Rom - I really don't think that the six times is necessary at all. I think that Nemo is lucky that she caught this month but I think maybe the six times is a coincidence.
Me and DH will be doing the deed every 24 hours .....over 6 - 7 days.....the idea of anymore just makes me feel ill!!
Rom - if you bd'd before ov time then you might be ok as I do think its important that the swimmers are there waiting for the egg

Nemo1977 · 13/04/2005 12:40

tbh i think i got over excited by the opk and the fact dh was off work for 3 days in a row...

romilly · 13/04/2005 12:44

thks bella, for reassuring me! getting to that point in the 2WW where all rationale and logic flies out the window! of course it can't be true when you think how many long-term married couples get pg. and we all know they are not going at it like stud muffins in fact STATISTICS (!!) tell us that average bonk times after several years marriage go down drastically to something like once a week!

OP posts:
Nemo1977 · 13/04/2005 12:46

i would say we are usualy 1-2 times a week in a norm although can go a month without but then do deed loads in one week..lol Been married for 4 yrs...although it is harder now with ds loitering around..lol

hereshoping · 13/04/2005 13:01

Rom Im right with you in 2ww agony cd20 for me - ill prob have a good idea by mon whether af going to appear - get cramps for few days b4
dq where are you - ive checked 3rd time today already! are you out splashing the cash on a clearblue?
some mad urge made me check due in aug thread today WHY DO WE DO THIS TO OURSELVES?

Bella23 · 13/04/2005 13:04

Arh Hereshopping - sometimes we just can't help ourselves and have to pick that sore! I now see the August thread and just kind of look away really quickly...

george32 · 13/04/2005 13:38

Still no news????
DQ come back...............
So Rom, it's the 2ww for you too? Don't panic about the 48hr Ov time, healthy little swimmers can live for 5 days!
It's not long til you can test surely? Now, have you stocked up on the ultra sensitive tests? If not, get on e-bay now!! You too Hereshoping, whenever you feel yourself being drawn to the August thread steer away & head for E-bay instead.
Mishi, if you think its hard with your DS loitering, you should try it with an 8 and a 13 year old around, especially when both are desperate to see their Dad as they only see him on weekends. I think the record is about 8 interruptions!!

milosmum · 13/04/2005 13:55

my god george, did you even finish with 8 interuptions- at that piont i think id lock my room and demand privacy ..not sure whats going on with me- the opk test said bfp yesturday and my cm looks v v promising but that was the same 1 1/2wks ago- maybe im just a freak that ovs twice a month- lord knows.......

so how many are possibly prg now??? everyone is falling this week-hope the baby dust rubs off on me

george32 · 13/04/2005 14:16

It is quite hard to keep focussed. Took quite a while . I think they do it as a kind of tag relay!!

You could be in for a good chance this month MMum if you keep ovualting!

piffle · 13/04/2005 14:20

in order to feed the new POAS addiction I have today bought an ovulation kit, no idea how what when why to use but hey......
Come on Dq we all know you've got a line

dramaqueen72 · 13/04/2005 14:22

ladies! I'm back, sorry DH's day off and we always go out and get coffee and potter about. not that I'm much use at anything today, my head is racing! actually I'm abit cranky. think its all the hanging about with this not 100% stuff!
I'm sorry its sucha saga, living up to my name of dramaqueen eh?
Rom i think my orders been dispatched what do you think? i neeeeeeeeeed a strong line tho, scared of low HCG causing another m/c you see.
my cm has started to turn slightly yellow, think it did that last PG...so several signs making think I prob am. tomorrow -my orginal test day!- i will decide a BFP or a BFN. no more pussy footing about. george no test arrived today so hope its here tomorrow and i can compare brands results!
sent you picture btw.
sigh, computer fixed (to a point) but now dh insisting i go out agian with him. more later ladies
hugs to everyone

george32 · 13/04/2005 14:35

DQ, that is so a BFP!!

Bella23 · 13/04/2005 14:43

Agree - the lady hath done it!! It is sooooo a BFP. Tomorrow will be an even darker line.
Well looks like head office has finally started production so lets hope we all get our orders very soon!
No worries on the saga front, I am on CD6 so it helps to get excited for someone else whilst I am waiting to start bding

Cadmum · 13/04/2005 14:48

DQ thanks for the email! It is 100% BFP! Congratulations! Can't wait to follow your progress.

romilly · 13/04/2005 16:15

a drink bella? better make that a double grapefruit juice!!

yeah, sorry everyone about the scary pacman, was meant to be a sort of sprinkling of happy vibes as opposed to manic looking computer game

OP posts:
dramaqueen72 · 13/04/2005 16:18

You ladies really think? nto 90% but 100%? woah thats quite a thought. i'm kinda playing a game with my head, i think oh lovely pg, and then when that gets a scary thought I reassure myself its prob a false alarm. tomorrow I will test again and hopefully there will be no room for any doubt. and if georges test arrives I'll use that too!
cadmum, phew! you got it then? i was starting to think your computer didnt like me....
Rom, if this order is for real THANKYOU SO MUCH. i'm calling you mother nature from now on.
nemo, dec thread far too scary for awhile. all assuming tomorrows a goood fat undeniable line.
so whos up for testing next then?

romilly · 13/04/2005 16:19

DQ big congrats hon!

romilly · 13/04/2005 16:45

munzie - you have to be super-nice to rom and wish her oodles of babydust next week - and it helps if you shag six times in two days apparently
