Please don't be offended if you're not named, you're still welcome, I just have a rubbish memory. I can see a couple of you on November thread but there's a whole load of people not there. Just wondering if you wanted a little thread to keep in touch?

Headfairy - just replied to you on grapefruit thread. So sorry about your sad news. Was hoping a new thread might provide you with support from old friends.

And Sunnydale, I know you're wary of new threads, so though you might also like the company of old friends.

Wishing and Bubble having your weird long cycles and missing whole month's threads, thought this might be one for you too.

So what do you say? I'll start a list just in case:

Issy, ttc#1, cycle 14, ucl 28ish, cd 23/10dpo, mc Mar08, cp Sep08, IVF in April.

oh dear

my coffee fuelled perkiness has evaporated. Hate to see people feeling low and despondent.

I will keep my mad morning rambles to myself from now on, honest.

Good luck at the doctor's
x

HeadFairy · 24/03/2009 12:37

I'm not feeling low sif, just tired, and yesterday was my most indulgent day in years. Was fab

HeadFairy · 24/03/2009 12:37

don't keep your ramblings to yourself either I like ramblings

bluesatinsash · 24/03/2009 13:27

Hi Ladies,

I have 'the big sperm race' taped and will be watching it tonight whilst gulping gfj .

sif - thanks for your kind words, I'm really OK and looking forward to this month's bd marathon. I've timed it perfectly as DH and me are off on holiday ALL next week and I'm due to ov next Thurs on our anniversary, it all bodes well . Great news that your EWCM is back, lets get going this month, I feel some BFP's in the wings...

bubble IF I do fall pg I would be due on Xmas Day - eeek! but I've already posted about the days of me wishing for an April-Sept baby are long gone. My last ERPC was on NY Day so it would be just the best way to replace a horrible memory with a lovely one .

Head - sorry to hear you've got the lurgy, hope your 'me' day yesterday was just what you needed. T minus 2 days 'til we pick up the fertility wagon Volvo

Gateau - was just lovely reading your post and feeling your relief at a good scan - its just fantastic news and you saw its wee arms and everything .

Izzy - you are in for a busy/stressful few weeks and i'm sending you all the positive health eggs vibes I can muster your way x

Jumping - fingers crossed for you this weekend!

Girl - good to hear you had a positive experience at the Docs, as you say just having them listen and reassure can be a boost in itself.

sifuentes · 24/03/2009 13:49

such a relief to hear that you are both well. (i always feel like such a div writing 'grin' anyway)

lucky you having timed it perfectly, blue. I haven't really cos DP is off on business somewhere tomorrow night so just have to pray that Day 12 in the big brother house sifuentes household is a lucky lucky one!
my due date would be the same as my mc - weird... only just clocked that actually.

oh and head your day did in fact sound fab - especially the custard creams part. My days like that are spent with skyplussed guilty pleasures that are too numerous to list here, but boy do i love them. My guiltiest pleasure is the Hills on MTV. So bad but so good...I am not proud of myself!

HeadFairy · 24/03/2009 19:33

don't write grin sif just do a : followed by a o and you get a . My day yesterday was good, but must must must give up the custard cream addiction. Got weddings and holidays to think about. We're planning to go to my mum and dad's house in the south of France with some friends. Normally I wouldn't worry but the thought of getting my flabby body out in front of other people is good motiation!

blue hope the fertility wagon Volvo is nice. We love ours! Someone put an adertising leaflet under our windscreen wiper today and I was !! who dared to touch our lovely shiney car???

Oh and don't watch the great sperm race if you're worried about ttc in anyway... it's amazing we're here after all, but it's reassuring that only the fittest and fastest sperm actually get there.

Off to do the stir fry, have a lovely evening everyone

Bubblebell1 · 25/03/2009 08:30

Morning girls!

hope your well.

i didnt get to see the great sperm race. i hope its on again . mind you im a worrier so maybe its for the best.

girlwithacurl · 25/03/2009 09:45

Hi everyone! i did POAS opk and predictably it ws neg. I don't know what I was thinking, i am only on CD10 and i normally ov on CD27... I guess i just REALLY want to fast forward to ov as its sooo frustrating having to wait nearly 4 weeks to even ov. Sorry, just feeling sorry for myself, will try to perk up a bit!

