Moring all

Well CD2...........sorry will have to stop doing that as its just highlighting how I am wishing my life away until at least CD13!!

Gardener started this morning and with a very dishy helper, had a very desperate Housewives moment!!

Debbsy - stop poking your boobs!! Not long to go until you can test hoorah

Hope you are all well xxx

milosmum · 05/05/2005 09:17

bella i dont think you are the only one "wishing" the time away until testing time! i know i do. im on cd10 and started testing yesterday but no luck so far....was it sunny near you yesterday?-just wondered if you has a top off shot of the dishy helper or not? god thats bad asking how desperate your moment was

Bella23 · 05/05/2005 09:23

Milosmum - desperate H moment involved me walking into the kitchen and turning round to say hello and then kinda trailing off on the word, lingering a look in his eyes, going pink and turning round really embarrassed!!
Might have to try and get some garden photos this w/kend with him in it for you girlies!

dramaqueen72 · 05/05/2005 09:41

LOL bella, looking forward to your photo!

wendy11 · 05/05/2005 09:43

Bella - LOL at your gardner moment. Hate that when all words seem to fail and you open and close your mouth like a goldfish but nothing comes out.......how attractive!!

Hope eveyone is OK this morning.

Still feeling crap from this cold. Also having nose bleeds but I think they are due to this lovely stuff I have to put up my nose twice a day....I have a sensitive sort of nose LOL

Love to you all and chat later

piffle · 05/05/2005 10:11

Question here:::
What's the earliest dpo anyone has tested and got a + result?

The 2ww makes these questions seem normal btw
I've never really tested before shortest average af date, but was just curious, must be POAS withdrawal or something.
And with both of my children I knew before I tested that the result would be +
With the ectopic it was a total surprise.
Hmmm pondering.....

RachelRog · 05/05/2005 10:22

Piffle! Your thoughts seem to be running on the same trail as mine are! I keep thinking I might do a test before I go away at the weekend when I will be 10DPO but then it might depress me if it's a BFN. Or if it's a BFP it might cast a shadow over my romantic weekend when all the worry and paranoia kicks in about m/c again.
Not sure what to do...will probably just go away, have fab weekend and wait for AF.
Not sure how early a BFP shows but would like to know!!!!

Bella23 · 05/05/2005 10:28

Ladies on here have tested from 10DPO

HandbagAddiction · 05/05/2005 10:47

I've obviously missed loads since the end of last week. Have been laid up over the weekend and the last couple of days with a nasty throat infection requiring many anti-antibiotics to make me feel normal again. Will catch up on everyone's news a bit later......but got work to catch up on now...

CD12 and using OPKs - no ovulation yet.....

HandbagAddiction · 05/05/2005 12:22

Wow - just managed to catch up with all the news!!

Munz, Bella and Hulababy - sorry about the BFNs - maybe it'll be our turn next month.

dyzzd - congratulations, the BFP is great news.

Hope everyone else is doing OK. Welcome Charleypeters - fab to have some extra people on the site.

Frizbe - are you getting ready for some more BD'ing? Am desparately hoping that OV is late this month - as DH is away from tomorrow morning until Sunday evening!

Will be back again later.......

HandbagAddiction · 05/05/2005 12:27

Sorry just read back on a few posts...I know some of you didn't actually test but AF arrived instead. Just as bad news but sorry I gotit wrong...!

romilly · 05/05/2005 13:59

bella - PMSL @ your desperate housewife story. watch out for those gardeners - my sister had one (not literally ) who was notorious for getting housewives into trouble! i think he already has about 10 illegitimate children in hampshire. must be something in his fertilizer, LOL

ok another day from hell at work so be back later

Worriedbev · 05/05/2005 14:21

Hi ladies
Just to let you know that af arrived this morning, so feeling really grotty. Thought this was my month, but never mind. Into month 14 now so counting the days until af disappears and I can get on with bedding again.
Bev

romilly · 05/05/2005 14:31

so sorry wbev

too many orders not coming in this week

OP posts:
Bella23 · 05/05/2005 14:35

Rom - laughing a the gardener of your sisters !!
Bev - sorry sweetheart !!
You, me, Munz and Hulababy are all gutted but onwards to next month as we are all on CD 1 or 2. I truly believe that hard work and perseverance simpply has to pay off soon!!!
Chocolate and red wine helped me a but last night....give it a go xxx

Lottielou · 05/05/2005 15:06

Worried Bev - Sorry Hun Gutted for you. x

How are the rest of you today?

