Meant to say that I have booked an acupuncture treatment session for Friday. Rang round a few clinics and asked lots of questions about their experience of working with fertility issues and IVF treatment and then picked the one that I thought covered my needs the most. Hope they were telling the truth. My acupuncture and IVF book has arrived so I will be reading that tonigh. I will give you a brief overview when I have finished.

Bella - any more reflexology sessions booked?

romilly · 19/04/2005 18:48

OP posts:
george32 · 19/04/2005 19:12

Ohhh Rom, not had wine in ages & hadn't thought about it till you said. Have a really big glass of Pinot Grigio for me will you. Sorry you've been blue today. xx

Wendy, hope tomorrow brings you a . First month using them seems to have worked for me and I think that happened to Mishi too. I think it is the just puts you at ease that you are BDing at the right time.

Thanks DQ, those tests are fantastic!! Bella, hoping you get the same luck . Going to make my way to the other thread next week I think. Don't really want to leave here until it sinks in properly.

Where have the other testers got to??

Bella23 · 19/04/2005 19:15

DQ - great to hear from you xx
Wendy - Oh I'm realy glad that you have booked an acupuncture session, will be really interested as to how it goes and how it makes you feel afterwards. I think at the end of the day choosing who to go with you just have to go with your gut instinct. Love the analagy of the cow and Macd's!! I can relate to the nightmare wife of brother scenario. My brother's ex (and mother of my niece and nephew) is an absolute fruitcase, she won't talk to me anymore, will onlu correspond via letter......and my horrendous crime? Not phoning her when my brother and her split up even though I had explained I was finding it very difficult when she was openly screaming at my parents, calling them all sorts and punching my brother etc...really long story! I tried to bite the bullet and apologise just to make peace but she wouldn't have it so now its just letters.....and formal ones at that!!
Anyway - enough rambling from me.
Rom - no getting off the hook that easily young lady, come on we want some personal info, other than the fact that you collect your wee in a deaodorant lid before testing!!
Hereshopping - soooo sorry for the BFN, sod the gym and have some wine and chocolate...that's an order from head office! Right a January baby for you then, just got to hang in there for the next 2 weeks and then back on the wheel.....we'll crack it.
Right after mamoth dentist session today have ordered DH to bring back M&S cheesecake....well need some sort of comfort! Shame of it all is that I have to go back in 10 days for another mamoth 2 and half hour session.....I'll shut up now as my teeth are the bain of my life.....my total weak spot, end up spending hundreds each year and every time i go for a check up its as if I've been living on a diet of sweets and cleaning my teeth with a twig....always end up having to have a root canal or something equally as grim!!!
Rom and hereshopping - Extra Hugs to you two. Remember your order is being processed its just the delivery schedule wasn't for this month

george32 · 19/04/2005 19:16

(Does anyone else get distracted mid message & end up posting much later than you originally would??)

Hereshoping I'm so sorry.

POACIT (Pissing on a cheap internet test) is the way forwards unless we are all going to be broke soon.

Rom / Heres, stuff the gym, make the most of the fact that you can drink wine & get a bottle now.

Bella23 · 19/04/2005 19:18

Sorry hugs extended to Teuch as well

george32 · 19/04/2005 19:19

Sorry about your dentist trips Bella, (sorry was distracted this morning so forgot to mention). One of the most terrifying experiences for me is to sit there whilst he drills. And the mere mention of the word root canal - aaarrrghhh!! You poor thing.

twinklemummy · 19/04/2005 19:21

HI there

was wondering if anyone else who has stopped having the depo injection or the contraceptive implant removed ,has found difficulties in ttc after it for a long time.

have discovered on another site that it can take as much as 18mths before conceiveing again after using the depo injection and some have had this prob and werent warned when taking the depo u dont always conecieve within a year after u have stopped taking it.

i had the contraceptive implant in for 2yrs bene removed for a year have been tcc since with no sucess and believe it,s all down to this, others that have been on the pill dont seem to realise why we cant catch as easily.

no one i know what told of this prob when agreeing to use these forms of contraception.

was wondering if anyone else had experienced similar probs

will be seeing my GP soon for advice

have 1 dd but on was the pill at the time so dont know how long it take me to concieve

loads of baby dust to ev1

tc twm

Bella23 · 19/04/2005 19:22

Thanks George - don't worry will be milking the sympathy card from DH tonight!!
I hope you and DH are walking around with silly grins plastered to your faces

hereshoping · 19/04/2005 19:23

thanks everyone
have told dh how upset I sm instead of pretending im ok and sent him out for big bottle of wine so feel a bit better
ust feel every month im a bit older and its less likely to happen
sorry all other bfners but at least we can have hope from the graduates
hi cadmum my sil is expecting same week i was with last m/c cant bear to see her

Bella23 · 19/04/2005 19:24

Sorry Twinklemum, don't think anyone on here has had the depo injection......sorry to hear that its taking a while for you...xx

romilly · 19/04/2005 19:30

yes george - i always get distracted and then it looks like you have totally ignored the last poster hate that!

bella - sorry about teeth - cheesecake sounds good tho!

heres - glad you went for the wine option - i am still at bloody work! and i think mr.rom has gone to play squash which means i will feel doubly guilty about sitting on my own not doing workout with only big glass of wine for solace. god listen to me, sound like bridgetbloodyjones!

OP posts:
hereshoping · 19/04/2005 19:44

I am definitely turning into sad bridgetjones character on the ttc front! - but ust think of the fluffy purple babygrow we can dress babs in when we finally get to last scene of film - am really going mad now
right im going to crack - give me the lowdown on opks and who got pg this month coz of them?

Nemo1977 · 19/04/2005 20:31

dramaqueen72 · 19/04/2005 20:45

ladies have missed been up todate with everything.heres and rom please dont be down, I'm willing you onwards and to a baby filled new year. dont give up hope, just scroll back to me who was convinced i had bded at the wrong time this cycle and was about to slit her wrists.and here i am. sorry if that sounds trite, i dont mean it to.
George glad bella can get some of the somehow lucky babydust from set of tests..... and nemo has two lucky ones to if anyones tempted1 this could be the way forward, sharing tests, and helping with the costs! i ahve to say i had decided not to use the OPKs again as they were so costly, but they DID work so now i dont know...... also they showed i o'ed early than i was 'meant' to, so who knows? maybe they are more sensitive? {shrug} i cant wait to catch up, anyone want to give me a quick run down of last three days/ you all talk to much!

Bella23 · 19/04/2005 21:03
