Hi

MJIM - I know that I can only see Naomi in photos but she looks beautifully proportioned to me - a proper dainty little girl! Health visitors have alot to answer for imo.

Dawni - glad you are feeling better. Know what you mean about the spotting. I wish AF would just arrive and then I can start again on CD1. I think I would wait for a proper bleed to start the monitor. Although I spot on and off for days I don't count CD1 until I start to bleed heavily.

HC - sorry you are feeling so sick.

Detox - glad dd is better - hope you haven't had to watch the same programme twice on Ceebeebies (they are bad enough first time around!). I usually end up watching Balamory twice - once when we get back from the school run while I sort out and then once just before lunch.

Forgot to mention - DS1 got another headmasters award today for effort doing homework (DH says the certificate should have my name on it really )

Right - off to watch my nice clean house get turned over!

LaDiDaDi · 06/02/2009 20:37

Hello everyone, just checking by.

I hope that we get a BFP on this thread this month although from the achey feeling in my tummy it's unlikely to be me imo.

Sounds like Naomi is doing well MJM.

LuckySalem · 06/02/2009 22:01

Just a quickie so this stays on my "threads I'm on"

I'm on CD 9 but no business conducted as I have a stinking cold so dont expect a BFP from me I'm afraid.

Good luck to the rest though

MrsPuddleduck · 07/02/2009 08:31

Morning all, where have you all been? You can't all of gone down the pub last night or did you go out without me!

I am sat patiently waiting to see if AF arrives tomorrow (or I suppose could be Monday). Who else is waiting other than Dawni? I have forgotten

Keep forgetting to say that amongst all my AF pains and spotting (which hasn't been too bad) I have had a vile taste in my mouth every evening this week which I DEFINITELY have not imagined. It's a bit acidic like the taste the next morning when you drank to much wine the night before. In fact last night I had a couple of glasses to take the taste away Off to google other possible causes in case I have the lurgy!

detoxdiva · 07/02/2009 09:05

Willmouse.....no af yet AND a wierd taste in your mouth...?? I'm on the edge of my seat....keeping everything crossed for you

LaDiDaDi · 07/02/2009 09:11

AF arrived last night as I went to bed . Disappointed but not too surprised really. I think that makes my last cycle pretty short at about 25-26 days so I will try to bear that in mind this time although I think that puts peak BD time for me over a run of crap shifts at work.

Day 1 again for me.

Dawni · 07/02/2009 09:20

Good morning lovely ladies

AF has arrived so FF has started again and ive put the batteries in the clearblue monitor....Im not upset, im just going to take it all in my stride and look forward

Willmouse Hope your funny taste is actually the start of something good !!

MJIM Pleased to hear Naomi has put a little weight on, bet your feeling better now xx

La Sorry she got you too but now we are cycle buddies !!!

Going to buy a couple of DVD's today, its too damn cold to do anything except sit in front of the fire

LaDiDaDi · 07/02/2009 09:23

Enjoy your dvds Dawni, I need to go to the optician as dd has broken my glasses!

Has anyone temped whilst doing night shifts and did this affect things?

See you all later x

Dawni · 07/02/2009 09:23

By the way LaDiDaDi My AF arrived at bedtime also CD25....How freaky

LaDiDaDi · 07/02/2009 09:25

Ooh we are ttc buddies!

ChocolateEclair · 07/02/2009 11:59

Hi all - hope you are all wrapped up warm!

ladidadi and dawni - that's so weird! It must be fate that you will both conceive on the same day and your EDD will be the same!

ladidadi - I reckon as long as you temp at roughly the same time each day after at least 3 hours unbroken sleep, it wouldn't matter wether it was day or night. So if you slept during the day after a night shift you would temp when you woke up in the afternoon each day. You should still see a pattern.

willmouse - are you feeling hopeful???? I am on tenterhooks for you!

MJIM - so happy that N has put on a little weight! You must be relieved!

Mandy - soooooooo good that the scan went well - you are right - this is DEFINITELY going to happen!

HC - still feeling sick? Rich tea biscuits? Or, you know those Go-Ahead ones in little packs of 3? I found those nice and dry.

I have started a thread on baby names! Feel free to post if you like! here

HumphreysCorner · 07/02/2009 12:14

Ah Dawni and LaDiDaDi-so sorry the witch showed.

Dawni-we need to look at the possibilty of a short luteal phase but only after another month of temping. Your AF was a bit hit and miss at the beginning wasn't it? Good luck with the Clearblue, it should be spot on.

A slightly better day here but still feel dreadfully sick and have a headache. Took 2 paracetamol last night as couldn't last any longer.

Will have a look at ChocEclair's thread.

Oh, and I bought some genuine GHD straighteners which have arrived today-yay!

I will try temping from tomorrow and see how I get on, thanks for the tip re night shifts CE.

HumphreysCorner · 07/02/2009 12:32

Meant to say that a fortune teller many years ago said I would have twins but of course I thought that was a load of rubbish as I have had 2 girls.

Dawni · 07/02/2009 15:36

Ooooooo HC Do you believe ??????? Twins are in my family, but none of my cousins have had twins as yet, there is 4 of us girls and all got boys so far!! Does it matter that i have a short luteal phase ?

LaDiDaDi I got some smart 'red or dead' glasses, one pair are black and white, the others green striped, went to specsavers when the had a BOGOF offer on

Got the DVD's i wanted but DH is watching rugby, i might lay down with my hypnotherapy CD, only problem is i keep falling asleep and only catching the end as she says 'expect the very best' !!!

Got the washing done which is a good thing, think DS is going round the local pubs tonght with mates Im really not very happy about it but he says it will be fine...he has always acted and looked older than his years and i kind of hate that (IYKWIM) He is still my little boy !! At 5'9" (LOL) with size 9 feet !!

LaDiDaDi · 07/02/2009 16:08

I think that I narrowed it down to three pairs. A big problem for me is that I like lots of frames but they tend to be too wide for my face. I wasn't helped by thinking that the assistant's glasses didn't suit her so I couldn't really rely on her opinion iyswim.

My optician offers a choice of 40% off one frame or BOGOF.

Will try to find images of them and post in style.

Dawni · 07/02/2009 16:39

Good idea...The ones i liked were to wide for my face also, i like the metal frames that have wide sides with hearts or flowers in them a bit like a sillouette, the red or dead frames have alot of choices with colour, also liked the tommy hilfiger but they pinched my nose !!

Ceebee74 · 07/02/2009 17:25

Just checking in to see if there is any news of Bellie's baby...

Dawni/La for you both but this month is a new month and all that

Willmouse ooh sounds positive (dare I say???)

CE have posted on your thread - loving the idea and the names that have been mentioned!

HC be afraid, be very afraid - twins are obviously heading your way - but hopefully they will be twin boys of course

MJIM great news about Naomi - you must be relieved!!

Not much going on here - it is DH's birthday today so went for a trip to Blackpool with MIL - tres exciting

Mandy73 · 07/02/2009 18:00

Thanks for all the lovely words girls. It does feel good not waking up every morning petrified with a clinched jaw thinking 'another day of not knowing what's wrong to get through' any more.

Dawni and LaDiDaDi so sorry the b*tch got you. Still, it's kind of a good feeling knowing where you are and staring a new cycle, isn't it?
Except for my potentially abnormal pregnancy all those 2 week waits were the most insane times of my life. It just totally grinds you down doesn't it?

Willmouse don't want to seem overly optimistic here ... but I AM optimistic! Crossing everything for you. x

Lots of love to everyone, enjoy the w/e.
xx
