Fruity I want a cuddle!!!! Right now!!! Jack looks adorable hope you're ok too, can't wait for a full update.
Sparkly As I said earlier I am remaining positive for your missus, I can't wait to see a scan picture complete with HB on Friday Can't tell you not to worry coz it won't work, keep your chin up x
EI Everything crossed for your test in the morning, I have high hopes for you
TeeHee Come on then, no pressure, but you are next!
CriCri Glad you are feeling a little better
Mibbes How you doing?
Scully I bet you are so pleased things are cooling down for you, hope the hayfever has eased a little
Georgie Fantastic news about DH's job, glad things are turning around for you

Molliemooma · 18/03/2009 21:20

Mibbes Just checked out the new photo's of Evan, he has grown up so much, but still very cute

mibbes · 18/03/2009 22:43

woohooo great news about baby Jack - congrats Fruity. He is an absolute corker, what a perfect wee cutie pie . Glad to hear the BF is going well and hope you get some sleep in hospital xx

Sparkly, everything crossed for Fri hun xx

Ei test again tomorrow - is AF late now or is it due tomorrow ?..

HappyandEiknowit · 19/03/2009 07:09

looks like im out!! again... im sick of this now!! my temp has dropped right down below the coverline today so its only a matter of time before AF makes an appearance cycle 19 for me then funny thing is with my new job i cant even go for the HSG or the day 2/3 blood test etc!! im in training and they told me at interview that unless you have an emergency theres no chance of getting time off due to the nature of the training. so yet another month of waiting for nothing as im pretty sure its never gonna happen now
xx ei xx

teeheelaydee · 19/03/2009 09:08

Aaah Ei it was all looking so promising - so sorry mind you it's not over til the evil witch arrives. Such a shame about the bloods too - not something you want to publicise to your new employer - try not to lose heart though, the month will go especially if you are busy at work.

Sparkly I too am remaining positive, think it's time for Mollie and I to do our BFP dance - I think it works for this too - Jazz hands at the ready Mollie

In all the Baby Jack excitement I don't think I said how marvellous your DH's new job news is Georgie-put your feet up now love and I advise making him a long list!!

Saw midwife yesterday and baby has turned and is no longer posterior - hurrah!! My time on my fitness ball was obviously worth so am going to keep it up. Everything else fine too - blood pressure and Sticky's hb - measure 1cm big but that's no big deal. Midwife ended by saying "see you in 2 weeks - if you haven't had your baby by then" (gulp)

piper84 · 19/03/2009 12:11

ei so sorry about your temp drop this morning It was looking really promising for you this month Can you have your hsg next month?

Sparkly one more sleep! have fingers and toes and everthing crossed for you for tomorrow that everything goes really well

Teehee this time two weeks the 2ww all over again

gonna head into the doctor today and see about organising a scan earlier than 12 weeks and hopefully see about getting a sick cert for a few days, feeling like crap for the last few days, cant keep anything down at all now, begining to wonder if maybe it might be twins causing this excessive sickness

BellaHarry · 19/03/2009 14:43

EI Sorry hun xx

Piper Would you like twins? Saw some wicked video clips on youtube of twins moving in this womans belly really weird!

ooh Teehee it's all so exciting! well done you with your ball and stuff! lol

Sparkly very best of luck hun xxx

Georgie congrats to DH!! nice one! wish mine would sort himself out he's so depressed with work he never has time to be excited about baby stuff! It's really hurting my feelings..I feel so lonely in all this with family miles away and inlaws don't give a crap... oh sorry dodn't realise I was going to have such a winge then at least I have lo to keep me company! x

4 more sleeps 'til my scan!

Emmsy1 · 19/03/2009 14:51

CONGRATULATIONSFRUITY Jack is beautiful!! so proud of you, stay in hospital for as long as you can, you need to recover.X

Ei sorry your temp has dropped again! (don't suppose its worth talking about an implantation dip is there?? Just a thought, hang on in there hunX

sparkly really hope all will be ok tomorrow. What time is your appointment? X

THLD yes, your turn next! Don't you worry, all will be just fine. X

Hello mibbes piper mollie kate scully Bella cricri and HTGG big wave to your all ~~~~~~~~~~~~

ps. mollie I don't drink alot of fizzy drinks, where did you read that info, I haven't come acoss that yet? X

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 19/03/2009 18:07

Oh Ei, I'm so sorry. What a frickin' kick in the crutch. But like TeeHee said, it ain't over til the fat, red lady sings. Is there anything you can do to get some tests done next month? Would they really be that mean not to let you go?

