hi ladies,
sorry i have been away for a few days.
just had a quick flick through this...
who asked if reflexology tickles? no it shouldnt. the pressure should be comfortable, not painful. sometimes there are sensitive spots, can be very tender, but imo, it should never hurt. always say if its uncomfortable. this helps us to determine areas of problem and also, we should adjust our pressure to suit your thesholds.
who pays £37 an hour??? omg! i'm sorry but this is excessive. i live in north surrey and even there i only charge £25. i even do deals for ongoing treatments. thing is, if you go to a clinic or spa, they have overheads... but even so, thats OTT.
never be worried about what you say to your therapist. they are there to help you. the more you say, the better it is for you also... have you ever found that verbalising stuff helps you realise it and come to terms with it? kinda of sorts things out in your own mind? apart from that, again, as a therapist, it helps us to recognise our clients needs and can often identify emotional imbalances.
not saying it applies here and i am in no way a councellor, but sometimes, even when we "think" its something we want, our bodies dont believe us and "put a block" on it... just a thought.
hmmm hope that covers a few things.
enjoy your treatments those having them!
