Wendy ..........so sorry to hear AF arrived! Sorry me babbling on about my self pitying weekend upset you.
Not sure what to say as know how gutted you must feel, all I can say is that there are so many success stories on here from people having IVF that you must hold onto that and keep your spirits up. Bugger, bugger, bugger .....sorry really miffed on your part as didn't want you to have to go through it all!
Hang in there........and here's to us all being together on a "success" thread really soon!!

Spacecadet · 09/05/2005 12:56

wendy11 so sorry

romilly · 09/05/2005 12:59

bella - i know how you feel, believe me i have those weeks too. one pg. friend has just had her scan (all fine - thank goodness, i am thrilled for her) but she said to me "well you know i havent taken anything for granted with this pregnancy after what happened to you.." and then she carried on talking about all her plans excitedly.

spacecadet - i try not to think about how many weeks i would have been by now, it depresses me too much. i had them all written in my dairy and i had to scrub them all out cause i couldnt bear it.

ok enough ttc blues, time for some more bfps...

wheres wendy?????

OP posts:
romilly · 09/05/2005 13:01

wendy11 · 09/05/2005 13:50

Thanks to everyone for your kind messages. In RL no-one knows what we are going through, mainly because we felt it was a private thing and also because it takes some of the pressure off if no-one else knows........so that is why it is so good to have all you ladies to talk to when things are not going so well. Thanks for listening. Have to get myself together and back into a more positive frame of mind and look to the future. I am sure there is a little one waiting for each of us somewhere

romilly · 09/05/2005 14:18

wendy - that's the spirit hon. we are always here to talk to of course. i know what you mean about RL - i have told close friends and family but they all avoid the topic like the plague whenever they see me, LOL - so thank god for all of you girls.

HI ladies sorry i have been a bit quiet after joining you ,but what i thought was my period finally returing it seems is not i was hoping it was so my cycle would return to normal and we could get on with ttc but its been 6 days with excessive heavy bleeding this has been going on since ds was born 8 months ago and my g.p is only sorting it now, it was light bleeding so she said it was more likley to be hormonal, she did an examination and it all looked fine, but now im not so sure this last 6 days it has been like a realy heavy period but i have to wait for next tuesday for a scan, im devistated i was hoping it was over and i could get on with things but apperently not. xxxx fingers crossed for next tuesday please send me luck xxxxxx

Lottielou · 09/05/2005 16:05

charleepeters - I'm sorry that you are going through a rough time. At least when you have your scan you will be able to know exactly whats going on! I'm sure you will be o.k. Just rest up hun and eat lots of Choccie (always helps me ) Wishing you all the luck for your scan, not that you will need it! x x

Bella23 · 09/05/2005 16:26

Charleepters - mmmm....sorry you are a bit stressed by your body, fingers crossed for you scan.
Ok ladies....having some time on my hands i have now done more research into how I can increase my chances.....and this month's top tip to try is going to be bding in the morning. Apparently that is when the sperms are at their best! I think my friend had mentioned it to me (she's now 5 months pregnant and only did the deed once) and after a little surfing I think this is the way forward.
Its going to mean setting the alarm earlier but hey.....at this stage in the game I'm ready to try anything!

Chuffed · 09/05/2005 16:36

Well I'm off in a half hour to buy some more tests from boots so I can test again in the morning. Any early digital is the best yes?
I need to know if I'm still BFN before accupuncture on Wed as obviously the treatment will be different if I'm positive or negative.

Bella23 · 09/05/2005 16:36

Good luck Chuffed

Frizbe · 09/05/2005 16:42

Ah, good tip bella, might try that myself

Wendy11 sorry its not your month....

Charliepeters good luck with your scan

Hula, point taken I'll be good and won't use that info unless I ever really have to!

How many of us are there on this thread now?

Wendy - I'm so sorry that AF arrived . Great to hear you staying positive though - fingers crossed that IVF brings you a bundle of joy (or even 2 bundles of joy ) soon.

Charleepeters - hoping your scan next week finds the cause, and that it turns out to be something very minor.

Bella - is that really true about BDing in the mornings? I'm only working one day this week, and DH is working at home (usually abroad), so maybe I'll try this this month too. Started getting CM today, so will be having a lie in tomorrow I guess . How long have you been trying for - I can't reread the whole thread to find out!!

Chuffed - fingers crossed for a +ve test result.

Bella23 · 09/05/2005 16:50

Tabs - well according to a lot of info on the web i found today it certainly seems to be the case....worth a go eh??
I have been trying since last June 04 (got pregnant in Nov and then m/c in Jan05)
My patience is wearing thin..........

Tabs · 09/05/2005 17:13

Bella - Definitely lots of patience required for this ttc malarky. I never imagined when we started trying 4 years ago that I wouldn't have a baby by now - reckoned I'd have at least 2!!

Hoping it happens soon or I'll have to start looking for another contract (am self-employed and just finishing a job), and I rather fancy the idea of taking the summer off and enjoying being pregnant!

piffle · 09/05/2005 17:22

omg did clearblue, got very very thinnest of all thin lines have posted a sep message seeking help.... dissecting the nature of the line
omg.... omg...
if it turns out to be wrong I'll be so gutted
help!

dramaqueen72 · 09/05/2005 17:40

milosmum · 09/05/2005 18:33
