milosmum - i have got to tell you that i would be pretty damn impressed with d/h even remembering the anniversary - let alone the lovely "gift" "flowers" "taking kid to school so i could lie in" - i dont think he's doing that badly, i mean give him a break, he is only a man, LOL...

Lottielou · 06/05/2005 09:04

Morning, Well i plucked up the courage and did a test last night. I refuse to believe it so am going to leave it a few days and test again.

munz · 06/05/2005 09:08

bev sorry about AF hon (((hugs))) looks like they'll be a few of us for next month then for our BFP's!

RR - i'd leave it till monday to test as u don't want to spoil u're weekend, and on mondya u'll be able to get to the drs so it will feel like you're able to be more pro active with everything.

rom - lol, can my DH have some fertilizer of the gardeners please?? lol looking forward to the pic already esp if he's anything like mr mike the plumber! lol.

bella - yep, I think there's four of us at the same point isn't there, u me hula and bev, hopefully we'll all be v v lucky, we'll ahveto pinch some baby dust from one of the anti natal threads!

talking of which are we sticking with this thread as it's been so good or are we moving on for a new one?

any ideas on the excuse I can give the boss for next thrusday as I don't want her to know about my tests (v v bitchy at work and it's not somehting I want broad casted about) and as i'm on a 2 week holiday now she'll be asking why I want another day off so soon after. also DH is at home so I cna't even say I have to wait in for the boiler man or something - any thoughts?

(also glad not to be having a jan baby as ages ago I had a premonition i'd have a little girl born around 10th feb - so that means this month to get PG! )

Hulababy · 06/05/2005 09:09

sorry about bfn lottielou

HandbagAddiction · 06/05/2005 09:20

Morning all!

Lottielou - sorry to hear about the BFN .

Munz - definitely prefering the prospect of a late jan/early feb baby....an excuse to buy more presents and a maternity leave that stretches just that little bit further into the summer. Would be a nightmare for me if it turned about to be a girl though...as all dd's 'hand me downs' would be 6 months out of season!!

Frizbe - cd13 for me today and no OV yet according to my latest pee-stick this morning! DH is now away until Sunday evening...so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that OV is slightly late and DH is under strict instructions to be 'up for it' on his return!!

Hope everyone else is OK.

lol bella !!

Reminds me of my recent chiropractor experience who got recommended to me by a fellow nursery mum. Couldn't believe my luck when said chiropractor came out of his treatment room and asked me to go in...couldn't believe my horror and embarrassment when (on asking me to strip down to underwear and put a 'backless' robe on) I realised what underwear I had on that day!! . Needless to say, DH was not impressed when I answered his question of 'how was the chiropractor' with an answer of 'gorgeous' !!

Bella23 · 06/05/2005 09:59

Handbag - ooh horrified at the thought of backless gown in front of gorgeous man......ARH

Frizbe · 06/05/2005 09:59

handbag and bella, I would love to say what are you two like! but I know I'm no better, can't beat a bit of eye candy can you You should see one of my aikido instructors, phwor, but he's only 22, oopse! (doesn't look it tho!)

Lottie but like bella says, its not over yet.

Hula, hope your weekend goes well and dd isn't too itchy.

Hugs to all and have a good one.

for all us on CD 1/2,

bella - no good, mum lives 200 miles away and the boss would be asking other ppl I work with what's going on, it's a small family business where everyone has to know ur business. was thinking up somehting along the lines of cos I cna't be arsed to come in!

Lottielou · 06/05/2005 10:56

Thanks Ladies! I feel like total crap today, really emotional! I know i'm not alone so have to keep smiling! Onwards and upwards and all that i guess!

piffle · 06/05/2005 11:42

Hula hope your gorgeous little dd doesn't get the CP too badly.
Debbs sounding positive we drive ourselves mad with all this breast poking!
8dpo am whistling away to myself killing time, not even daring to hope this month!
Munz, my ds was born on Feb 10 9194 and my last af date was 22apr the yr before, strange what you remember and he's gorgeous of course

Hulababy · 06/05/2005 11:47

Thanks piffle; right now she is perfectly fine. Apart from the abundance of pink spots and some blisters you'd not know she had them. So far thois morning we hae painted and glued, we have played Pop up Pirate, fuzzy felts and snap. And done colouring and stickers. She is now giving me a break whilst she plays with her Happy Land. My dad is coming at 3 whilst I go and have my hair highlighted (first time ever I have done that!) So DD will have someone different to play with for a bit.

CD8 (I think) here so another week or so before I have to think about OV again.

milosmum · 06/05/2005 13:09

OP posts:
romilly · 06/05/2005 14:37

milosmum - if in doubt...bd anyway - you are probably getting pretty close

OP posts:
Bella23 · 06/05/2005 14:47

Seeing as I have a high speed connection then I'm not bothered either way for a new thread.

Rom - seeing as you started this thread I think that we should wait until after you've tested. Its only 8 days time

Lottielou · 06/05/2005 15:02

Rom - since my m/c i was wiating for AF to arrive but DP n i slipped up on a number of occaisons, couldn't wait for AF. Wasn't going to tell anyone as really didn't think it would happen. but it'll be 5 weeks and still no AF. Went to the docs the other day and he said that i should test when i felt ready to. So i plucked up the courage yesterday and did it, BFN . He said to test every 2-3 days after if i dont get AF. I've been feeling really crappy, all bloated, boobs are sore and been feeling sicky and tired. All signs for PG but again all signs for AF too. Wish my body would makes it's mind up. If i'm not PG then i wish AF would show her face so i can get back on track asap.
Had realy bad cramping pains day before yesterday and dull pains today. Arggghhhhhhh. i just want to know!!!

Worriedbev · 06/05/2005 16:48

Hi everyone
I just havent had a moment to day to get on the board, a really hectic day at work, still it is nearly over now, leaving at 5 and counting every minute, cant wait for the winding down to the weekend time.

On day 2 now and hating the sight of af, wish she would hurry up and go away. I am really heavy this month, it seems heavier than normal. I hate seeing af at the best of times, but over the weekend, I hate it even more, just wish she would disappear.

Hope everyone has a good weekend and I hope to get on the computer from home this weekend if dd lets me, bless her, she is good, I always ask if I can go on and she says "oh no not that baby thing again" so she does know what is going on, She is 11 so I like to try and involve her in everything if I can, I dont like having any secrets from her, she is my strength through everything.
love Bevx
