Hi everyone..

Bubble i don't know. I am very tempted every day now - the test in the bathroom is beckoning, but there is really no point. A BFP doesn't mean you are home and dry at this early stage anyway... I might as well wait a few days, if not a week to see if AF arrives. I will see if any symptoms materialise over the next few days - at the moment I have very very mild cramps and i can cry quite easily but this could be AF arriving... If I'm honest, I have had the oddest taste in my mouth the last few mornings and I almost stacked it on Thursday morning cos I felt so dizzy and faint and maybe a bit nauseaus? - i had to hold onto the table to steady myself! I am also salivating like a dog! But these are all things that I could be imagining or it could be another CP - I would really rather not get the BFP and then have AF arrive. It is too much of a rollercoaster.

Sometimes I really think it is AF arriving but then the feeling goes away and nothing happens. Obviously, despite trying not to think about it I am scrutinising my every waking breath. But I am going to have to be patient and wait... While convincing myself the AF is on her way...

Thanks for all the babydust and goodvibes everyone . Good luck to all those people (posting or not posting) that are waiting waiting waiting .

Hi Fifiok Ds and I are doing ok, he's been sleeping alot recently which is unlike him but he's not showing signs that he's coming down with anything. I, on the other hand have been staying up late watching crap on tv because I hate going to bed on my own, quite sad really I should be used to it by now.
The only person around me that knows we're ttc is my friend next door, her dh is also away at the moment so she's coming round later. How are things for you, wishing you all the best.

Catz · 24/01/2009 13:59

MissieMoos, really sorry to hear your news.

earlynite · 24/01/2009 14:07

No sign of AF but tested today and got BFN

AngelFairy · 24/01/2009 15:33

Hello ladies... Hurrah! It's the weekend!!

I'm sat in Costa breaking my way out of yet another latte, yum!
After my shopping trip yesterday, I have decided that I font need the dress, rights or bathrobe rail (!! Ha!!) Isn't it amazing to see the zones we go into when we're shopping?! I kept the rest though ;o))

Fifi... Test! You know you wanna! Go on! Test! Ha ha... Sorry, couldn't help myself. Good luck for WEDNESDAY chick x

Missie... I'm sorry that AF arrived. But hey, cone and enjoy the coffee with me! The shopping helps too, especially after you realise that sh1t food doesn't! Hugs x

Bubble... How you feeling today? Is your dh better yet?

Hello everyone else to all x

FifiOK · 24/01/2009 16:32

Angel I will not test !! & don't try & tempt me you evil lady. Just got back from shopping trip after staring at tests in Boots but came back with some Clarins goodies instead - how's that for self control? Going to try to hold out until Wed. Glad to hear you are enjoying a little retail therapy.

Homeinthesun glad you have someone to confide in. Are you going to test in a few days too or hold out until AF fails to arrive?

early sorry you got BFN but fingers crossed AF stays away. It's not over until the wicked witch flies in !!

missie so sorry you got AF. I'm sure your emotions must be all over the place but take Angels advice & indulge yourself but only stuff that won't make you feel too crap afterwards.

I've just made some sweet potato soup as my friend (39) has just conceived #4 after eating loads of it. Apparently sweet potato is a natural clomid. Probably a load of bulls**t but it will make me feel better next month TTC if it hasn't worked this time.

HomeintheSun · 25/01/2009 07:53

Morning ladies, I hope everyone is well. I plan to test when dh get's back from the UK which is another 13 days away (if af hasn't arrived by then)that way I'll hopefully be on cd39.
My friend came round last night so we were up talking until after 1am, ds got me up really early and he's now watching Alvin and the Chipmunks for the second time because he likes to dance to the music, but it gives me a chance to catch up on mn .

bubblebell1 · 25/01/2009 08:55

hi early sorry to hear about AF, do stay with us!

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 25/01/2009 14:13

Can I join you ladies?

HMHB ttc #2 cycle (not sure what this means? number of periods since started trying???? If so 0) CD 14

Unfortunately DH has just gone away with work for a week so that could scupper our chances!

Had a MC at end of September (was 5 wks pg).

earlynite · 25/01/2009 14:42

Welcome halfmum

hackneybird · 25/01/2009 15:50

Hello everyone

I've been lurking but thought I'd finally join in. Had an MC about a year ago, only just summoned up the courage to start trying again.

I'm on CD22, so a week to go before I can start testing. I had ov pains last weekend and so went for it, but I doubt very much whether I'll get a BFP this month as surely it won't happen this soon. Can't believe what a mare ttc is, I'm already turning into a crazy woman, symptom spotting like mad!

Been feeling lots of 'activity' in my lower abdomen lately and I feel very queasy, but this could easily be PMT. After the MC I had acupuncture, and the therapist said that very early conception and PMT can often feel the same due to similar hormonal surges.

Anyway, here's lots of love and luck to everyone, and big congrats to the graduates!

Welcome HB and HMHB Sorry to hear about what you've both been through. I had an MC back in Sept too - this is my 3rd cycle TTC since things settled down after erpc.

Early I will defo start a Nov thread as well as hanging around on here to see how everyone gets on if I don't get the result I want on Wednesday morning.

ruby any news ??

Have still resisted the urge to test amazingly but in seriously bad mood all the time this weekend. Probably good thing DH is away for a couple of days now. But he'll be back on Tuesday night late in time to tell me where my PG test has been hidden !!

OOPs not sure what happened there - maybe its a sign that someone will have twins !!

HomeintheSun · 25/01/2009 18:45

Hi HMHB and Hackney sorry to hear about your loss.

Bubblebell I am missing DH but kind of used to him going away but it's only for a couple of weeksso it'll be fine and DS keeps me busy during the day but I do hate going to bed on my own, last night DS came into bed with me so a was woken up this morning at 6.30 with him asking for milkshake and then trying to open my eyes by pulling my eye lids.
I can have a cycle that lasts up to 34 days, I think I got to day 38 before I tested when I got pregnant with DS, to begin with I was sure I was going to come on, then I went off my coffee and nearly threw up in my mum's kitchen so the test was just to put my mind at ease. Good luck to everyone testing soon and hugs to all those with af visiting.

RubyBuckleberry · 25/01/2009 20:40

Hi HalfMumHalfBiscuit - love your name and sorry about MC - you too Hackney - what a minefield this TTC can be! Soooo difficult to just enjoy the process with all these potentially sad things happening!

I think I might test tomorrow as I will be on day 32 and late. I also made a lovely cup of coffee this morning and it tasted rough, quite significantly rough too, whereas just last week i was loving it!

Funny taste and lots of saliva still present, although am convinced AF round corner as mild cramping still here as well as bloating now which is typical AF behaviour.

I'll let you know tomorrow people!

lovelylullaby · 25/01/2009 22:23

Hello everybody, just wanted to check back in. Not much to report, am just hoping we caught my fertile days this month, as my cycle is quite unpredictable and can be anything from 28 days to 70.

Awaiting news from you ladies who are testing soon!

xx
