Hi everyone. DevilsA can you fly at 32 weeks- Is it a long haul?
Bubblebell hello to you too- this wold be my 1st cycle after this chem pg but my 9th proper cycle in all for my second pg- do you want me to put 9th cycle or doesn't it really matter?
I do hope we all have some blooming luck this month, getting a bit fed up but will try to remain upbeat.

andi0411 · 10/01/2009 21:37

Sorry DevilsA you said France- will that be ok?

DevilsAdvocaat · 10/01/2009 21:38

i have no idea bubblebell. luckily flight isn't booked yet so can ask when booking.

i really thought you could fly up to 36 weeks

DevilsAdvocaat · 10/01/2009 21:39

oops sorry andi
that last response was to you!

MintChocAddict · 10/01/2009 22:11

Hi andi,
Welcome and sorry to hear you've had a CP. Keeping fingers crossed for you this month.

Great news about the BFPs. Congratulations to Trixie and Stealth. Hope they're the first of many.

FIFI - this is my first month of using pre-seed too. Not sure if it helped as also on the 2WW. I've never really managed to detect EWCM so hopefully it will have helped the little swimmers on their journey! .

Bubblebell - preseed is a erm female lubricant that is sperm friendly and supposedly created the right type of environment to help them on their way IYSWIM.
I had never heard of it either but had noticed people referring to it on MN. I stoopidly presumed it was some sort of health type supplement (given that it has seed in the title) and very nearly asked a shop assistant in a health food store if they stocked it!!!

SO glad I didn't.

earlynite · 10/01/2009 22:12

devil my airline is JET2.COM. This is from their website

There are no special restrictions on pregnant women travelling up to and including the 27th week of pregnancy. Between the 28th and 34th week of pregnancy travel will only be permitted with a doctor?s certificate confirming the stage of pregnancy and fitness to fly. Expectant mothers of 34 weeks or more on the return flight will not be permitted to fly under any circumstances. This means that both the outbound and return parts of the journey must be completed before the end of the 33rd week, not into the 34th week.

earlynite · 10/01/2009 22:13

It will probably vary from airline to airline

DevilsAdvocaat · 10/01/2009 22:16

gosh earlynite, i'll be just inside 34 weeks.
shite. i hope it's ok.

DevilsAdvocaat · 10/01/2009 22:16

can someone please tell me to calm down as i am NOT EVEN PREGNANT YET!!

earlynite · 10/01/2009 22:35

devil I am the same but my flight has been booked since october! If you were to get PG could you not bring your hols forward?

DevilsAdvocaat · 10/01/2009 22:39

early, dh and i are going to stay with pil in their house in france. those are the only dates we can go due to dh being best man at a wedding and other people staying at the house at different times.

only other option is to get the train.

have you already started trying? i can't remember and am too lazy to scan thread

earlynite · 10/01/2009 22:50

devil this is our 1st month of TTC so I am not expecting to be expecting yet I am due for AF 23rd - 24th. Maybe there will be a Novemeber/December thread. Don't want to leave it much longer coz I already have a DS 5.5.

DevilsAdvocaat · 10/01/2009 22:56

my af is due on the 2nd.
i think i am worrying myself unnecessarily.

it's just that last time i got pg 1st month . i had planned for it to take longer than that and ended up in amsterdam on nye (3 mo pg) because it was prebooked. it was crap and i went to bed at 12.05!

don't want another pg hols disaster.
also dh would be gutted if i couldn't go.

earlynite · 10/01/2009 23:03

devil Aren't we silly. Not even pregnant and worrying already. I already pricing up prams! Try not to worry about it.

DevilsAdvocaat · 10/01/2009 23:11

i find myself already thinking of names.
really must save some jobs for pregnancy or it will be a VERY long 9 months!

bubblebell1 · 11/01/2009 10:06

LOL

dh and i are arguing over names too. i have a girls name... its been the same since ds1 but cannot decide on a boys name. luckily our holiday this year is in devon so no need to worry about flights.

well its cd8 for me today and i am supposed to be gearing up for a huge bd marathon but i just dont feel in the mood. dh is at work this weekend and due home tonight so i am hoping i will feel more up for it later.