Hows everyone else today?

JumpingJellyfish · 25/03/2009 10:21

head i have a houmous addiction- sounds vaguely healthy but recently read the no. of calories per pot and now know why I am struggling to regain my pre-baby figure (and DD is 20 months old)!! But I reckon it's been in a way a good thing, as I'm veggie and often low on iron- chick peas have quite a bit in them and my recent blood count was 13- so must be due to all the houmous

blue sounds like timing is going to be perfect this month! Enjoy it!

sif my DH is quite often away too, and I'm sure we do keep missing my fertile days- well that's a good excuse for why no BFP anyway- but who knows....Hope CD12 is indeed lucky for you!

bubble I missed it too, but probably a good thing- though I do love those sorts of documentaries!

girl sorry the OPK was negative. No wonder you want to fastforward- I'm impatient enough and I have a short cycle! Hope the time flies for you.

Well not much news here. Been a bit emotional so convincing myself AF is on her way. My SIL is 36wks pregnant today, and it reminded me of having DD (who was born at 36+2), and the fact I've not made it to term with either of my babes, and how much I looooong to make it to at least 37wks and have a "normal" pregnancy. I can't really complain though, as DD's was a lot less traumatic than DS's birth at 30wks. I do find even now (DS will nbe 4 next month) I get quite wobbly watching close friends pass my pregnancy milestones... Just makes me want to have one more shot at doing it "properly"...come on BFP!!

Have a good day all xxx

sifuentes · 25/03/2009 10:22

Hi everyone
I'm ok thank you bubble!
This morning i had a bit of a line on my opk stick. Less vivid than the test line. Does that mean that I will probably surge later? Does anyone know how long it takes for a surge to surge?

girl, it's good that you did test cos you just never know. I completely understand the wanting to fast forwards to trying again. I live in a constant state of wanting to be at the next stage. It's a bore, but so difficult to get out of that mindset.

I am pleased I didn't see that programme on Monday actually because I do not need to be freaking myself out, this week of all weeks.

I did not want to be imagining lots of people in white catsuits trying to run up into my cervix when I was mid bd.

nonetheless I would quite like the headlines. All i could discern from the press is that you should chill out, get pissed and have massive O's all of which sounds quite appealing, if unrealistic midweek in a busy working week.

What were the other things that I should know?

head I totally know what you mean about the thought of baring all on holiday. I dread that every year!
big white glowing thighs - WAHHH - but in fact you can stay quite covered these days with the nice little beach type dresses and kaftans they have in monsoon and topshop etc.

Hope you are all well x

HeadFairy · 25/03/2009 10:26

Sif just to f*ck us up even more, I think the rate and timing of the surge varies from month to month.

I'll be back later when ds isn't jumping on my lap!

Bubblebell1 · 25/03/2009 11:41

Glad your well Sif, on the opk front i thought that unless the test line was as dark or darker than the control line then surge wasnt happening, then when the surge is detected it can be up to 48 hrs after before u ov.

I hope you feel better/less emotional Girl and jumping i find the few days after af and before ov im down too. thinking about mc or other pg ppl. i hope you get lucky real soon

sifuentes · 25/03/2009 11:56

oh - i thought - don't know why - but that if there was a bit of a line as opposed to none that a proper line would follow shortly? maybe i am overcomplicating things.
Trying to decipher what the cervix is doing is hard too though isn't it? I mean is that hard or medium? not got much to compare it to really!

bluesatinsash · 25/03/2009 12:44

sif I'm with bubble I normally test for 3 days (getting either no or faint line) before getting 'same shade or darker than test line' and assume I'll ov over the next day or two. With all 3 pgs I concentrated on bd the evening of surge and two days after and bingo!

