hullo!

just been watching from the sidelines the last few days....phew, exciting stuff! Is it too late to put in a rush order? I am 1st month 'trying' after a m/c at 11 weeks (unplanned and huge surprise, but got our heads round it and we though...why not?!).
Approx 9/10dpo but don't do any of the temps or anything (yet) - AF due Mon/Tue. Very windy and a bit crampy (I was really crampy last time) which I don't usually get until my AF arrives, then it comes with huge force!
Anyway, can I place a rush order prior to testing over the weekend?

You all just seem so supportive, it seemed a shame to remain a spectator!
Teuch

dyzzidi · 14/04/2005 15:32

Hi Teuch and welcome. I have been away from these threads for a few weeks but am pleased to be back.

I'm sure newcomers bring good luck

romilly · 14/04/2005 15:50

we dont talk about "luck" on this thread - we talk about orders!!!!!!

welcome to teuch - same dpo as me, what are your stats?

OP posts:
romilly · 14/04/2005 15:52

just seen your stats, except you dont mention your age - we're very nosey on here, we tell each other everything

milosmum · 14/04/2005 15:53

welcome teuch- join in .....i dont think its too late to put in an order but they deliver a little late sometimes.dyzz cant believe you were so close to me....i was in the "new houses" just off langworthy road right near langton street-bizarre. moved to swinton with dh when i was 16 (obviously was nt dh then...).
As for the whole talking to rl friends i think unless you are really sucked into the deparate for a baby lark then nobody will understand but someone else who is (did that make sense?). my sister in law falls pregnant at a change in the wind and has five!!!!she thinks theres something not right with me to have been trying for so long with no sucess (excluding the mc at xmas of course).....

Nemo1977 · 14/04/2005 15:53

lol rom about being nosey..dont think anyone knows as much about my inner workings of my ovaries as u lot..pmsl

Bella23 · 14/04/2005 15:55

Welcome Teuch - fingers crossed for you this month.
Yeh come on..........age?

milosmum · 14/04/2005 15:56

very true my dh hasnt got a clue about half my bodily functions and would be too embarassed even if i did tell him- referred to cm yesterday and he went pink!.

romilly · 14/04/2005 16:22

ah bless him, milosmum - that's one part of ttc i keep to myself. mr.rom is not "new man" enough to share EWCM chat with

i am conjuring up some early symptoms nemo and DQ, what do you reckon? they are as follows (in order of frequency...)

embarrassingly loud grumbly tummy at work this afternoon

abnormal lack of desire to dive straight into a couple of vodka & tonics at 6pm

ummmmmm, think that's it so far....pathetic, huh?

(unless spending ridiculous chunks of working hours on this thread could possibly be a pg. symptom? LOL)

OP posts:
Bella23 · 14/04/2005 16:35

Rom - definatly think being on here instead of working is a pregnancy sign!
Right ladies, am leaving now to get my reflexology done.....oops leaving early again....ah well! Lets hope this works soon as otherwise at £37 a pop its going to be bloody expensive if she starts trying to convince me that I need another 10 sessions or something..ARH!
Will bore you all with the details when I get home...

rosies · 14/04/2005 17:10

hi bella,

i do hope you had a good session. unfortunately, she may well suggest a few sessions. for general treatments we suggest 3-4 sessions so that real benefits can be felt. no quick fixes exist i am afraid.

but, remember, its all for the good and as a great boost in terms of immune system, circulation, relaxation... optimum health for pregnancy.

i noticed your earlier post about chatting to your friend and "purging the soul"... do use your therapist as an ear. its all confidential and as i think i said before, verbalising really does help to put things into perspective and acceptance.

i still think you might find a cheaper therapist, perhaps not attached to a clinic... or maybe the one you go to does private work at home? just a suggestion.

but enjoy!

wendy11 · 14/04/2005 17:31

DQ - my biggest CONGRATULATIONS to your and your DH. I am absolutley delighted for you - you deserve it. Now look after yourself and your precious cargo and tons of sticky baby dust to you.
I will miss you and your cheerfullness on this thread. Call back every now and again and let us know how you are getting on.

Nemo - tons of sticky baby dust to you too. This is definitley DQ and your turn for some happiness. 2005 is going to be a better year for both of you than 2004.

Welcome teuch - you will soon be an expert in all aspects of ttc and believe me in no time you will be a convert to OPK's, temping and all the rest. We are all a bit like sheep on here - once one discoveres something new that might help ttc we all follow along behind and try it too

Bella - enjoy your reflexology and let us know how it goes or what advice you are give. I am seriously thinking about trying it again or giving acupuncture a go. I think I will start the OPK testing about CD10 as well as have ov'd in the past anywhere from CD11 to CD14 although last 2 cycles have been CD14, but don't want to miss it by starting to test too late.