Andi can leave it as cycle 1 since your cp if you prefer. i dont mind.

mint how long is your cycle usually? how is your 2ww going? any preg sysmptoms?

Hello all, can I join please?

Recognise quite a few names from previous months TTC threads, really hoping this'll be the month many of us graduate!

AF arrived in full flow this morning, so I'm on CD1 today. TTC#3 and now on cycle 8. Have been finding TTC this time very hard as I was so fortunate to conceive our last two without really trying. Had my hopes up this last cycle as managed to BD quite a bit more, but think we missed a crucial couple of nights when DH was away...so hoping nothing more sinister is going on with my body and that we just have mis-timed BDing or not BD'd enough... Determined to try harder this month (and DD, fingers crossed, seems to be sleeping better so hoping I'll have a bit more energy!).

Good luck to all of you!

PS. I wasn't allowed to fly after 28 weeks with one airline, even within the UK (which was actually a good job as developed severe PE and DS was born at 30wks, very suddenly). But personally I think all plans need to be fluid until there's a sticky bean...and also know a friend flew home to Australia at 34 weeks, with a GP note, and everything was fine...so can be done).

bubblebell1 · 11/01/2009 13:18

Hello all!

Haven't been on this thread for a while...get a bit confused with the threads but recognising names now

I know the 'not in the mood' feeling Bubble, feeling that myself...which is a shame as DH will be away all next week, weather permitting, as usual at the perfect time of the month for ttc

Hope to hear more BFP's soon girls,

olivo · 11/01/2009 13:54

stealth, have just seen your post - CONGRATULATIONS! brilliant news!

MintChocAddict · 11/01/2009 13:55

Hi All,

Bubblebell - 2WW going OK. No symptoms to speak of, although very grumpy with DH but then that's pretty normal .

Am determined not to test early this time. Had a 38 day cycle last month and got my hopes up of +result, so going to try to hold out for a fortnight this time.

Hi Jumping Jellyfish.

theboob · 11/01/2009 14:02

hello girls

day after tomorrow will be my 2WW so I'm feeling a little nervous now, will get one last BD in tonight ,then we can get back to just for fun

I have always conceived in the first month or so before ,so think I will be here for a while as dont think i will be that lucky for a 4th time, fingers crossed

hope you are all well and we get more BFP's soon

JumpingJellyfish · 11/01/2009 14:05

Thanks for the welcomes and for adding me to the list

Mintchoc- I was an early tester except it disheartened me so much I have now finally managed to learn from experience and not test until after AF is due... So the past 2 cycles haven't used a HPT at all, and glad I didn't waste the money on them either... But it is hard and I'm sure if I'd had any in the house it would have been very tempting. I'm lucky though that at the moment my cycle is around 26 days so I don't have that long to wait each month, I think it must be a lot harder when you have a 30+ day length cycle. Good luck with the wait!

Has anyone used the clearblue OPKs? I've never used any OPKs but thinking of doing so this cycle. But I've read on MN of lots of probs with the eBay cheapies so was thinking of shelling out on clearblue ones just as a one-off this month. Do you think it's worth it? Usually I just go on cm (usually get a few days of EWCM which I assume are indicative of ovulation, usually between CD10-14) but would like to know more precisely when I ovulate as don't get pains etc...

HomeintheSun · 11/01/2009 14:13

Congratulations trix and stealth great news to hear.

Hi FifiOK sorry I didn't answer you before but I've not been online for a couple of days my cycle is between 28 - 34 days I find that if I'm stressed it's more likely to be 34 days, I've been keeping a chart over the last 8 months but this is only our fourth month trying. I used my ov stick yesterday and got no line and today I have a very faint line, so I'll start the bd'ing tonight, couldn't last night cause I was out. I am getting a bit of tenderness on the right side and a bit of cramping, but haven't had any ewcm and this is only CD12 so it can't be ov pains (I hope). I hope everyone is having a nice weekend.
