Sorry ... that sounded so low and pathetic ...
I'll bounce back ... I always do ... I just want it so bad ... I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My heart goes out to all those women every where who have to go through years of this just to get one baby ... with IVF etc ... Don't know how you do it ...
I just have to thank my lucky stars that I have DS don't I?

Ghosty · 26/04/2003 03:57

Still want to have a good old cry tho' ...

SoupDragon · 26/04/2003 08:05

Hugs, Ghosty. That happened to me when TTC dS2. Faint +ve followed by period a few days later. We got "lucky" the next month though, so fingers crossed for you.

jessi · 26/04/2003 08:19

Sorry it didn't work out this month Ghosty. I have found its the time when I am certain I'm defintitely NOT pregnant, that I am! Treat yourself to something you couldn't of had if you were.. alcohol springs to mind!

emsiewill · 26/04/2003 08:45

Oh Ghosty, so sorry. Don't really know what else to say, but wanted to say something.

ScummyMummy · 26/04/2003 12:49

Sorry to hear this too, Ghosty. How disappointing for you. xxxx

prufrock · 26/04/2003 13:54

Sorry to hear this ghosty - but think of the good things, you can have drink and start practicing again ready for next month.

Moomin · 26/04/2003 14:10

So sorry, Ghosty. Had the same yesterday. Was waiting until Sun for period day but had had some pg "symptoms" so was feeling a bit optimistic. Back was killing me tho so I took a test so that if I was neg could take some very strong painkillers. And guess what...... But at least my back feels a bit better now! Better luck for both of us next month!

Moomin · 26/04/2003 14:10

Oh yes, and to add insult to injury, came on last night - 2 days EARLY! Bah!

Katherine · 26/04/2003 16:33

Ghosty & Moomin - So sorry. Hugs.

bayleaf · 26/04/2003 18:09

It's a crap feeling isn't it Ghosty? I had the same ( a biochemical pregnancy - implanted but the didn't develop - they're more common than you might think)after my last ivf. Of course unless you are testing on your due date or before you'd never even realise it had happened - so most people are unaware that it has even happened.

Ghosty - so sorry to hear that - sounded so positive before. Good luck and keep on trying

EmmaTMG · 26/04/2003 20:12

ohhhh, I'm really sorry to here that Ghosty. We were ALL so sure.
Well, as least you'll have lots of fun over the next month. Enjoy it!

WideWebWitch · 26/04/2003 20:32

Sorry to hear this Ghosty and fingers crossed for the next couple of months. We were sure weren't we EmmaTMG, had you even told your DH?! (It was you wasn't it? If so, you made me laugh about it on the other thread, I can just imagine his total lack of interest!)

Meanmum · 26/04/2003 20:53

Ghosty - sad news. Looks like there are a few of us going back to the drawing board next month. Just remember you're not the only one and everyone will be interested to hear how you get on next month.

EmmaTMG · 26/04/2003 20:56

WWW yes it was me. DH always reads over my shoulder and I'm quite sure he's a closet netter so he may of pretented to be uninterested but I know better!

bunny2 · 26/04/2003 22:02

Sorry Ghosty. I was so excited for you. I was due on Thurday aswell and so far no period and one negative pt. for you and probably for me too.

gingernut · 26/04/2003 22:53

Ghosty - really sorry to hear this. Try not to be too disheartened - I know it's difficult especially after a miscarriage when you desperately want to move on. Thinking of you.

SamboM · 26/04/2003 23:19

Sorry Ghosty and lots of hugs to you ((((((((((()))))))))))))

Better luck next month. I know how awful it is (took me 3.5 yrs for my dd to be conceived)

percy · 27/04/2003 18:50

Ghosty - really sorry - its so crap when you try really hard not to get your hopes up but you can't help it - and then it all crashes. Lots and lots of luck for next month though.

Marina · 27/04/2003 19:05

Oh no, Ghosty, just caught up with your news. Big hugs to you, what a disappointment this month. Will catch up with you on the TTC thread and hope to offer more support and advice there, I know so well how hateful TTC after a loss can be. XXX

Claireandrich · 27/04/2003 19:57

So sorry Ghosty. I know how hard it can be - took Dh and me a year to conceive, followed by a mc at 7 weeks, then another year of ttc before we caught with DD. However, don't forget - you can conceive, you've done it before. You just have to try and relax and be patient, then hey presto, it'll happen when you don't expect it to.

I have my fingers crossed for you next month.

mum2toby · 28/04/2003 08:07

OH Ghosty! How crap for you!! But, I s'pose you can take comfort in the fact that you have conceived twice(??) before with no problems..... so you'll just have to get bonking like crazy again!!

Good luck next month.
