afternoon all, been to the gyno, had a good visit actually nothing to worry about, she seems to htink I may not OV on my shorter months (every other one then!) but says not to worry too much - yeah right! she did a swob for chylmidya (sp) again as a matter of course, she checked my cervix whilst she was in the area, and said everythings perfectly healthy there, and in the straight down postion whihc is good, also that I have 'classic' EWCM today and she asked when I OV, which was yesterday (or o I thought) anyhow has re newed my hopes as we'll be BD today, so u never know, so ladies u don't need to actually see the EMCM dripping so to speak cos I never have done but it's in the important place. have had blood tests done again fro rubella anti bodies and such likes, and she's booked me in for the lap dye thingy, so all go this end at least it's productive, next apt isn't until august but i'm hoping young rom over there has bumped me to the top of the que! lol.

wend/WB (((hugs))) we all get down girls, main thing I find to help is keep busy and get DH/P to pamper you!

come on girls we will get there!

Lottielou · 21/04/2005 14:59

Hi Piffle. How are you? This is a rather long tread isn't it! It's brought great luck tho so stick with it!

teuch · 21/04/2005 16:57

Hi folks,

lots going on here! AF arrived today to CD1 for me...longest cycle ever at 35 days, I am convinced that my body was trying really hard to please me...or frustrate me!

So looks like I actually O'd on around CD20 which is really annoying as DH was back but we were tired and thought it was too late ggrrrrr!

Totally agreeing on the EWCM stuff...anybody checking their Cervical Position (CP)?

Oh well, looking forward to lots of BD-ing and hopefully the good fortunes of this strand reach us!
Teuch

romilly · 21/04/2005 17:37

Frizbe · 21/04/2005 18:27

teuch sorry for this month, but lots of fun to be had in the coming one! still waiting here!

george32 · 21/04/2005 18:36

Busy, busy, busy!!!
W Bev, I think the only OPKs to trust are the Clearblue ey ones as they give you a definite answer. They have worked for both me & Mishi in the first month of using them. It sounds like you might need a proper basal thermometer if your temps are all over the place. Here is a cheap one online that I bought & used. You are temping at the same time every morning aren't you? (6.15am every bloody morning for me!!)

Oooh Bella, of course its your birthday too. Are you really staying teetotal? What CD are you on now? Going to post the tests to you tomorrow so that they are with you in time for early testing
Glad you are a bit better Rom, Are you off anywhere nice?

How long do you think this thread can get before it does totally fall over? Got to be one of the longest on Mumsnet I would have thought.

milosmum · 21/04/2005 19:10

hi all, did an ov test yesturday and today as today is my cd14 but no luck so far and cm confirms that...can t even have a glass of wine to drown my sorrows as im in work early 2morro and i ve not drunk a sip since xmas anyhow...(yeah me! .it looks like ive passed the sorrows around and since my post yesterday you are all at it!we ll just keep going- we have to, they arent gonna come on their own. life would be so much simpler if you could order them from a catalogue..

Debbsy · 21/04/2005 19:12

BLIMEY busy thread today ladies ahhh we all get down sometimes and this ttc can be terribly stressful and upsetting( i feel it too) but look at all th positives there was fresco, expat,dq,george hope i havent missed any one out and that was only in the space of ten days so cheer up ladies and dry your eyes STAY POSITIVE and im sure we will all have a beautiful bouncing baby soon enough good luck to anyone bding and testing xxx cd 10 for me lots of bding to be done as calista says coming up to ovulate

milosmum · 21/04/2005 19:13

Debbsy · 21/04/2005 19:25

oohh sorry nemo and Nemo ladies

milosmum · 21/04/2005 19:31

i suppose that kind of proves you point-theres been so many its got be to our term next!

milosmum · 21/04/2005 19:31

that should be turn NOT term!!!!!

george32 · 21/04/2005 19:32

MMum, have you done a p/g test recently? Wasn't your cycle a bit muddled earlier this month with the OPKs saying you O'd and then spotting and then positive OPK again? Just with you still waiting for a positive OPK. Might be nothing but just wondering thats all

milosmum · 21/04/2005 19:41

im with you there george- and well ahead- did a teat this morning and nothing-not even the faintest of line, basically a BFN.... but if i dont ov or have AF in the week or so i will do another- heres hoping..

milosmum · 21/04/2005 19:42

again that should be test not teat!!! i ve no idea why i cant spell!!!

george32 · 21/04/2005 19:44

Have you got the really early 10mi ones? Are you temping at all?

milosmum · 21/04/2005 19:48

not temping as it really confuses me (believe me it doesn t take much). i dont think the preg test was early- hummmmm maybe i need to get some. with my ds i did a test 12 days after ov and it showed a line but v v faint....and that was on a normal preg test...

george32 · 21/04/2005 19:56

Hmmmm, strange.
Fertility Friend makes temping really simple. You just have to make sure you do it at the same time each morning before you do anything else. Looking back on it you can see clear temperature shifts for ovulation so even though your cycle might be going weird it can at least confirm when you ovualte and helps you to keep track of where you are.
I'll keep everything crossed for you over the coming week though.

milosmum · 21/04/2005 20:01

yes i ve just been looking into it on the babycentre and they explain it better than some sites i ve been on. i do have a thermometer so do you think i should tomorrow????
