its mostly a lot of talk about peeing on sticks, LOL - sure you know the score

we've had two graduates recently - nemo and dramaqueen -

OP posts:
Hulababy · 17/04/2005 21:12

Sounds all familiar stuff then.

Oh and congrats to the two graduates

romilly · 17/04/2005 21:30

hula - CD17 your OV time - guess that means you are POASing then - we call it peeing on a tenner on this thread (cause we all love the ridiculously pricey smiley OPKs)

you will be bd'ing same time and 2ww with bella and wendy i think

OP posts:
Bella23 · 17/04/2005 22:21

Welcome Hulababy - I see that Rom has registered your order already
Cadmum - so sorry to hear about you SIL upsetting you, people just have no idea sometimes what happens outside their little worlds and how it can upset other people.....{{{{HUGS}}}} Just keep strong ........xx

Wendy - book sounds interesting, you'll have to give us a synopsis whem you've finished. My next curiosity seems to be crystals now after Cadmum (I think ?) mentioned hers........if no luck this month will probably not be able to resist the urge to purchase!
Munz - Val in leather trousers....oooh yes please.....
Rigth off for an early night as knackered after watching everyone run today.......xx

ooooooooooh.......testing week for a few......exciting!

Hulababy · 17/04/2005 22:26

LOL @ peeing on a tenner!!! Actually I am a cheat on that front. My OPKs came from a couple of very lovely TTC graduates from MN who passed them on to me - the ones you can get from the website, much cheaper (like the pg tests).

munz · 18/04/2005 08:50

ooh big day today! he's not rung yet am slightly worried but not overly. hula glad u cam over and found us!

rom have u tested yet? any more symptoms?

CD12 here and still a red no O as of yet but am expectin it tomorrow.

george32 · 18/04/2005 08:52

Morning everyone.
Welcome to the thread Hulababy. We will have you POAT with the smiley OPKs in no time.

Spent a lovely weekend visiting my mum and then my BF who is now 5 months p/g. I felt brave enough to look at her scan pictures (20wk ones, still can't look at 12 wk ones) and they were wonderful. I think it is the first time I've not felt really teary and upset coming away and just delighted and excited for them.

8DPO for me and really scared about testing as I so want it to happen this month. Going to wait for as long as I can this week. Rom, when are you testing - has to be soon surely?? How about today?? How exciting

Bella your friends are so brave taking on the marathon. Were they still able to walk at the end??
Wendy, what a great book with some great stats. Get yourself off to the acupuncturist as soon as you can.
Ooooh Munz, will be a quiet week on here from you. Are you waiting by the door ready??? Don't forget its 6 times!!!
Hope everyone else is OK. Will read through properly once I have a cup of tea in hand (decaffineated obviously )

munz · 18/04/2005 08:55

nope not at the door, in work but have told him to ring the minute he gets in the house! i'll be home for my 6 times!

Bella23 · 18/04/2005 09:04

Morning all ....
Well this week is exciting as Munz you get your fella back and Rom will be testing, anyone else? Have really bad memory.
George - one friend who ran yesterday looked like he was in the "zone of hell" when we saw him at mile 18, shouldn't laugh as he is very brave etc to do it but if you'd seen him....was like a purple blow fish. I shall find out today how he felt at the end etc. My other friend looked very spritely at mile 18, so would imagine that she was ok at the finish, will let you know when I speak to her how she feels today.

Well nothing happening here apart poas all week and waiting for magical O symbol on persona and a face on my OPK.

Come on ladies....we need another graduate this week.....

Bella23 · 18/04/2005 09:11

George - meant to say that its good to hear that you managed to be ok with your B/F. My BF is also nearly 5 months and even though I get a bit of a funny feeling inside I can manage to talk happily about her pregnancy. Maybe it means we are healing emotionally....I guess time really does help.

Frizbe · 18/04/2005 09:27

Hi all can I join too? been on the other thread with Munz n Hula, but like Hula says, its a bit quiet!

Stats are

30 yrs old (or young!)
ttc no. 2
cycle 1
cd 27 (! OMG but that's only if my cycle is right, so will leave it a bit to test if af doesn't turn up!)
using luck at the moment! although am reg'd with fertility friend, just haven't done it properly at the mo....