Sparkly Sending you big sticky vibes for tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed for you that you see a HB. If you can, please let us know how it goes. We'll be thinking of you.

Piper Poor you. I can totally empthaise with the horrendous MS. Just try and stay hydrated. You'll feel much worse if you lose too much fluids. I found herbal tea and de-caff tea settled my tummy. And just eat whatever you feel you can keep down. Weetabix is good as it's bland (and tastes the same going down as coming up ).

TeeHee Your LO is due 1 day before DH's birthday! I can totally vouch for the loveliness of Aries men!!!!

It's all rather strange here at the mo. DH is in the middle of a bidding war . Old company want him to stay. New company want him to go. Not complaining mind you. It's just rather weird to be in the middle of good stuff . Long may it last.

Hope everyone else ok.

xxxxx

Evening ladies,
Not heard from Fruity today but had quite a lot of texts from her last night. She said DS1 went to visit the hospital and wasn't that interested in the baby (are they ever...there's so many other things to see in hospital!!) and that Jack had weed all over her DP which she thought was funny . She's hoping to be home Fri/Sat so will keep you all up to do as and when I hear.
Georgie Am so glad things are looking up for you at long last. Chuck some good vibes this way .
Emmsy Scan us at 10:40. They're always running a bit late though. I hate the clamming feeling of the waiting room.
Piper Sorry to hear about the m/s. I've not had anything which makes me think tomorrow will be bad news but we'll see. Hope the doc gives you an earlier scan.
teehee Excellent news about baby turning! I can't believe how little time you have left. I'm getting excited .
Ei £$%&*% am so for you. Any signs of AF yet?
Mollie I hope I can deliver the goods tomorrow - wish I could feel more positive.

Well as I mentioned 10:40 tomorrow. No more spotting today - just lots of clear CM. Am really not feeling positive at all and have been deciding today whether to put my name on the list for a D&C and face a week wait or opt for a managed miscarriage. I think I'd prefer to have a D&C but I don't want to wait and end up in hospital like last time. . We'll get through it. Thanks for thinking of me xxxx

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 19/03/2009 19:32

Oh Sparkly. Just wanted to give you an extra big hug. You sound so down. I know that you're just protecting yourself by imagining the worst. I just wish I had a magic wand tht I could wave for you to make all this better. Bucket loads of luck for tomorrow. xxxxxxxxx

OP posts:
SparklyPseudonym · 19/03/2009 19:59

Thanks Georgie. I'm not too down, just want to get on with it...you know how it is. You can't stay in limbo. Well, I just allowed myself to have a cup of tea. I've had no caffine since BFP but with the scan being tomorrow, I know that it won't be the cause if there are any problems - LOL I'm sounding like a psycho!! Thank you xxx

Molliemooma · 19/03/2009 20:12

Sparkly Like Georgie said I know why you are doing this and I don't blame you one bit as I know I would be no different. But I am still staying positive for you and want you to text me the minute you are out tomorrow. Sending you all the luck in the world, although I'm hoping you wont' need it
Huge hugs x
EI So sorry things don't seem to be going as planned, will dust off the poms poms for me and TeeHee if it will help??
Emmsy I googled your results and got this
Georgie Good news on the fight for DH, who knew he'd be so popular
Piper Good luck with getting an early scan, hope MS subsides soon

teeheelaydee · 19/03/2009 20:22

Sparkly No spotting today is good news. You sound so resigned to the worst. I don't really know what to say to make you feel better and I should as I know what it is like to be so convinced it's all going to go wrong but please please try not to over think, see what happens tomorrow - my feeling is still, that all is fine. Thanks for being excited - I'll tell you what - I'll be positive for you and you be excited for me and sometime in the next 2 weeks we'll swap.

