george - where did you get your 10 mil ones from? the earliest i could get were the 25 ml. think next month i'm just going to test from 7dpo because it seems to work for everyone else, LOL - and there was me trying desperately hard to listen to the fertility friend experts and wait til 14dpo.

i am not off anywhere nice, unfortunately its work - although some people might think its nice - but work is work IYKWIM

hi milosmum and debbsy!

Bella23 · 21/04/2005 20:53

Evening all ladies.
Well after all my moaning about my job I have applied for a new job today. I was so miserable at work this morning and getting so pre-occupied with getting pregnant as a way out of it that I thought I can't carry on like this so have bitten the bullet and applied. Recruitment bloke phoned me and my CV is perfect so just going to see how it goes. I think just taking some action is making me feel a lot better. Just thought I would share seeing as you'd all listened to me whinge on
Sorry quick post before ER....xxxx

romilly · 21/04/2005 22:50

bella - that sounds a wise move. hope it all works out for you. if you are so unhappy in your current job - it can only be a good thing. of course you know what will happen now, LOL, you'll get your dream job and BFP at the same time!

romilly · 22/04/2005 08:52

awww debbsy - i can relate to that one! i think i am famous on this thread for messing up the bd'ing at important times! always manage to get into a stupid row or something. it must be the added stress. PMSL @ cleaning the dogs ears with cotton buds though! Eeeeeuw!!

Romilly
The same thing happened to me this month. Got postive on the opks on Monday and Tuesday, the last time we bedded was on Sunday night. He didnt want to know, did he. He said he was shattered and not in the mood. I cried myself to sleep both nights and told him I dont want to be bothered any more. I am so distressed as my temperature went up yesterday and stayed up today so I can assume if it goes up again tomorrow I have ovulated. Dam him, I hate him sometimes. Been trying for 13 months and really wanted to try this month as second month of using opks. We didnt really try before, just didnt use contraception. I have got to the point now where I am not going to tell him anymore that I am trying. We can just do it when he wants. I must admit last night I made a move towards him and we did it, but too late, the sod! So dont despair we will have to stick together on this, we are obviously both in the same boat.Bev

Bella23 · 22/04/2005 09:03

Morning all ladies.
Birthday is on Tuesday so not been missed yet.

Debbsy - poor you - I so know how you feel. Men just don't get the urgency do they? Its taken a few full blown rows for my DH to get the message loud and clear that he needs to come to bed early in order that bd can take place at the right times. I also find that I bite my tongue a lot more around ov time just to prevent arguments which I hate doing !! Hang in there, and make sure you get him sorted for tonight.

Am off to Bath tonight for a long weekend which I am really looking forward to. Fingers crossed for the weather.

Well am officially entering the 2 week wait....
Wendy - any news on the OPK front? I hope so.

DQ - how are you feeling?

Rom - feeling any better?

Best do some work.........hope you all have nice weekends in store xxx

Bella23 · 22/04/2005 09:06

WorriedBev - arh sorry you are going through it at the moment also with your DH. Honestly sometimes you could quite easily strangle them

dramaqueen72 · 22/04/2005 09:46

bella, you and george both replied to my email at the same time, and i was pmsl at then.....
glad havent missed your birthday btw! we can have a cyber one here. i'm off to buy fimbles today....sigh, my life of glamour...NOT! promise dd2 fimbles shopping......
debbsey, sounds familiar! i think we all argue on or aournd o day, - its the pressure we put on ourselves then. take it easy on yourself, trya dn bd when you can, and if its nto this month, then next month NOT telling dh and just making sure it does happen when its suppposed to sounds like a good plan. i gave my dh such an ear bashing this month about how we missed the chance and how inconsiderate he was (he was 'tired' also) so when i got a BFP he got very smug about it, and is still gloating now actually. men! cant live with, and apparently cant live without them!

HandbagAddiction · 22/04/2005 10:08

Morning! Quick update from me...did a normal NON digital ClearBlue test this morning...and it was negative! So, massively disappointing, but at least I know for certain now!

So.....anyone know where my AF has got to?? 3 days late now - which is a very for me - and still no signs at all...not even spotting!

At this rate by the time it comes...it'll push my fertile time right into the weekend when dh is away on some outward bound training weekend. Typical eh?

Good luck to everyone else who is still waiting to hear...

Frizbe · 22/04/2005 10:13

Hi all, sorry to hear some dh's are being a pain in the bum, men eh, can't live with em......
I'm in the same boat as you handbag, although I haven't tested again....still waiting 3 days late.......will test Monday if not appeared by then (sure will have!) have a great weekend girls, if today is anything to go by it should be nice and sunny!

Bella23 · 22/04/2005 10:26

Handbag - sorry the news isn't better! Not sure what is going on with your AF then, bizarre. Hope you have a nice w/kend planned
DQ - glad you liked the info, we need to get Rom to complete it, get her to cat her e-mail address?

Diddle · 22/04/2005 10:27

handbagaddiction - If you're only 3 dasy late you never know it may not show up on a test yet. i'd wait another 3 days and if there is still no sign of AF then test again. The same happened to me and i waited and tested again and got a BFP.
You never know, you might be.

Frizbe · 22/04/2005 11:37

ooo Diddle your making me want to test now! have been feeling a bit sicky for the last week, but reckon that could just be psychosamatic (splling?!) if you know what I mean! I will wait till monday.....I will wait till monday....

Bella23 · 22/04/2005 11:41

Frizbe - we on this thread just luuuuurve testing so get yourself a drawer full of cheap tests from e-bay and then test away to your heart's content!
....we don't believe in the will power of waiting!

Know exactly what you mean about the phychosomatic symptoms........I am 1 day post OV...yes that's 1 day! and I am already thinking that my stomach feels tender low down and imagining all sorts!!!!.......how pathetic is that!!

Frizbe · 22/04/2005 11:46

Bella, no I'm gona wait! I'm a sucker for punishment!

Lottielou · 22/04/2005 11:54

Morning Girlies!
How are you all today?
Frizbe - you have the patience (sp?) of a saint, i could not deal with waiting! fingers crossed tho hun.
Bella - how you feeling today? Teeth/mouth still sore hun? Good on you for applying for a job, i hope it works out for ya x
teuch - Sorry for this month

Lottielou · 22/04/2005 12:10