Good luck to all x

george32 · 18/04/2005 09:28

LOl at your "purple blow fish" friend Bella. I hope he was OK at the end!!
I think you are right about emotionally healing, and that has made me feel really comforted. Kind of like knowing that everything will be OK now.

george32 · 18/04/2005 09:31

Whoops, didn't see you there - welcome to the thread Frizbe.
Go on, it's the news of Roms sucessful orders thats drawing everyone across isn't it??

Bella23 · 18/04/2005 09:39

George - have just spoken to "blow fish" friend and he finished in just under 4 hours which is a great time. He says he feels awful though, has had really bad diahorrea and feels like he has flu......just goes to show how tough it is on the body! he says that he's glad he did it but that he is never going to do it again!

Bella23 · 18/04/2005 09:46

Welcome Frzby .....using Luck? Well on this thread we use everything........just verging on the edge of sanity
I hope this thread brings you good luck, Rom's the lady in charge of orders although me thinks she is rushing through her own at the moment....Rom are you are head office having a word?

Debbsy · 18/04/2005 09:47

Diddle · 18/04/2005 09:54

Welcome Debsy, Hula & Frizbe

no POATing for me, still waiting for AF after m/c getting very impatient, have a hospital appointment this afternoon to make sure everything has gone from the m/c and check i''m ok.
Thought i would put an advance order in for a February baby, that goes to full term, no more m/c's. don't think i will be in time for a Jan baby. Pease Rom sprinkle me with loads of babydust.

dyzzidi · 18/04/2005 09:55

Morning all and hello to Frizbe & hulababy.

Did't even see the marathon we were out at the park with my nephew most of the day!

Had a really terrible weekend but am looking more positive for this week. Just got DP work dates and in three weeks he is going to taiwan for 6 weeks, then home for a week then back to taiwan until our wedding. So i better get a move on the next few weekends. It will be a bit awkward as we have his brother coming this weekend and We are both away seperately the weekend after. We will have to BD very quickly to fit in around people arriving .

Cadmum i feel for you with your SIL. I'm going to spend the bank holiday with my BF in Lincoln and her DP is going away with my DP. She is nearly 8 mths PG and I feel ok about it. Its their first child and they are really looking forward to it so i think that helps me. If she did'nt want it I don't think I would be able to look her in the face. She has not had an easy pregnancy and we are going to sort out ther bag for the hospital when I go over. (I am the more organised and have spent lots of time on hops so I am helping her). We are also going out for a really nice meal to celebrate our last girlie weekend before the new girlie comes along.

I intend to keep upto date this week ladies so chat to you all soon.

dyzzidi · 18/04/2005 09:57

Sorry Hi Debsy!

Bella23 · 18/04/2005 10:08

Welcome Debsy.
Debs sorry you are having such a struggle on the TTC front. I have started refexology so will let you if it helps me. I am in London...where are you based? Just wondering if you would be able to see my practioner as she specialises in maternity and pre conception reflexology.
We can all so relate to the pressures it puts on your relationship this TTC and the need to bd at the right time. Hang in there and I hope this thread brings you the best of luck

Debbsy · 18/04/2005 10:17

Thanks for the welcome diddle sorry for your mc
and thanks Bella and dyazzi its so nice to be ABLE to speak to people that understand exactly how you feel good luck to all my new found friends.

Debbsy · 18/04/2005 10:18

Bella i live in Staffordshire and its my bosses wife who is going to give me reflexolgy but shes only learning so im very dubious to say the least.

Bella23 · 18/04/2005 10:21

Debsy - even if she is a beginner at least you have nothing to lose! At this stage of the game its worth trying anything
Right - best do some work before I am sacked for being on here all day......am very bad girl!

wendy11 · 18/04/2005 10:30

Morning Ladies,

Welcome to Hula, Frizbe and Debbsy. This is definitley the place to be for lots of encouragment and a little bit of madness. Hope your stay is a short one.

Debbsy - good to see you are a convert all ready. Will soon have everyone POAT

Munz - hope DH has got home safely.

Bella - LOL at purple blow fish. I take my hat off to anyone who can complete the marathon. I know I wouldn't be a blow fish I would be a dead fish if I tried to do it.

Rom - well how are things. Hope you have had a word with head office about your own order!

George - it is good that you are able to look at the scan photos. Definitley a sign that emotionally you are stronger and better able to deal with things.

Better do some work this morning. Not ususally in the office much during the day but boss is off for a week so just catching up on all the comings and goings of you lot.