Still no AF for me, pains were really bad yesterday, had to take two lots of painkiller. I thought that AF may show today as the pains i got really felt like it was on it's way. Maybe there is a chance they could be implantation pains as i did get confused last time i was pg with AF pains and implantation pains.
Have decided to take the plunge that if no AF saturday then will be testing.
A big bag of Maltesers and big glass of cranberry juice is really comforting me this afternoon at work!

wendy11 · 05/05/2005 18:00

Bev - so sorry I suppose it was inevitable that with so many BFP's last month that statistically we have filled our quota for this month. That can only mean one thing........the orders will start to come in again next month!! Take care of yourself Bev and onwards and upwards for another go.
(also applies to Bella, Munz and Hula )

george32 · 05/05/2005 19:02

Ooooh Bella, whats this about you & your gardener!! I bet you are glad the other one never showed now aren't you

Bev, I'm sorry about your AF.

Wendy, it has to be you testing soon. Oh, I hope that this is your month. I will be so pleased if you don't have to rely on the petri dish. Got everything crossed for you.

Rom, any positive signs for you yet? Did you get some early tests off the internet? Think 10 DPO is the one to test on (and brings the 2WW down dramatically to a 10DW - woohoo!!)

Well scan day is next Thursday when I'll be 6+5 and scared out of my wits!!! It will either be good news or I'll be straight back in here to join you so wish me luck.

Take care all
xx

romilly · 05/05/2005 19:08

george - wishing you all the stickiest babydust in the world for your scan nxt thursday. we'll be thinking of you.

Ah Wendy's right, all of our babies, don't want to be Christmas babies, they want us to be able to buy their prezzies in the January Sales! how thoughtful of them

Oh just had the thought that as so many orders didn't come in this month, maybe they're doubling up for Feb, maybe we're all going to have twins

Anyway CD13 and game on for me (if my chart and fluids are right, sorry about TMI) looks like dh is in for a good night/weekend weyyyyy heyyyyyyy

Oh Handbag, hope your ov is late this month for you fingers x'd, you must grab dh on Sunday night!

Frizbe · 05/05/2005 19:14

milosmum · 05/05/2005 20:28

my god- i really really hate men sometimes!WARNING RANT IMMENANT!! today was our wedding anniversary not only does the selfish git "nip into work" but he also stays there for 4 hours!!!! so much for a day of "togetherness" in bed! told the sod we cant conceive so much as a bloody peanut if hes not with me! to his crddit he did say sorry but how annoying is it that he did it in the first place! i was really looking forward to sometime together, his gift was lovely and he had flowers delivered in the morning, took ds to school so i could stay in bed, blah, blah and then bloody ruins the lot! it wasn t even that important (what he went to work for!), nothing that couldn t have waited until 2morrow. Told him i may as well go into work- no point wasting a holiday and do you know what he said? he said why would i want to go into work on our anniversay!!!!! has this guy got short term memory loss or what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry ladies but i feel better now thats out of my system!

Frizbe · 05/05/2005 22:21

oooooohhhh grrrrrrrrrrr, for you, men are sooo crap sometimes.

Hulababy · 05/05/2005 22:33

Grrrr on your behalf milosmum.

:{ sorry about AF Bev

Well, DD has got chicken pox! Have a big night out all planned and paid for (cost loads!) at a Ball on Saturday so hoping she remains in good spirits and not poorly with it so I am happy to go. Really need the break TBH; the stress from the non house move (as it stands right now) is getting so bad! So fingers crossed.

Need my stress levels to reduce - can't be good for TTC.
