OK girls, will go and get the list, but have lots of comfy sofa's and chairs, chocolate cake and virtual champagne.

Good luck and positive vibes to us all!

Evening all, congrats babybump lets hope this is the path for many more BFP. I am due AF on thurs and am sure not pg this month no symtoms what so ever, sore boobs, bleeding or anything to suggest even a little pg. Has anyone else been like this then got BFP. Dont know what to think x

Am not sure when my period is due (possibly friday if my cycle is as short as last month) but I'll be itching to test from Thursday.

I have no symptoms either Zen but am sure I'll start thinking I have by Tuesday.

Wow so many new people on here! Welcome, and congratulations babybump

OK I am ready to bite the bullet and graduate myself. I know it's pathetic but can someone else do it next time they update - paranoid about jinxing it (told someone the other week we'd sold our flat & the next day it fell though..!). Anyway BFP 19th November.

Not going to join an ante natal thread just yet though..!
Still feeling a bit strange about the whole thing, just can't believe it's happening. Just want to get the next 6 weeks or so out of the way then I can relax a bit and start enjoying it.

Anyway, wishing all you lovely ladies a BFP very very soon. Will check in every now and again to look for graduates and will keep everything crossed for you. Thanks for all your support over the last few months xxx

My symptoms are here! Same ones I get every month but which turn out to be my period. Am guessing my period will rear its ugly head this Friday/Sat as I have my work christmas do on Saturday and my OH is away on Saturday so I will be feeling stressy and there's nothing like a period to make it worse.

Afternoon all.

I know what you mean about the symptoms Beanie, lets hope they indicate something else..

Well done BabyBump, especially on making only four cycles before a BFP.

Great also to see the graduate list growing.

My temps have certainly gone haywire. I think I may have ov'd earlier, so practising the Pasa Doble and hopefully not too late! Day 7 is early...

Temp has gone up this morning, so may have missed the boat. I am literally surrounded by babies....four in four weeks from various friends. Have held a different babe every week, all beautiful. DS asked if we could buy one from the shops! Even he is getting impatient.

Take Care..

Spotting started today. Am sick of stupid TTC and failure to actually get anywhere with it. Tempted to chuck it all in and just be a career woman with hundreds of cats instead.

Sorry you are feeling a bit bad Shayerhol. I haven't always kept up with the thread, do you always have a short cycle?

I managed to get my cycle and tubes checked out because of my short cycle...which was reassuring, but still no BFP.

Are you on a waiting list yet? Do you temp? It gives me something to think about other than TTC (I mean waking up and reaching for the thermometer, before you move takes real concentration and remembering is an art in itself )

I try to think of Mrs Fossil who after 4 years got her BFP, and two friends who got theirs after six and eight years. One other adopted a child after being told there was not a possibility...two years later she got her BFP.

Hello all you lovely ladies!

Sorry I've been absent for a while. Life and the need to earn some money for Christmas and the MN Manchester Christmas Do took over! So haven't really had chance to catch up withour shiny new thread and hope I've not missed anything.

Just popped in to send a big congrats to babybump.

And a great big hug to (((Shayera))) Please don't give up TTC...we'd miss you too much. x We all have rubbish days and it must be so much more painful for you TTC #1 instead of us greedy ones who want #3.

Migola - well done for grauating...not that I won't miss you when you finally make the leap to AN thread. Hope you are still taking good care of you and bean.

Ei - Twas lovely to see you on Sat. Probably just as well that we didn't end up crying in the corner about TTC!

Am still getting positives on my OV sticks so it's all good fun here. Poor DH has man flu but is still doing his duty My stats are a bit wonky (CD16 cycle16) but not to worry, I'll update when I get to CD1 again, the pessimist that I am. It's a double bluff really. If AF thinks that I think that she's going to catch up with me, then she might miss me out this time round Perfect sense!

Hello to all the new folks and welcome!

And a lovely big wave to everyone else. Especially to Sparkly - nice to see you, petal.

ShayeraHol

Sorry to see you so down. I feel the same TBH. Apart from the fact that I don't have a Career, just a job so I will carry on living my mundane childless life while everyone around me pumps out baby after baby.

