Hi all, Hope you are all doing OK.
Bella, well done on applying for the new job. It is hard isn't it because everything seems to go on hold whilst TTC.
I've put your tests in the post so will be with you in plenty of time. I felt quietly optimistic this month and felt cramping from quite early on so you never know!!
Sorry about the BFN Handbag, but nothing is certain til AF shows up so there is still chance.
MMum, I've spent hours looking at my chart on F Friend. Don't know why as it only changes once a day but it draws me like a magnet. It's almost like if I look at it for long enough it will tell me something!!
So Rom, have you bought the cheap tests ready for the next round of testing? They are great and mine always arrive really quickly.
Debbsy, sorry about DH. Think it is a standard routine to row with them at O time. Sounds like you have done OK though. Some sites only recommend every 48 hrs as it gives time for "stock" to build up again.
Wendy, any news on your ey yet? Hope it is good news for you.
Frizbe..................can't believe you haven't done the test yet!!! You must have a will of iron!! Good Luck and babydust to all

Hi Debbsy,
Sorry to hear that you are having a crap time with Hubby (note that lack of 'dear') it was my turn beginning of the week to be with my DP (note back to using Dear again,LOL). Men just dont have a clue, not that me and DP are charting at mo, we are waiting for AF to arrive so then we can start. But certain things men, really are oblivious to our feelings! I'm sure you wil have a great weekend tho

Bella23 · 22/04/2005 14:21

Bella23 · 22/04/2005 15:42

WOW - congrats Minni..........WELL DONE!!

Rom - where are you this afternoon ?

Lottielou · 22/04/2005 15:59

Diddle???

Debbsy · 22/04/2005 16:21

congratulations minnie and thank you for giving us all hopexx

george32 · 22/04/2005 17:06

Congrats from me again Minnie (I know I shouldn't be but I'm still over here on the TTC thread too!!)

MMum, isn't it great. You can just while away the hours gazing at your temps. Fascinating little tips to read and the chart gallery is fantastic, comparing your temps with other charts to see if that gives anything away. (Do you think I have become a little obsessed with it???)

Bella, the envelope is crammed full with tests & babydust and brings so much luck with it. Can't believe you have another 2½ hours of dentists to go - argh!! Have you warned them that you might be p/g?

Oh, Roms away with work I think. I hope that that is work on more baby orders!!!

wendy11 · 22/04/2005 17:40

Hello All

Feeling a little more like a normal human being today ....well a normal ttc human being.

Its wonderful how two lines of a similar colour on an OPK can lift a bodies spirits - how sad . Looks like I am just ov'ing much later this cycle than normal, just have to wait for the temeprature rise to confirm ov. George - how are you feeling? - know exactly what you mean about comparing charts on FF. I could and frequently do spend hours peering at my own chart and all the gallery charts - its almost as if you are willing the machine to tell you what you want to hear.

DQ good to see you are still dropping in on us. How are you feeling?

Bella - enjoy your weekend in Bath. Lovely place. Cousin lives close to Yeovil and her DH works in Bath, so have visited there a few times. Any more symptoms to report??? I have high hopes for you this month....just got a good feeling. Hope it is right.

Debbsy - sorry about DH. Believe me they can be so stupid sometimes, but we love them anyway...don't we?

Hope everyone else is OK and ready for the weekend.

HellKat · 22/04/2005 17:49

Hi all.
bella,Romily,george, lottie_thanks for the encouragement!
Yep this mc was natural (waiting for the d&c on Tuesday unless it happens naturally beforehand). As soon as we've had 2 af's I'm ttc again! I suffer from endometriosis and it's meant to hinder fertility but for some reason my dp's tadpoles and my eggs mix (bloody quickly too). Last 2 pg's were conceived after less than 2 mths of ttc.
Have a great weekend all and here's tonnes of babydust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Debbsy · 22/04/2005 18:46

oh dear just been looking on the fertility friend feel alien to it dont know where to start can anyone help?

Cadmum · 22/04/2005 18:58

Is it the website that is confusing you or the concepts? Can't help with the site... but if it is the concepts I would highly recommend Toni Weschler's book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. HTH

milosmum · 22/04/2005 20:10

debbsey- got through the slide show 1st- it will then go through all the logg in details and then you can get temping- the slide show helps, trust me...... i just took my temp and clicked "add data", answered the questions and away i went. after a few days it all because clear, promise

wendy11 · 22/04/2005 20:14

Firstly I forgot to say congratualtions to Minnie. Have a happy and healthy 8/9 months.

