WorriedBev - hang in there lady, I so know how you feel with the "it will never happen" but we have to belive it will!

Wendy - how you are you?

Lots of love to you all on this gorgeous Sunday, hope you are enjoying the weather xx

Cadmum · 01/05/2005 17:45

Romilly, I am hoping and praying that you will be leaving this thread in 3 1/2 weeks and it would be ideal if you could take everyone else with you!

I will try to get Caddad to check up on you and give you all an accasional update. Make sure that you either keep this thread or make the name of the next one really obvious... (Maybe leave me a link like you did for this one Rom?)

I am trying to keep my chin up here but DH leaves in 45 minutes and my Rendez-vous plans for 2 weeks time are on the back-burner because it is a 61/2 hour train journey each way and we would arrive late Friday and have to leave early Sunday so it would not really be worth the $$$! I am wondering how this ever seemed like a good idea... I am really praying that this will lead to an amazing full-time position with the UN in Geneva!

I will miss you all.

Hereshoping: How are you holding out?

Please all feel free to CAT me as DH will read me any emails...

Bye for now.

munz · 01/05/2005 19:05

morning all, just a quicky as the inlaws r here, tested yesterday - sorry girls I couldn't stand it any longer, was a BFN most distressed they're early tests so no luck for me this month also i'm biting DH's head off left right and centre so it's not long, not to mentio i'm sleepin for at lesat 12 hours each night.

hope everyone's OK, will come on again when I can.

love to you all.

dramaqueen72 · 01/05/2005 19:41

yey! bella test when youre ready, sorry didnt meant o force your hand, I know what its like wanting to/not wanting to.. Munz, sorry it was BFN, but dont give up just yet, even tho those test say early, its only because some ladies have foudn they worked early,so they use it as a great selling promotion, YOU may not show enough HCG til youre actually officially late, EVEN with an early test, if that makes sense.I read it in the 'small print' of MY early tests.
cadmum, I'm so sorry dh is going away, I hope it makes the great job come true and that BFP hurry up. hang in there, I'll email you and dh can relay it sometimes if thats okay.
wendy, hey hows it going, I want to know how its all going now? whats next for your treatment?
and yes, unfortunately I'm really sick...never mind, trying to remember, as you say, its usually a good strong sign alls well. blurgh tho.
Bev, pick up each box at sainsburys and see when it says to test. if its a clear blue you have, well they may not be extra sensetive but they are spot on, and EVERYONE goes and gets one of them after a 'cheap' test just to convince themselves!! hth
I'm checking in til the ttc cautious gang get the BFP..............

romilly · 01/05/2005 19:59
  • well theres a few things here that have made me really sad tonight - cadmum's going munz got a bfn . munzie hon, i'm with dramaqueen - you cant be sure until AF arrives - how many dpo are you anyhow?

cadmum - you will be sorely missed. i promise to always come back to this thread and leave a link for you so you know where we all are.

DQ - sorry about you feeling rough, but also glad you've got all the good healthy sticky signs. go bake some ginger cookies

bella - oh bella sweetie! are you 12dpo or something now? babydust for bella and worriedbev and of course munz

lets hope this thread works some more of its magic for you girlies..

wendy thanks for saying you'll stick with me too! we are all going to do it as cadmum said

now just the agonizing 2ww for me, pleased with my (and mr. roms ) performance over the last four days so now just have to behave myself and stay off the booze.

OP posts:
Bella23 · 01/05/2005 20:12

Rom - ooh a good performance from Mr Rom that's what we like to hear Soyou are entering the 2 WW which is really dull but sounds like this month you might have cracked it
Am on CD24 and last month had a show of AF by now so am feeling a little hopeful although feel almost like screaming on the inside as just don't want to get my hopes up too much in case of a BFN!! Am going to throw caution to the wind and test tomorrow morning with one of George's early tests she sent me, hoping they are filled with babydust.

