Rom - well done on the bd'ing front. After bd'ing I always think of the start of the "Look Whos Talking" films about the sperm chating to each other on their way to the egg. So hopefully that is what is happening right now with you WARNING - do not share that thought with your DH....... I made the mistake of telling DH just after we had finished BD'ing....well I will not repeat what he told me LOL

Worriedbev - sound very promising. Hope you have some good news to share with us very soon.

Bella - where are you? As my mother would say......suppose you have been off out galavanting

romilly · 30/04/2005 19:06

LOL wendy go on - what did he say, you've made me v. curious now...

piffle - glad you got ff back and everything sounds v. hopeful for you - also sounds promising for worriedbev, hope you are a little less worried now!

friz - thks for dust, always gratefully accepted

SO who is testing tomorrow????????? bella hmmm?

NO new thread until rom's tested too - even if i have to talk to myself on here

OP posts:
milosmum · 30/04/2005 19:10

believe me rom you WILL NOT be talking to yourself on this thread everyone agrees - no new one till we have our quota of babydust...

charleepeters · 30/04/2005 19:15

hi ladies me and dh are staring 'trying' tonight i have no idea where i am in my cycle since its been so messed up so its kinda hit and hope! lol im keeping my fingers crossed dont knoww hen im due so i will have to wait untill i come on to track my cycle but were gonna start before that to get the practice in lol! good luck to all testers x

milosmum · 30/04/2005 19:22

good luck charlee-

charleepeters · 30/04/2005 19:38

Thanks milosmum is there anyway of predicting when your ovulating without charting your cycle i heard your temperature rises is that a myth? is there anyother ways of knowing?

milosmum · 30/04/2005 19:42

are you checking your cervical mucus???

charleepeters · 30/04/2005 19:46

sorry peobably being such a thicko what am i checking it for? its kinda like stricgy egg white what does that mean (sorry if to many details) my temp is up a bit i was kinda hoping that was a sign any other things to look for?

milosmum · 30/04/2005 19:51

your CM will normally be creamy and whiteish but around the time of ov it will be "runny" or "wetter" than norm and it will look rather like raw egg white- this with a temperature rise will give you a good idea.. are you using opks? as they are great to confirm all this. Dont worry about asking too many questions i was a newbie not so long ago and have learnt sooooo much from the ladies on here. Also have you checked out Fertilityfriend.com as that is an excellent site for info and invaliable if you want to chart....

charleepeters · 30/04/2005 19:58

I wish i could chart it my cycle is seriously so messed up i havent had a regular cycle since ds was born but i have had a period this month dont remember when it was didnt take much notice of it because of my messed up cycle my g.p has put me on so many pills and stuff and they cant work out why im still having irregular bleeding after all this time but im pretty sure it was a period i had about 2 weeks ago, i have given up with drs and im going it alone, to be honest im not sure if i will beable to concieve but im gonna bloody try!

milosmum · 30/04/2005 20:03

good for you!! i think you should start putting everything down in a diary. my cycle is a little pi**ed but just remember you will ALWAYS have AF 14 days after ov as its the beginning of the cycle thats messed up not then end! (always thought that was a good bit of info!)if you write everthing down you can then at least get an idea and maybe start using opks or temping...when i started using opks it was kinda pot luck when to start testing but i now have a clear pattern. i never even noticed the change in CM but the ladies on here are so clued up and its obviously good as theres soo many falling pregnant!

romilly · 30/04/2005 20:18

charleepeters - milosmum has given you excellent advice - CM is really the best indicator of when to do the deed - so that is the all important thing to keep an eye on clear and stretchy (up to an inch between your fingers of stretchiness, is peak egg white cm) and it dries up pretty sharpish after you have ovulated.

milosmum - v. pleased to hear you'll be sticking with this thread too

cadmum - hope you are not feeling too . so which month does d/h get back?

OP posts:
milosmum · 30/04/2005 20:21

Romilly: You will never be left on this thread by yourself! I fully expect to find that you have all moved on to the anti-natl threads by the time I return in August. That is a direct order--YOU HEAR!?!?

Bella23 · 01/05/2005 09:38

Bella23 · 01/05/2005 10:44

DQ - stop tempting me to test !! Only kidding, yes might give in a do it tomorrow.
Yes thanks ladies for rooting for me, so nice to have support

Debbsy · 01/05/2005 11:08

Bella bella bella test test test monday GOOD LUCK WILL BE THINKING OF YOU.

Bella23 · 01/05/2005 11:21

Thanks Debbsy
DQ - sorry meant to say hope you don't feel too sick, bless.

nail biting.............

Worriedbev · 01/05/2005 12:08

Bella and all those that are hoping for me. I am day 24 now, no sign of af. If I ovulated on day 11, does that mean af will definitely show 14 days after that, or can it be longer if I have different length cycles. My last three cycles were 24, 28 and 26 in length so dont know when to test. Still not holding out much hope though, I just think it will never happen for me. DH doesnt think so either, he thinks his gut feeling is we will need professional help to get pg. Off to Sainsburys in a minute, might pick up a hpt, do have some clearblue ones that were given to me by ocs but someone said these ones arent that sensitive. What are the best ones to use for early testing?
love Bevx

Debbsy · 01/05/2005 12:24

ohhh Bev you never know good luck hun test when u feel ready BEST OF LUCK there are some tests that are on ebay that are reaaly sensitive have a look.

wendy11 · 01/05/2005 14:47

Just popping in quickly to see of there is any good news from our testers but I see I am going to have to wait until tomorrow. This is much better than any soap opera on TV for cliff hanger situations Really hope there is good news for someone soon.

Rom - please don't think you are going to be left here on your own. I have panic attacks about the exact same thing happening to me......so we will do out best to all move on together.

DQ - good to hear from you. Sorry you are feeling a bit sicky but it is all for a good cause and they always say sickness is a good sign.

Hope everyone else is OK and enjoy your weekend.