George - sorry should have offered you official congratualtions as well!!

Debbsy - have you registered with fertility friend? Once you have done that you can then start to record all your temps, etc in the my chart at the top of the page and then enter data. Have to say that when I started to use it I played around for a while just to find out what to do with it. I also had 2 months worth of temps to put in so by the time I had those done I was pretty good at using it. Once you have got onto the hang of it you can add bits and pieces of your own to record. I use the tabbed data entry form. This is probably not very well explained but if I can help you any more give us a shout. Romilly and George also use it so maybe they could be of help as well.

Had my first acupuncture and traditional chinese massage session today. He spent about 1/2 an hour asking about my infertilty history, my pregnancy and our upcoming IVF. He then started my massaging my lower back for about 10-15 mins and then inserted the neddles...one in the top of each foot, one on the front of each leg, one in each elbow, three along my forehead at the hairline and one on the top of my head. I can honestly say I didn't feel them going in except the one on the top of my right foot for some reason. Was left for about 20 mins and then had a stomach massage. The heat generated was amazing. Even after I got home I could still feel the heat in my tummy. Just got a feeling when I was lying there that this is going to do us some good when we go for our IVF. He also had lots of success stories to tell me about people who have achieved pregnancy either through massage and acupuncture or with the aid of IVF massage and acupuncture, so heres hoping that we can become another one of his successes. He also said that he will ony do massage up until pregnancy is achieved as it is not recommended in the first 3 months of pregnancy.

Thoroughly recommend it but at £35 per session it is not cheap, but I suppose many of us would pay anything if we thought it would help us conceive. DH would gladly pay it just to have a less stressed wife. Dear love him but I have not made his life easy over the last few days when I didnt ovulate when I thought I should. Think it will have to be him get the extra, extra large bar of fruit and nut this weekend.LOL

Bella23 · 22/04/2005 22:30

Wendy - glad to hear that the acupuncture went well, sounds amazing! I like the thought that you were laying there feeling that it was doing some good as well as I so believe in the power of positive. Yes £35 is a bit steep but as you say at this stage in the game we are all pretty up for doing anything!
Well am away from the computer until monday PM so I hope you all have a lovelt w/kend and that all DHs are on best behaviour
Love to you all xxx

dramaqueen72 · 23/04/2005 01:11

wendy meant to say, there is a great article on acupuncture in junior pregnancy and baby magazine, mentions IVF too. its a fab thing isnt it? i had it once for something un ttc related.
I'm doing okay, thankyou for asking. Abit overemotional, but guess thats to be expected
have a fab weekend bella! v envious!!

munz · 23/04/2005 08:18

morning all,

sorry didn't post yesterday, I'm feeling soo rotton at the minute, weds felt really sick every time I crunched up into a ball, thursday was not too bad, (apart from the bloody dr!) according to DH I had tears in my eyes after the internat - bitxh that she was! lol. yesterday I felt sick all day again, (I'd drunk one (yes one) glass of lambrini the night b4 on thursday) it went straight to my head and I ended up chucking everyone out cos I was knackered to cap it off. most unlike me I normally have at least 2! still we did manage to BD and there was no spillage! that has to be good surely? I told DH we haven't done it this month and his reply was how do u know? have you had ur period yet? bless him he's being really sweet about it all.

rom - ooh I can charm! lol just hoping it's worked, trying not to think too much about it and keep telling myself we haven't done it so I won't be dissapointed when AF comes.

bella- looks like we're the same hon, i'm not 2dpo, manily i'm not thinking about testing on thursady (I have ultra early ones and that will be 9DPO so hopefully something should show if not i'll have to take everything up to the PIL's house)

anyhow hope everyone else ios ok.

ooh and minnie big congrats hon. thanks for the dust!

Worriedbev · 23/04/2005 09:29

Hi everyone
Munz - I know what you mean, I told DH we had missed it this month and he said virtually the same thing, you dont know until your period arrives. Someone on another threat who is doing everything, ttc and opks said she missed the vital day of ovulation for bedding and still got pg this month, so there is hope for us yet.

What are the SANDS bracelets?
Bev

Debbsy · 23/04/2005 10:38

morning all thanks for info Wendy will try it after next cycle (If it comes)Bella hope you have a lovely time.Munz sorry your feeling so rotten hope you feel better soon.DH (note back to dear) has redeemed himself now he just knows the right things to say this morning after bd he kept saying swim swim spermies swim and gave me a big kiss gush gush which i thought was really nice love to you all.xx

milosmum · 23/04/2005 19:08
