Rom, i wouldnt go back to work unless i absolutely ahd too, I know how very lucky i am, its just the wages for sahm stinks!LOL told dh i'm due for a pay rise.....LOL
sparkly, I hope this long gap means youre already pg again. do keep us up to date.
lillibet, thanks, we're trying to gather as much luck as poss, and ALL get BFP this cycle
the alica saga was awful rom, a 'troll' poster spent ages and ages on a due in april board, saying she was due in april etc. pictures of her ever gorwing tummy were posted along with my best friends whos due then (now!), which is why i'd read it!
she had a list of m/c under her name and had even had a still birth late too. so everyone was kinda wishing her wll this time.
she rang someone who posted she had given birth. and then posted herself just hours later saying her baby had died. she posted a picture and borth announcement card kinda thing.. it truely was sad and everyone was upset.
but then it turns out the picture of her deceased baby wasnt her baby,(or deceased) she had never been pg and had never given birth at all....uh, if you read the due in april boards on conception store it might still be there, but they were after moving it after the legal team had seen it. apparently this girl goes around the boards and does this kind of lying often., cant even THINK how her head works...

DQ, that is so so horrible, why would anyone do that? Gives me the creeps.

ive been v quiet as v busy - got the taking control of your fertility book on tues and been obsessed with cm since then - possibly going mad but persona in resrve for next month
also on cd15 so bding for britain -looking forward to a night in bed without my arse on two pillows! now on a course all w/e and in dilemma whether to drive an hour each way for extra bd on sat night or stay over - but cant get p**d anyway
so rom, yellowbear - looks like we are testing together - fingers crossed!

My details:
rom - I don't know what this means but I'm 33 yrs old
ttc no. 2
cycle 1 (after v early m/c last cycle)
CD25
uses - since birth of ds I get handy ov pains each month also watch cm which changes before ov pains

Not 100% sure if I mc or not last cycle as I never got a bfp but I had all the symptoms so I was pretty convinced and I was 4 days late which I never am, also I ov 1 week earlier than usual this cycle. Got queasy this cycle too but no other symptoms, was convinced I was pg but got a bfn yesterday and today so reckon it's just AF on her way.

Worried cos I conceived ds on clomid so have never conceived naturally. I had v v irregular AF after coming off the pill. But went back to normal over a year ago and I am getting the ov pains so we'll see...

kiera - a BIG welcome to what is usually a chatty thread - sorry you arrived at a quiet time (fri nites!) but its great to have you with us . wouldnt worry that you only conceived on clomid, i have a friend who was the same as you and was worried that she would need clomid each time, only to get pg twice in her forties.

hereshoping - fab, so you are nailbiting with ybear and me! i was out last night and managed to stay off the booze, just in case, but i think this 2ww is going to be looooooong.

dqueen - ohmigod - what a horrible story. what do people get out of doing something like that? she is sick and needs help IMO.

hi keira- i too have only started getting ov pains since i had my first but as you said the best thing is to monitor numerous things- Never thought id want another after my first. wasnt sure i wanted any but got extremely broody- hence number 1.i went 2 1/2 yrs not wanting another but got v v broody again and have been trying for 1.5 yrs- i also had an early mc at xmas...... we all need the luck on this thread and thanks to you all for the support

next month then! Although still no sign of AF yet...

hope ur all ok just popping on quick...still not tested am holding out for as long as possible..although the urge is there every 10 mins and no ept has turned up...sigh....am 12 dpo so on cd 31 of 36 so due af in 5 days but being 12dpo think it is acceptable to test on mon when hopefully the tests will turn up..lol

We have just put a bet on the national and am about to go and help ds ice his cakes...first time he has made them and has only 18mths..bless although he kept trying to eat the mix..lol

afternoon all, well looks like AF may well have stopped thou not sure, had absolutly nothing this morning but poped a tapon in incase. if it has stopped I only bled for 2.5 days heavy (normally 5) i'm sure thou i've read u can't OV if u only bleed for 3 days, any thoughts? either way I don't know what's happening, althou I know i'm not PG as DH's aim isn't that good! lol.

hi there romilly! you will be horrified but I don't know exactly what CD means, it's not on the acronym list probably too obvious Is it days since the last period?
I can't ttc yet because my cycle has been all over the place since Jan - I have no idea where I am. Thought I was back on track last w/end but then AF again, so I'm waiting for one clear normal month before I really think about trying! That's why I just pop in here and don't really understand all the abbreviations - lots aren't on the main list, just want to keep in touch with my friends from the sorrowful thread!
Basically I'm in denial about everything until my cycle gets back to normal - if it ever does!!!

thanks for the concern romilly- i did start again after that post but it lasted about 2, maybe 3 hrs so lord knows whats going on. a pg test would show positive (if i was) on the 20th onwards but am due to start ov testing on the 16th- just have to c what occurs!

hey Girl CD is cycle day, and anything else at all you dont know, just ask, we all had to learn them once right?
I hope youre cycles settle down soon, drive you crazy dont they when all over the place.
I'm currently CD 21....how very exciting! i think we totally stuffed up 'right' bding time but we shall see. I'm hopeful tho as we did it just before O and i'm having a great time 'feeling' lots of symptoms. at least at this bit i can be optimistic, give me a week and i shall be as gloooooooomy as ever if we've missed it again.
hey Rom you won the bet then! i didnt, but at least mine was still runing right to the end. my sil ALWAYS wins her bet on the grand national, this used to really bug me, until i found out she bets on about 15 horses!!!!!! so no wonder!
piffle dont give up yet, its ALWAYS the time i give up and think no it cant be, that i turn out to be pg, and some people find it take ages (ie; beyond af due date) to see a BFP.
munz, i'm sure that 3 days thing cant be right, as my af was only that ong pre children and i caught first cycle with ds.....so dont worry!
hereshoping, hope course is going well, and you got in all bding poss? i was reading the biggest main cause of couples not getting pg is as simple as not bding enough. i think i'm living proof of that one this month!

CM - cervical mucas (!!)
EWCM - egg white cervical mucas (the most fertile!)
CP - cervix position (!!!)
DPO - days post ovulation
BFP/BFN - big fat positive/big fat negative (in relation to tests)
HPT - home pg test
SAHM - stay at home mum
I emailed mumsnet to see if they would add some of these to the big list.

DQ no BD this month just gone, and this coming cycle, DH is home but well it's looking highly unlikely we'll catch agian, cos he's home on tuesday, and has to go to work (after 30 hours of travelling and no sleep knowing him) so tues night in my house is going to be ooohh just about a barrell of laughs! lol. weds he's due to go to work again, and also out for a drink in the next town across with is 60 miles away so I suspect he'll be in from work at 6pm as normal and out with the lads at 6.30/7.00 so no BD again! and it's bloody typical that tues/weds r my OV days for sure! it's just not bloody fair I tell u it's not, I have sent an email over thou saying well can he change the lads night to the thurs as I won't mind if he stops over at the town on thursday cos I will be 1dpo so there's no chance then, will have to wait and see what he says - ho hummm bloody army!

Well i tested this morning and couldnt hold out but got a bfn... not too disheartened as af isnt actuslly due for a few days and also it wasnbt an early pg test and could only be 11-13 dpo depending on when i actually oved.....anyway xmas baby wouldnt be practical..blah blah blah..just trying to make myself feel a bit better as with the test all my symptoms disappeared....maybe it was all psychological hey

oo false hope again but just re read instructions and it says to read test after 5mins not 3 and also that it picks up 25units of hcg...mmmmm...im getting tooo obsessed by all this maybe its itme ot give up