Dyzzidi - good to have you back

Rom - thanks for the priority order this month . What CD are you on or when are you ready to test. Looks like this thread is on a roll.

To everyone else....hope you have all had a good day and enjoy your evening whatever you are doing.

munz · 14/04/2005 17:37

DQ where r u on the south coast i'm from P'mouth! (is it still a dive down there?)

george32 · 14/04/2005 18:47

So chatty again today!!!! Can we keep this thread until it is really really long as it seems to be very lucky? (no is on dial-up are they or they will be struggling to load it all soon!)
I've been slogging away in the garden again and now I ache all over. Need to soak for 2 days in a bath I think
Welcome to the thread Teuch. So you are Roms testing buddy. Ooooh what day will you be testing??
Rom, PMSL at your p/g signs. Not sure I've seen either of those mentioned web anywhere I'm doing lots of spring cleaning, could that be a really early sign do you think?
Have knocked running on the head for my 2ww so just doing the other things at the gym. I'm a bit silly really as I'm being careful about not running & then lugging heavy containers of bark & compost around the garden!!
Hope you are enjoying your relexology Bella. If you get p/g now, how quickly will I be putting my fear of feet behind me & making an appointment. (Baa, Baa, Baa - Wendy, I'm so a sheep!!! )
Dyz, glad you are back again.
DQ, has it sunk in yet? Yes please to any of your lucky testing sticks esp if they come loaded with babydust . Shall I e-mail you my address? It is going to be weird without you & Mishi on here so please do keep popping back across . As we are unlikely to all make it onto the Dec thread, once the Jan orders start arriving, can we start a www.Romsbabyorders.com ante-natal thread for us to natter on no matter when we are due?
I'm sure I read that someone was near me on their cycle. I'm 4 DPO - anyone near??

Nemo1977 · 14/04/2005 19:02

aww george thats a great idea about the antenatal thread cos feel like we have all been through loads

dramaqueen72 · 14/04/2005 19:52

george, seeing how you sent me that stick of course you can have my spare sticks! email me your address. you know my computer has been FINE and now is playing up again, its so frustrating i could throw it at the wall!!!!!!!!!!
its sort of kinda maybe sunk in. i feel abit of a fraud because altho these tests say i'm pg, i dont KNOW i'm pg yet. af isnt even late! does that make sense? I feel so lucky and then i get concerned for being so lucky! I havent been so far this year! i'm so tired and yet my heads spinning so i cant sleep!
munz, ah mmmm, glamerous portsmouth! I'm in southampton but 'from' bournemouth. I like it down here.
Bella hope youre session is fabulous and you feel wonderful after!
wendy how nice of you to say all that! I'm not sure i've been very cheerful tho! rather ott and manic, with crap typing more like! and i'm lurking all the time, cant quite break the ties to you all just because some stick says so!
girl and cadmum where are you today? hows it going?
welcome tuech, I'm glad i made good reading !LOL hope your stay here is a short one.
rom, what can i say, your signs sound fabulous!
who said about cleaning up? yes I think both nemo and i have gone thro a mad sort out stuff moment this week so it could be.
look i stuffed up bding when you should, i sometimes drank red wine, i never charted and did persona, so if i can do it on such a feeble attempt, you guys will be RIGHT behind me with all your gadgets and clever stuff. I just know it.
nemo i have a problem with the dec thread -its so quiet! and slow, i'm used to our fast pace here. if my computers working tomorrow you'll have to come and chat! shall i mail you tomorrows test too?LOL
awaiting your email george

milosmum · 14/04/2005 19:54

george is dpo- days past ovulation??? if sp im near you on 2 days past ovulation, if it doesnt mean that forgive me im still a newbie to all the acronyms.......

Nemo1977 · 14/04/2005 19:58

cleaning is deffo a sign all i have done past 2 weeks is power wash this and scrub that.

Dq thread is up and down for dec yesterday was really busy but today silent. I know about the feeling a fraud..my af isnt due till tommorow...god knows what i will do if something happens even tho i know it could do iykwim...am so panicky at the minute....

Nemo1977 · 14/04/2005 19:58

MM it does mean that

george32 · 14/04/2005 20:06

Thanks DQ
I think the spring cleaning might just be boredom. 4 DPO might be a little too early for p/g signs!! (Hurrah, MMum we are testing at around the same time) Then again, FF did keep changing it's mind about when I did actually Ov. Nah, just getting carried away dreaming!!

Nemo1977 · 14/04/2005 20:07

dont know george i was convinced from 2dpo...lol just kept thinking what an idiot i would be if i wasnt

george32 · 14/04/2005 20:14

I keep prodding my boobs, just in case they hurt - going to hurt from all the prodding soon!
(Please someone else tell me they do this so I don't feel really !!)

Nemo1977 · 14/04/2005 20:25

still doing it...lol

hereshoping · 14/04/2005 20:28

Hello all

romilly · 14/04/2005 20:30