Cadmum - arh sorry to hear that the travel plans to see DH aren't working out....
Arh, will miss you honey.

DQ - don't be daft....was only kiddding on telling you off for making me test.....like I need the encouragement

Munz - hang in there, the fat lady hasn't sung, still really early. If you've got loads of cheap tests then do another one tomorrow, keeping everyting crossed.

Well off to distract myself with a bit of TV.....

george32 · 01/05/2005 20:48

Bella, I've just run away from the family to find out how you got on with testing. I'm sorry you got scared but are you a "GO GO GO" for tomorrow then? How many DPO are you now? Oh I so hope its a BFP.
Munz, I'm so sorry for your BFN but as DQ says, there is still time yet.
Cadmum, can't believe you are off for months on end. I think your trips to see DP are worth every penny. Get yourself some OPKs and if it is the right time then go!! Please nip in if you can & let us know how you are even if it's only quickly. Will miss you but I do hope you come back with some good news for us.
Rom, are you all stocked up with cheap, early pg tests? I'm so glad you got the bding in at the right time this month - that has to be a good sign. You won't be left behind, we will all be willing you on til you get your BFP
Wendy, where are you up to in your cycle. Are you anywhere near testing yet or have I missed you somewhere?
Good luck to everyone else this month too.
Will check in again in the morning to see how you get on Bella. In the meantime, stand here please..............

Bella23 · 01/05/2005 22:03

George - THANKS....am standing under the dust!

Lialocket - mmmm.....doesn't sound great does it? Possible that you were pregnant and had very early m/c? Sorry honey, that would be my initial thought! {{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}

Bella23 · 01/05/2005 22:04

george32 · 02/05/2005 08:18

Oh Bella,
I'm so sorry.
I really thought it was your month this month what with your relexology & the early tests.
I know how gutted you must feel.

Hang in there. You are doing everything right so it will happen in time.
{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
xx

Debbsy · 02/05/2005 08:29

oh bella so sorry im certain it will happen for you v soon as u are doing everything right ((((hugs))))

Toothache · 02/05/2005 08:59

Good GOD this thread is long!!

Lialocket - Was the bleeding very heavy?? And When was you're last AF? If it was very light it could've been an implantation bleed. Don't give up hope, you may still be pregnant! Have you tried another pregnancy test? If teh line is stronger this time then the odds are you're still pg, but the only way to know for sure is to have a scan. Have you been to your GP? They can detect a heartbeat on a scan from 6wks after LMP. Fingers crossed.

Spacecadet · 02/05/2005 09:48

hi everyone, thanks for the welcome, yes toothache i am mad! i never denied it!
here are my stats.
aged 32(ocp nurse, still on mat leave)
5 children, 4 living(ist stillborn)
dd1 aged 13
ds1 aged 11
ds2 aged 4
dd2 aged 9 months.
yes our latest baby wasnt planned but after losing her i feel i couldnt not try again, stupid though it may seem.

dramaqueen72 · 02/05/2005 10:49

oh bella, i'm sorry, really really sorry. so this is af starting? how crap. have large glass of red wine for me and take it easy today. ((((hugs)))

wendy11 · 02/05/2005 11:13

Bella - I am so sorry that af has reared her ugly head. Sending you lots of love and hugs and hope Mr Bella is especially good to you today.

I am now either 11, 8 or 6 dpo depending on which interpretation method I use on fertility friend. Have to say at the moment I am using the research method as I like the look of the chart it is giving me Don't really hold out much hope for this cycle.

At least Bella you will have all the fun of BD'ing next cycle, my BD'ing will be done in a petri dish

Rom - Aghhhh......the dreaded 2ww. How are the temps? Out of curiosity which setting do you use on ff.

George - good to see to are still dropping in on us. Any sickness yet?