Piper MS is the pits - definitely take the time off - I found that when I struggled in no-one really appreciated and so you must do what's right for you and your little one (or is it ones!!!)

Georgie Ooooh Georgie - How exciting - is your DH's head swelling!! Love the weetabix comment - will remember that for future.

Thanks for the Fruity update Sparkly - hope she has a good rest.

Bella Sorry you're feeling fed up. Am sure your DH will get excited. It's easy to forget that they don't feel every kick and twinge and don't carry it around all day. Being pg becomes all we ever think about but it's not like that for boys. He will get excited but maybe a bit later I'm sure. You should definitely do the ante-natal though as there will be a whole room full of woman who are happy to talk about nothing else and there's always us.

Am in kitchen doing this while DP bakes little cakes/biscuits - he has asked me to point out to you all that he is baking!! 5 mins left to cook but then have to wait 10 mins to eat.

SparklyPseudonym · 20/03/2009 08:39

Morning ladies,
Managed to sleep quite well last night considering - woke up about 6:30 but then managed to snooze for another hour. DP is taking DD to school (think it's the first time ever!!) as he's normally in work before me and I'm sat on sofa in PJs. DP has booked the morning off and will take the rest of the day off if it's bad news.
Teehee That's a deal. I hope I can stick to the swapping part of it but if I can't, I feel extra excited for you. Chuck a biscuit this way . And WD to your DP for baking .
Molllliiieeeee Thanks for lovely texts of support last night. Will let you know how I get on.

If I'm not up to popping in later I'll ask one of the ladies to give you a message. Thanks for all. The count down begins...2 hours!

mibbes · 20/03/2009 09:40

Quick post for Sparkly - all the best hun, I'll be thinking of you xx

Molliemooma · 20/03/2009 10:28

Sparkly You will be in the waiting room now, really hope you are OK x

scully · 20/03/2009 11:19

Thinking of you Sparkly xxx
Hi to everyone else, bit tired here (9.20pm) so off to bed I think

SparklyPseudonym · 20/03/2009 11:28

OH MY FUCKING GOD - THERE'S A BABY IN THERE!!!
They added a day on so we've gone from everything looking 'very small' to 8 weeks rather than 7+6. I can't flipping believe it.
A blinking trainee was scanning me and had turned the screen away. She pulled some dodgy faces and then decided to call the doctor without telling us anything....the doctor came in and told her where to move the probe - she obviously hadn't even located my womb and said 'There's the baby - 8 weeks exactly!". I shouted 'Oh my God and then cried' and there were three of the doctors stood there saying awww. They have given me a picture but I can't make it out.

mibbes · 20/03/2009 11:48

omg fantastic news Sparkly, I am so pleased for you missus ! What an agonising few minutes that must have been when silly trainee was scanning the wrong bit !!!

Emmsy1 · 20/03/2009 12:41

sparkly you know how I feel about your news, I have already told some of the mums at preschool! It's now time to relax a little and try to enjoy being pregnant X

Molliemooma · 20/03/2009 13:58

Sparkly I know we spoke earlier but I had to put it on here too! So very very pleased for you, I could cry So want to give you a hug in person I hope to hear far more positive things from you in the future now!

cricri · 20/03/2009 14:00

Sparkly I've been thinking about you all morning and keeping my fingers crossed for you. I am so pleased to hear your good news -fantastic 8 weeks already too! As Emmsy says, try to relax now and enjoy your pregnancy. You can work out your EDD now - late October?
Hi to everyone else!

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 20/03/2009 14:03

Oh Sparkly, I am absolutely thrilled for you. Soooooo very very pleased that it's good news. As everyone else has said, try and enjoy your pg now. You deserve some stress free time honey bunch. Have a very lovely afternoon in the sunshine. xxxxxxx

OP posts:
teeheelaydee · 20/03/2009 14:18

Sparkly As I said great news but just wanted to let Mollie know that I've told you I will send her down to sort you out if you don't start being positive. 8 weeks and a hb means your chances of a successful pg go up enormously - so first hurdle out of the way.