I'm a bit d-mob happy today as I finish up work tonight and I'm off until 6th April . Sooo looking forward to is as its the first annual leave I've had that I'm guaranteed not to mc in the middle of (see last summer/xmas).

I may not watch the sperm race programme as don't want visions of men in white catsuits when I'm getting it on with DH next week . I have to concentrate at certain bits IYKWIM .

Sending masses of babydust to girl and jumping - stay strong girls!

To those of us gearing up for lots of shagging - I salute you .

sifuentes · 25/03/2009 13:45

I do know exactly what you mean!! blue and thanks for the opk tips. looks like DP's gonna get some more akshun then...

Blue so pleased for you that you are on leave AND without poss of MC. Total shocker that one. blimey. Are you going somewhere nice?

wasabipeanut · 25/03/2009 14:26

Hi ladies - mind if I join in? Sifuentes kindly invited me in from the Grapefruit thread. We have been BFP central over there lately and hence our numbers our declining - some of us may need a new home soon.

I know some of you from previous mc threads Hope that things are going better now. As Sif knows I'm actually just due my 1st AF since ttc again after my mc in January so am feeling pretty crushed today.

I have cheered myself up by having a nice shower with lots of lovely products and eating a huge wedge of camembert with granary toast and a particularly tasty tomato chutney for lunch. I really should be working now but just feel like wallowing a bit.

SuziBhoy · 25/03/2009 14:32

hey everyone.... this thread is moving fast just thought i would post to let you all know im still in limbo on CD44 still no AF and im so frustrated!! I havent tested since last week so think i may test again!!

hope you are all well

girlwithacurl · 25/03/2009 14:37

Hi wasabi and welcome. Sorry to hear about the MC and that AF is on her way. Hope that you feel better soon, and a good camembert is a good place to start, i personally have been self medicating with brie this past week, and the power of good it has done for me!

at blue for being on leave soon... i want a holiday [wail emoticon] I feel the same about that show, it might have been interesting, but who needs those images going round and round when you are trying to concentrate on other things!

sif i don't even bother with the cervix, they are a mystery to me, and will remailn so!

jumping fingers crossed for this cycle! hope you get your chance to get to 37wks!

girlwithacurl · 25/03/2009 14:38

how frustrating suzi do you have any good symptoms we can dissect?

SuziBhoy · 25/03/2009 15:18

hey girl... well i havent had any major symptoms, but i have noticed some breast tenderness but nothing really agonising they just feel heavy (ha ha). i have also had some CM cant tell if its EW or not (sorry if TMI), but apart from that and some headaches i feel as i usually do!!

Bubblebell1 · 25/03/2009 15:22

Hi and welcome wasabi sorry to hear of your mc. Good luck for this next cycle.

Blue have a lovely holiday, fingers crossed that by the xmas holiday you will have a baby in arms or about to burst

Suzi have you made a drs app? when you gonna test?

bluesatinsash · 25/03/2009 15:29

oooh suzi - I would test again - you may be like wishing and be 12 weeks before you know it [fingers crossed emotion]. As girl says do you have any symptoms (of course PMT and BFP symptoms are bloody nai on identical...).

Welcome wasabi - I remember you from Emmsy's and sorry AF is on her rotten way. We're all ttc but in a none obsessive/slight twinkle in our eye way .

sif - we're not doing much next week, just playing with DS (and enjoying his nap times - oooh, missus) and going for runs in the new Volvo. We're going to Prestonfield House Hotel outside Edinburgh for our anniversary (its all deep red velvet curtains, gothic candles and four poster beds - very 'Meat Loaf/Celine Dion hold-the-dry-ice' music video stylee .

Better get on, I have a desk to clear

girlwithacurl · 25/03/2009 16:00

test again suzi!!!

SuziBhoy · 25/03/2009 16:23

i will deffo test ove the next few days... cant be bothered going out today [lazy emoticon] but will let you all know!!

Wishing · 25/03/2009 16:28
