost every night and it very nearly caused a huge trauma in our house!! I've taken a step back, decided that the world won't end if I don't get pg straight away and try to relax a bit - and also just have sex when we both fancy it and hope it sometimes co-incides with the right time of the month. We've been ttc on and off since Jan. We've decided to be more relaxed in the next few months and then if nothing's happened by Jan/Feb, we'll see our GP.
If I'm going to be brutally honest, constantly scouring the TTC Threads on Mumsnet hasn't helped in some ways, but only when I've been at my most obsessed. It's great for the occasional shoulder to cry on...
BTW, my mum and dad were trying for 10 years before they adopted me. When I was 9 months old they conceived my brother naturally. Another reason to give yourself a break and try to relax a bit, maybe?....

quackers · 08/10/2003 10:44

Moomin, I'm going to be brutally honest too. I absolutley adore evryone who contributes to Mumsnet, it has been a lifeline for me in many ways, however, interms of conceiving, I have had to take a very big step back from it. I could not carry on being obsessed as I was about getting pg. I felt as though I had to comment on everything and give perspective and opinion and I just can't do that anymore. Mumsnet for me should be a forum to make friends and share things but I felt like it was taking over other things in my life. This has coincided with work being stricetr on internet etc.. In a way I feel that if I do take a step back it will happen. Also, I have just got a new job and that has taken over a little, that would look good if I got pg now!!! So, I hope peopel accept that this is why I've been a bit 'sparse' and I am still here, just not in my obsessive form!!!!!
LOL to allxxxxxxxxxxx