I am becoming increasingly bitter now and though I know I should be looking forward to my fertility consultation in January I know that it's just the begining of a very long process which won't end in IVF anyway so I am starting to see it as utterly pointless. I will be 39 in April and as I have been trying for over a year I am pretty certain now that I am never going to get pregnant.

My period is due, so I am emotional and tired. Last night I went from being happy to being incredibly angry and upset. On top of it all I appear to have thrush or something worse and was unable to get an appointment with my doctor today so will have another nights agony before I can be told if my swollen sore foof is a symptom of my impending death - or the menopause.

I would go to Reflexology today but I know I would only cry.

I haven't had sex in over a week because it's too painful.

Basically as you can see I am not really enjoying my PMT very much. If I don't get a decent nights sleep tonight I will probably just cry in the Doctors office tomorrow until she gives me drugs or something.

Hi everyone, corry to hear you're si fed up and despondent beanieb and ShayareHol, although i din't blame you, feel like chucking in the towle myself at times and only on cycle 3. It's because of the mc though, feel if I did get BFP would be riddled with panic.

Spent time this pm with friend and her 12wk old dd, did a lot of cuddling, hoping she gives me luck, how stupid am I??? Pg friend was there too and she's super anious cos of my mc earlier in the year. God so bloodly stressful!!

Now have to stop being distracted by mn and write case study for CBT course. Send me motivation ladies!

Apologies for my earlier ranting, something happened today to put everything into perspective. A friend was told that her baby died at 8.5 weeks and has been taken to hospital for an operation. So sad.

My foof is a bit better, hoping to see the doctor tomorrow.

Very sad Beanie. Am sorry you felt so down, perfectly understandable. I have had a good cry at times and it's absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. The frustration of wanting and trying for something so wanted, is emotionally draining, however lighthearted an approach you attempt to have.

Thanks guys - am still a bit down about it all but trying not to let it get to me. Had to go into Early Learning Centre today though to buy a present - mini mini meltdown. It's not fair, but whingeing isn't going to change anything.

beanie - sorry you're down too, and also sorry to hear about your friend. Worst time of month when the PMT hits and is made doubly tough by the knowledge of what it means.

Still spotting today. Got the Xray tomorrow, there's a small stupid part of my brain that thinks I might still have a chance so (barring full flow tomorrow AM) I'll tell them there's a chance I might be pg, and then feel like a moron for it.

Love the new name, jaamy :D

hi ladies
sorry you are feeling so sad beanie and shayera FWIW beanie it took me just under a year to get preg with DD and im on cycle 13 now ttc#2 so it WILL happen for you! it is just so hard to see when its looks so bleak when you get BFN or AF i have a friend who tried for nigh on 20n years and got preg by accident(her and her DH had decided to stop dreaming and get on with childless life) at 39 and now has 3 gorgeous girls and is expecting her 4th next month she is 45 next month aswell so has 3 under 5
also thrush is a valid 'symptom' i had it non stop for the first 12 weeks with DD and it is caused by hormone/CM changes i soooo hope this is your month
hello to everyone else

My thrush is cured I think by the pessary, but my vulva is red raw and it stings wehn I pee. My doctor is fully booked until Tuesday.

Did a pregnancy test last night (Evening urine about 10 DPO) just because I wanted to make sure I wasn't pregnant before using the pessary.

I just want my foof to stop hurting PLEASE! not had sex in over a week and my OH is away this weekend. then I will have my period for a week so it looks like I'll be something stupid like 3 weeks without sex Plus I am worried that if my period shows up it will just make the infected area worse and I'll still have thrush when it's gone

Report
DingDongMerrilyOnEI · 03/12/2008 10:58

i wouldnt worry too much yet beanie your AF isnt due until friday and testing at 10DPO with evening urine is not the most reliable of testing times so maybe wait until friday to test with FMU and the pessaries are safe to use durin g preg as the gp prescribed me more than a few with mine get yoursellf some lavender oil for the stingy bits as it is antiseptic and has healing properties and you will be right as rain in no time
