OK girls, will go and get the list, but have lots of comfy sofa's and chairs, chocolate cake and virtual champagne.

Good luck and positive vibes to us all!

AF almost definitely on its way, grumpy, bloated, and uncomfortable, and fed up...[shuffles off feeling sorry for herself], sorry.

Know how you feel Jaamy.

isawjaamykissingsantaclaus · 16/12/2008 21:14

Jaamy waves back at Mollie. Feeling a bit brighter today and more positive about TTC over Christmas. At least we will be at home so will be uninhibited IYSWIM!

Tinsel - hope TEW doesn't get you. Fear not, because even if she does, we're all gonna enjoy ourselves over Christmas and be buying those annoying "Baby's 1st Christmas" bibs this time next year!

Do you know what girls, as you know I'm TnTC at the moment, but I thought I'd share this with you to comfort us all that we are not going insane when we imagine our symptoms!

This month I've had sore (.)(.) a week early (not normal) I've had odd twinges in my tummy and slight spotting on CD23 & 24, now if I was obsessing trying I would be so getting my hopes up. As it is unless some bloody christmas elf has been sticking pins in my bloody condoms I know damn sure that I am not pg. Yet my body insists on winding me up! So girls we are not going mad when we imagine our 2WW symptoms, they are real not imaginary - what a PITA!

Hope you are all well

beanieb · 17/12/2008 09:42

OH GOOD LUCK Mollie! Maybe something has happened. Hope you get the news you want.

Weird thing - I haven't had a peak on my fertility monitor yet this month. The last few months it's been CD10 or 11 but I'm on 12 now and still Highs. Maybe I am not going to ovulate this month or perhaps because I stopped the agnus castus I will end up going back to ovulating on CD 15/16

pinkie08 · 17/12/2008 17:00

Jaamy sorry you're back at the top

I've got a terrible cold - DP has it too (he had it first) but the virus mutated as he passed it to me because whereas mine is a cold his is flu.

There are quite a few on the list 28 days and over - any good news to report? [hopeful emoticon]

Mollie and Blackrock

Just back from the doctors as a few weeks ago I found a lump in my breast, it was a week before my period was due so although the doctor agreed there was something there she thought just hormonal but to come back in two weeks and check. Lump still there so have been referred on to breast cancer clinic, should get an appointment in a few weeks, she doesn't think it feels anything to worry about (more lumpy than a defined lump) but wants it checked out hence non-urgent. Life just seems to have non-stop shit for the last 15 months, miscarriage, 15 months of not conceiving, cat dying, breaking foot and now this.

pinkie08 · 18/12/2008 13:30

Sorry Mollie and Blackrock Claire i know its easy to say but dont worry. i am sure that if the doc was worried she would have made it urgent not NON urgent.

Life is a rollercoaster and it will be on the up for you, you'll see. Have some of my secret dairy milk/galaxy stash and a ((hug))

ClaireDeLoon - hope your appointment comes through quickly.

Still no peak on the monitor. What's happening!

beanieb · 19/12/2008 08:06

me again

Still getting Highs on my monitor. I haven't ovulated so late in months, so get the feeling that stopping the agnus castus will take me straight back to ovulation on day 16 and a 9 / 10 day luteal phase. So now I am back to worrying about why this is happening. It's not normal is it?

DingDongMerrilyOnEI · 19/12/2008 09:21

hi ladies
sorry to see so many back at the top have a glass or three of bubbly at christmas to cheer you up
beanie dont worry too much about oving later as your lp may have corrected itself and you will have a nice 28 day cycle and a bfp at the end of it
hi to everyone else
still waiting for me i am going to tet on sunday as that will be the last day of my longest cycle if AF doesnt arrive before then fingers crossed though eh?!
xx ei xx

DingDongMerrilyOnEI · 19/12/2008 09:28

forgot to add
claire i had a lump in my breast at the beginning of the year and it turned out to be a small cyst after the GP was very worried and referred me as an urgent appt. my sister has had the same thing aswell and her doc wasnt at all worried as he explained to her it was very common especially in the childbearing years where there are plenty of hormones flying around. i hope your appt comes soon and you can rest easy knowing that you are ok FWIW my GP is a bit of a crank anyway thats why i wasnt too worried
xx ei xx

beanieb · 19/12/2008 13:31

I am worrying. I can't see how my luteal phase would have corrected itself when my last three cycles were 24 days (ovulation on day 12) , 23 days (ovulation day 11) and 24 days (ovulation day 12). I stopped agnus castus 2 months ago I think.

Am now convinced I have low progesterone.

Can anyone please tell me, am I allowed to get all my previous blood tests (Copies) from the doctor?

I expect my period in 10 days and I am feeling (emotionally) pre-menstrual. Already had two arguments with the OH today, am irritable and stressed and tearful. I can't bear these PMT symptoms - not if they are going to take up 2 weeks of every month. I never get any pains or physical symptoms, just sadness and temper.

Soory - a bit of a rant but I really just don't know what to do with myself and I can't keep on having to deal with this bad emotional state.

DingDongMerrilyOnEI · 19/12/2008 14:55

beanie the stress of it all can cause funny happenings with your hormones aswell so the more you stress the more unbalanced your hormones will be. i have a 8-11 day lp and it varies from cycle to cycle for me so believe me i know the stress it isnt nice being so worried but an lp defect is consistent and always low and if you stopped having your angus castus 2 months ago your lp would have returned back to low before now and you have had a 12 day lp which is a healthy length and plently of time for a bean to implant you can ask your gp to give you copies of your tests and maybe ask him to do a progesterone one aswell but to be honest you have your appointment soon and they will investigate all of that then aswell as an lp defect etc if you have been keeping a record of your cycles i would maybe take them with you to your appointment as a starting point. i know its not easy but try to relax and forget about the possibility of progesterone deficiencies etc and you will feel much better for it i know i do myself i hope you feel better soon xx
xx ei xx

beanieb · 19/12/2008 15:12

I'm never not going to be sttressed so I think I should give up TTC. I know this is my hormones talking, I know I will be back here next week, I know that my LP will not be 12 days this month it will be 10 or less. If I ovulate at all.

I really need to find a way to deal with the 2 weeks of PMT i get.

DingDongMerrilyOnEI · 19/12/2008 15:47

oh beanie i dont know what else to suggest as i have been there (and still am sometimes) and the only thing that broke me out of my obsession was to stop temping/opking and basically forget about ttc and see what happens i know it sounds so simple but it has taken me about 2 cycles to shake it off and even though im no further forward ttc wise i am happier emotionally and i am trying to convince telling myself it will happen.... i know it doesnt take away the yearning but it goes a long way to calm down my hysteria about FTC
xx ei xx

pinkie08 · 19/12/2008 15:52

beanieb

I am sorry that you are going through these worries. I do hope some of what i am about to tell you puts your mind at rest, at least a little anyway.

A lp of 10 or above is totally fine, we all have months that we dont ov so that could just be one of those months, also the highs mean that there is a rise in hormone but not just as high as it would like to register a peak. A have a friend who never got peaks and still got 2 BFPs so its not detrimental.

I would definately talk to the doc about your progesterone test results.

Was there a reason for coming off the agnus. have you replaced it with anything else?

If there is a prob with progesterone its quite easy to fix especially when you had good results from herbal things like agnus.

I hope that makes you feel better