DQ - just waiting to see if af turns up. Having dreams that I am pg naturally and that I will have to tell that horrible nurse that I misbehaved, didn't use contraception and am now pg. It would nearly be worth the telling off just to see her face! Oh well a girl can dream.
In the even that my dreams don't come true I will be starting the stimming injections on the 21st May with a view to egg collection on the 2nd June. I will keep you informed of what is happening.

Hope everyone else is OK today. For once we seem to have got beautiful weather for the bank holiday
Off out for the day so will catch up later on

Worriedbev · 02/05/2005 11:31

Did hpt this morning, 14 day past ov and negative, cant believe it. I am gutted. No af yet though, but no pains either and sicky feeling and aching boobs have gone. Not sure what is going on , is my body playing tricks on me. Can worry or stress delay af even if I have ovulated? Just waiting for af to arrive now. Then at least I can start again. Really hoped it was my month.

Sorry to hear af got you Bella, doubt if mine is very far away. We have just got to stay strong and pray that we will be next.
Bevx

Bella23 · 02/05/2005 11:43

Thanks for all the lovely words ladies, so bloody hard this TTC isn't it ??!!

Wendy - praying that you will be next so that you don't have to do IVF, keeping everything crossed for you

Bev - no AF though so still some hope, again keeping everything crossed for you

Well back on the hamster wheel then......had a good cry this morning, got it out of my system....so onwards and upwards!!

Frizbe · 02/05/2005 12:50

Oh Bella sorry its not your month, will throw lots of baby dust your way for Feb baby (like mine hopefully will be )

Munz and Bev, like several people have said, its not over until AF shows, so fingers x'd for you both, as hormone levels do have to build enough to show on tests and even one day one of your missed period, there may not be enough to show, as it doubles every two days, so here's hopeing for you both.

Wendy good luck to you, hope it all works out.

Rom, stuff it, have a drink mate, its the last time in 9 mths your going to be able to! and one small glass never hurt anyone (remember I had a heavy session the week before I found dd was hanging around and she's fine!)

Hope your all having a fun bank hols, (apart from those of you not in the uk of course, who are hopefully having a fun day anyway!)

aww bella hun am gutted for u...hugs

romilly · 02/05/2005 17:02

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh no bella
and worriedbev too - dammit

i really thought this was your month bella - am so sorry hon. yes, this ttc is bloody hard work - no doubt about it. it feels like an incredibly long journey sometimes. anyway we all know exactly how you feel - but you have to just think IT WILL happen, look at nemo, george, dramaqueen, heres & Ybear - it will be your turn soon. you've done it before and you will get pg. again.

frizbe is right - we all need a big bank-holiday drink now

wendy - my temps are weirdly lower than normal and i was totally thrown by fertility friend deciding that my 0 day was CD11 and not CD13 as i thought. i use "advanced" setting but "research" gives me the exact same result. it still gives me a "good" rating for the bd'ing but not "high". must say it surprised me because i would have said two days later from my temps. must admit, did sleep-in over bank holiday so temp times were a bit all over the place so maybe they have taken that into account. oh jeeez, listen to me boring on - lets just wait and see. so i'm 3dpo...

hi george and dqueen and nemo - our lovely preggie ladies who are making sure we all get there

chin up bella - i know you'll do it.

OP posts:
george32 · 02/05/2005 19:53

W Bev, so sorry for you getting a BFN . You never know, might be too early to test - keep hopeful.
I hope your dream is an omen Wendy. Wouldn't that be wonderful this month. I'm so keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Rom, I only got a "good" rating on FF for my BDing (timing rather than performance!!) so you obviously don't have to be perfect!
Stay cheery Bella, this month, defintely this month, and Feb is a lovely month to have a baby.

Spacecadet · 02/05/2005 21:07

im a bit confused re ovulation prediction etc, never had to use it. do i need get one of those kits or shall i just throw caution to the wind, i have no idea when i will ovulate,[confused emoticon]

Hulababy · 02/05/2005 21:09

Just checking in to say hi Not had much time to post in past few days.
